Character History
Brave New World
One night, Oscar Gutierrez, dressed as El Vengador, watches a woman run away from two men in an alley. Vengador drops down and incapacitates the men with ease, but is subsequently shot twice in the side by the woman he was fighting to protect. Before the woman can shoot him a third time, Vengador shoots a wrist-mounted knife into the woman's throat, killing her. Clutching his side, Vengador returns to his garage, but dies of his injuries soon after.
Odessa
Pictures of Oscar's killer and her two associates are on the cover of the Los Angeles Times newspaper that Carlos picks up. The newspaper reports that El Vengador is wanted for murdering them.
