Waffles

People love waffles!

Many characters on Heroes love waffles, the delicious breakfast treat often served at diners.

Claire's mother, Sandra Bennet, calls Claire and Lyle to breakfast, telling them that she has made waffles.

After being forcibly evicted from the casino, Ando and Hiro find themselves just outside the Fly By Night Diner. Upon entering the diner and being seated, Hiro wonders aloud whether it serves waffles.

At the Burnt Toast Diner, Ando complains about the lack of dining options on the menu: "No wonder everyone in America is so fat. All there is to eat is waffles and French fries."

Kaito tells Hiro that he has gorged himself on waffles. Hiro tells his father that he should try them, they're delicious. His father plainly responds that no, he would not like waffles.

At the Burnt Toast Diner, "Sandra" serves a customer waffles, marking the first onscreen appearance of the delicious fluffy treat.

Hiro and Ando teleport to a bowling alley in Tokyo where Hiro is excited to see his favorite type of waffles: American style chicken and waffles. Waitresses serve plate after plate of the heaping treat to customers, and Hiro is beside himself enjoying the food.

Later, at Sam's Comics, Hiro finds a copy of 9th Wonders!, Issue #16, which features Hiro eating waffles.

Hiro tells Claire the only English he knows is "Where is train station?", "I must use toilet", and "More waffles, please".

Later, Hiro's father, thinking Hiro to be the new chef, tells him to make Tamagoyaki for his mother. Hiro makes waffles instead, explaining to his mother that he doesn't know how to make Tamagoyaki. She tells Hiro, "Those are my son's favorite."
