I don't quite get it

So, apparently Arnold has been living with this brain tumor for almost 50 years, and he's fine until he overdoes the time travel. Hiro has been living with his for a couple weeks, and he's just weeks away from death.--Gibbeynator 09:29, 15 December 2009 (EST)

• We dont know when Arnold got the brain tumor. The reason Hiro got it was because he was bringing people with him when he time traveled. Arnold however hasn't shown that when he was younger. Doesn't it show Arnold as a young man just a year ago?     • I saw it more as Arnold had been living with the tumour when he was a young man, as Joseph pointed out. Then he goes to Coyote Sands, and somehow ends up aging into an old man, where the frailty of his body combined with the tumour killed him when he took Charlie away. As for how he aged so rapidly...that, we'll have to see. Swm 11:03, 16 December 2009 (EST)
      • Lydia told Joseph that he wasn't trapped in the past but was in the present, which means Arnold had to have aged all those years without being able to make it back to the present. We also saw him with respiratory breathing tubes in the tattoo of Lydia. And you can't get those over a couple of hours, since it would probably take tests and stuff. Arnold's age

Getting Adam back

Samuel and Joseph's Father

Wouldnt it be cool if Arnold somehow got stuck in the past and he's really Samuel and Joseph's father. XD. daevon 00:18, 16 December 2009 (EST)

  • It can't be 1961. The photo Arnold had was of a fully completed Coyote Sands camp, and it was taken in January. Arnold arrives while the camp is under construction, and he says that he's early.--Gibbeynator 08:52, 16 December 2009 (EST)

There is a chance. Arnold has a ability (Joseph and Samuel too), Samuel's dad is unkown, and Arnold is now old enough. Our new relationship ?

• Got the same feeling... but when Lydia came to the carnival, she even then could feel that Samuel was a bad guy. Don't know if she could have a relationship with a man like that. AltesUTC CH 12:43, 18 December 2009 (EST)

    • But that makes things even more complicated : Joseph replies that he realized he needed Samuel's method after all. But that was an answer to "I thought you didn't approve our new relationship", which would imply Joseph didn't speak to Lydia anymore because he was disapointed in her behaviour ? But then again, why would Joseph's answer being about Samuel's method if it has anything to do with a real "relationship" ? As you stated, Lydia said she was good nearby Joseph and that she could see the darkness within Samuel. So that actually makes sense at all. Moreover, Lydia joined the carnival when she was very young, and created bonds with Edgar way before "last year" as seen in several GN and webisodes. I'm lost.         • I thought the "new relationship" was samuel using his ability combined with her's. Joseph would have frowned on it because Samuel's ability would have been developing to realise that he could also control some ink.                   • • It was pretty obvious that they were talking about their mixed abilities, and that Joseph didn´t approved it. I think it´s mostly because of Lydia than Samuel, like not wanting to test and explode her like that.
