Episode Checklist
- Is it Kosher for newbies to add items to the checklist or is there a specific protocol for what can be added to the checklist? What has to happen before we can put an _X_ in an entry's blank? (NissanVersaDootDoot 23:08, 4 October 2007 (EDT))
- The checklists are there to provide a convenient reference per episode to make sure that everything that needs to be updated gets updated. For each new episode there are a ton of things that need to be be updated like per-character episode summaries, article of the week info, the sections in the episode article itself, etc. This way one can glance over it quickly and see what's left to be done. Anything significant in an episode that will require an article can generally be added to the checklist. So if there's something important in a given episode, you want to make sure that it gets updated/created, and it fits into one of the sections already on the checklist you can add it. Marking it with an X is done when the task is taken care of (e.g. Claire is marked off once her episode summary is written and added to Claire). (Admin 23:20, 4 October 2007 (EDT))
- And it's totally kosher for anybody to add anything that needs to be done to the checklist.--Hardvice (talk) 23:39, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
Power theft cleanup
- Thanks for getting that. I must have switched up tabs when I was editing the page, so thanks.--Bob 17:07, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
Timeline
When you get a chance, could you work your magic and add Template:PortalDecember2006February2007? Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:06, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
- Since there are three months, I'm assuming we don't need to link the individual days (i.e. it should be more like Template:PortalPreeclipse than Template:PortalOctober2006)?--Hardvice (talk) 20:29, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah. I tried to adjust the picture of the preeclipse calendars to fit, but only one of the months was able to be adjusted. I figured I'd ask the source. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:35, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
Mohinder's office
- Not sure if you noticed, but the most recent standardized version of Micah's file you uploaded is 158k. Think that could get knocked down to closer to 50k? That's about the size of the ones I uploaded and they still look good to me at 50k. (Admin 00:27, 11 October 2007 (EDT))
- Yeah, lately my images are coming out huge. I musta knocked the quality up on my jpg compression or something. In any case, as long as all the ones you uploaded are the same size (as each other, not necessarily 450x350), we can just delete that Micah ... it's a duplicate of the one you upped.--Hardvice (talk) 00:31, 11 October 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, I took the time to make sure my coordinates were all the same when I was cropping, so they should all be the same. (Admin 00:43, 11 October 2007 (EDT))

Evolution Image

Tell me that the evolution image isn't crying out for a sixth figure that's flaming or just starting to take flight.
- I'm assuming you mean "flaming" as in somebody like Ted, not as in somebody, like, say, Zach? :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:13, 11 October 2007 (EDT)
- Er, yea. Ted or Meredith. Flaming, not flaming. -- FissionChips 11:24, 11 October 2007 (EDT)

Sanderses'
- Could you check out Talk:The Sanderses' home? Some more discussion as to the correctness of Sanderses' that could use your input. (Admin 19:21, 14 October 2007 (EDT))
Group of 12 pic
Why not allow the composite of the several framed-screen caps stay? Yes the clarity was a little less because of the merging, but it gives us ...ALL 12...of the twelve, as the picture is without the hand overprints. We could add all the frames individually to the gallery also, but having a single picture containing all the 12 is better. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 10/16/2007 18:29 (EST)
- Read the talk page. Somebody uploaded a better version of the composite to a different file name. There's no point in having two composites, particularly in the gallery.--Hardvice (talk) 18:31, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
t-shirt
- I assume your t-shirt did arrive, right? It got sent out a long time ago and I just want to make sure. (Admin 20:13, 16 October 2007 (EDT))
Theories, condensed
You're always good for a hearty chuckle. Thanks. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:45, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
- Really, it's all the OMG THIS VAGUELY BROWN WOMAN MUST BE MRS. DEVEAUX / NANA / PAULETTE HAWKINS / THE SUPERSPEED AGENT / ALL FOUR AT ONCE theories that finally did it. I've been thinking of adding that section for a while, but these theories reminded me to do so.--Hardvice (talk) 23:47, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
- BTW, if you can think of any more, please feel free to expand it!--Hardvice (talk) 23:49, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
Dawsons
Lucky you, I'll let you work on the Template:Dawson Tree :) The way I understand it, Nana and Paulette are either sisters or sisters-in-law. Nana's son is MIA, but he and Monica's mother had two children, Monica and Damon. That would make DL and Monica's mom first cousins. Micah and Monica/Damon would be second cousins. Nana is Micah's great-aunt. That seems right to me, but it's entirely possible that I'm way off. (Incidentally, I also think we should have an article about Monica's mom.) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:06, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
- Hmm. For now, we have no real in-world confirmation of a lot of the relationships. It's probably best to just stick to the immediate Dawsons (Nana, Mom and Pop Dawson, and Monica and Damon) until we get an idea of how they're related to the Hawkinses. Then we can do one giant horking tree for everybody, which should be fun.--Hardvice (talk) 01:13, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
Image map problems
- Check out the discussion here about the Group of twelve image map not working properly for some people in IE. I switched the image back to the static one for now until it's fixed. (Admin 11:37, 17 October 2007 (EDT))
- Check the discussion here again. The IE bug has been patched on BionicWiki.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:40, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

Images for Portals
- I'm currently looking for an image for List of references to Heroes to go in the portal, but, right now, it's hit a dead end. I think the Simpsons trailer - "Save the Beerdrinker, Save the World" would be good for it, but I can't find a pic right now. Still looking though.-- Lost Soul talk contribs 04:32, 21 October 2007 (EDT)
Just wondering..
Do you have any suggestions you can make for my page on powers? Also, check out my most recent one, under Fan powers. I know my videos need a little work but I'm getting there. And, if you can get your hands on a camera, contribute some videos. :D--Riddler 22:50, 21 October 2007 (EDT)
PSA: Blonds
Missing from the theories public service announcement: every blond character is related to every other blond character. --FissionChips <talk> 17:06, 26 October 2007 (EDT)
hmm
Check out http://www.thelindermangroup.com which got added to our fan sites listing. Is it just me, or does this look like blatant copyright infringement? (Admin 10:54, 31 October 2007 (EDT))
- Oh my. I wouldn't expect them to last long.--Hardvice (talk) 10:55, 31 October 2007 (EDT)
- ARIN WhoIs says they are in Amsterdam, NL. I think they are outside copyright enforcement boundaries for the USA.--Mish 13:52, 9 November 2007 (EST)
- I'm not a lawyer, but they're probably still running afoul of some copyright law enforcable over there. Regardless of whether it's legal over there or not, it would certainly be illegal here in the US so to be safe their links were deleted from our fan sites listing. (Admin 13:56, 9 November 2007 (EST))
- The Netherlands is indeed a party to both the Berne Convention and WIPO. While the U.S. is in non-compliance with the Berne Convention on several issues (notably copyright term), there is indeed copyright reciprocity between the U.S. and the Netherlands.--Hardvice (talk) 14:29, 9 November 2007 (EST)
- Then I guess he's lucky he's not ripping off the RIAA. Or else they'd already have his testicles.--Mish 17:40, 9 November 2007 (EST)
Thanks for the clean ups!
It seems reading aloud and spell check still doesn't save my ass! Lulu 00:28, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
- No problem! Thanks for all the hard work on the character histories. A lot of us seem to be getting caught up in discussions and not paying much attention to the checklists, myself very much included.--Hardvice (talk) 00:31, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
- Not a problem. I get to feel like I'm actually contributing now. Lulu 00:34, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
Theory
Although I didn't put that note in there myself, "this has nothing to do with this theory" (assuming I'm looking at the right note in the history) is very relevant. Mr. and Mrs. Petrelli were founding members - what's the likelyness that their sons alter-ego was in on it with them? I doubt he was even born at that time.--Riddler 00:35, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
- The theory says that Adam is Peter's alter-ego. The author meant like Jessica is Niki's. Adam being a founding member of the Company could, I suppose, be a point against (since the Company was founded 30 years ago and Peter is only 28), but it doesn't really speak to the theory at all.--Hardvice (talk) 00:39, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
- It's very much so a point against. They're refering to the alter ego like Jessica to Niki- one in the same person, same body, though not the same mind. If Adam is Peter, Peter wouldn't have been born yet, or just a baby, and would have been a founder, which makes not a lick of sense.--Riddler 00:40, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
New calendars needed
- when you get the chance, new calendar images will be needed for the Timeline portal (SacValleyDweller (talk to me!) 17:41, 3 November 2007 (EDT))
Flag
- Could you grab a flag for the Italian localization as well while you're at it? (Admin 16:16, 4 November 2007 (EST))
Sorry
Yeah, I copied and pasted it; he had already made the page so there was no template button (and if there was, I didn't see it), so I copied the previous page. I think the page in general is a waste though, unless there is some citation of it's name.--Riddler 16:27, 5 November 2007 (EST)
- OK, cool. No problem. I just wanted to make sure we hadn't missed a template or something. :) --Hardvice (talk) 16:28, 5 November 2007 (EST)
- Hey, do you know why I'm able to move articles now? That option has never been at the top of my page, I'm fairly certain.--Riddler 17:50, 5 November 2007 (EST)
Danke mista!
- Thanks for the help on the Spoiler talk:Powerless page. I found it ironic that I myself was powerless against it.--Bob (talk) 05:26, 10 November 2007 (EST)
- I've added another option: Template:Spoilertext. It lets us do forum-style spoiler text, such as this: Template:Spoilertext--Hardvice (talk) 05:33, 10 November 2007 (EST)
Of course, not very many browsers support the :hover pseudoclass, so that one has limited usefulness. We could implement it with Javascript pretty easily if the need arises, though.Never mind, forgot to refresh around the cache on the other browsers to grab the updated Common.css. Works in IE, FF, Opera, and Safari.--Hardvice (talk) 05:37, 10 November 2007 (EST)
