Welcome to...
After a long wait...René! --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 11/9/2009 20:52 (EST)
- I already knew his name. Hayden Panettiere I think mentioned it in an interview that I read. I tried to post it, but apparently his name is considered a spoiler, so it was removed.--Icefire227 21:18, 9 November 2009 (EST)
- I don't know if that's his real name though. It would've been awkward for Claire to introduce him as "The Haitian" I suppose keeping the name would be fine. But shouldn't there be a note saying something like "While Claire introduced him to Gretchen as 'Rene' it is unknown if it's his real name or if Claire just said it to introduce them more formally." Or whatever I'm trying to say here.--Dman dustin 22:13, 9 November 2009 (EST)
- If that's what he's called, that's what he's called. If Claire and Gretchen call him "René", we can too. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:04, 9 November 2009 (EST)
- Claire says it when the two of them are alone. She says "Come on, René" when no one else is around to hear.

Is Matt...
really dead? — Raiku 23:51, 9 November 2009 (EST)
- We'll have to wait to find out! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:56, 9 November 2009 (EST)
- I'll also remind people that spoilers don't belong on this page. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:05, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- I realize after deletion that your smiley face is referring to the post-episode preview. Apologies all around. My point was that revealing the answer in these previews keeps it from being a spoiler, yeah? I think the greater point is that while appreciated as teasers, sometimes it's like whatever assistant editor who cuts these things doesn't realize that he/she just killed everything the writers were going for not FIVE minutes ago.
new actors and characters
-- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:03, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Dayng! --Radicell 00:08, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Yeah, is that a record? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:40, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Sadly not, Episode:Building 26 beats this one by 15 to 13. I'll start grabbing images now. --Radicell 00:43, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- My favorite was Garrett Ryan. --Action Figure 13:03, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- HEY! Kevin Perreira from G4's Attack of the Show was in this episode! He played one of the agents that handcuffs Mylar at the airport! --Action Figure 10:41, 11 November 2009 (EST)
- Cool! Kevin's a good guy. When I was involved with The Post Show, my favorite thing about Kevin is that he would continue talking to the guest hosts, before the show started, after it ended, and even during the commercials. And it wasn't just shooting the breeze, but it was full on nerdspeak, all about the show and his theories and such. He has some real geek cred with me! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:22, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- How did I miss that? I watch AOTS everyday! Can he be credited as a charactor/actor? I mean, he is kind of well known, and he did the post show as well. Since he appeared (even uncredited) he deserves a page.--Ratclaws 16:34, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Yes, of course! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:15, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- I'm fairly certain that Allison's sorority friend in this episode is the masked sorority sister from last episode who is supposed to be named "Megan". Yes? NileQT87 22:26, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- I don't know. I'll ask Bonnie Bentley. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:10, 12 November 2009 (EST)
- No, Bonnie wasn't in Shadowboxing. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:04, 13 November 2009 (EST)

Great Episode
I've just watched the episode and am verily impatient for the next week's dudes :) --Janrodrigo 05:36, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Each week just keeps getting better and better. This has been a rock solid season so far! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:32, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Yeap, definitively :) --Janrodrigo 09:12, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- this is the second episode that I actually liked... can't wait until monday --Themd 11:22, 10 November 2009 (EST)
Where were...
...Hiro and Noah's partner. I wish they'd continued Hiro's plot more. One thing that stuck out was Noah's lack of a Partner when he entered the Taylor home. --mc_hammark 12:29, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Wait, you didn't see Claude in that scene?--Citizen 15:52, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Why does Noah need a partner? He doesn't work for the Company anymore. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:23, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Think he means the Rebecca 5 years old scene... --Juba 16:37, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Oh, that makes sense. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:02, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- I suspect Claude was with him in that situation, but of course, he's invisible. I'm not kidding- for all we know Claude was in the other room and helped Noah with Becky's father. Swm 08:10, 12 November 2009 (EST)
- Took a look a the timeline. If it can be trusted, Claude would have been his partner.--Ratclaws 09:21, 12 November 2009 (EST)
- Wherever Claude was, we can be sure he didn't look under the bed, otherwise he would have seen Becky. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:15, 12 November 2009 (EST)

Samuel
Seems to be digging himself a hole, and not the good kind.--
anguard 12:47, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Whats the good kind of hole? --Action Figure 13:05, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Oh, there are so many ways I can answer that question, AF, but I'll refrain since I have a baby on the way... :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:23, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Then you already HAVE answered it. --Action Figure 17:47, 10 November 2009 (EST)

- On a more serious note, he seems to be trying to make allies while surrounding himself with people who don't like him. I love the character, I love the actor. But more and more... he's just being stupid.--
anguard 22:25, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Methinks Becky is not the only slightly unstable one...--Ratclaws 22:33, 10 November 2009 (EST)

Since when can Sylar's body...
fly ? User:Crazy-Mick
- He acquired so much knowledge of Nathan's past, he empathetically obtained flight.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 10:01, 11 November 2009 (EST)
- You're kidding, right? He's had flight since An Invisible Thread... Revengeance 10:23, 11 November 2009 (EST)
- Yup, we just needed confirmation so we could list him as having it, which we did in this episode. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 10:59, 11 November 2009 (EST)
- It's not really determined yet whether it's advanced TK or flight. He flew/TKed out of Danko's car and onto a rooftop last season. Don't remember which episode. Sorry.
- He also vanished from sight while he was making Claire scared when he moved around the house, before getting her ability. Thing is, at that moment he was Nathan, he wanted to fly and he did, so that confirms Sylar has flight. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:02, 11 November 2009 (EST)
- He got regeneration before shape-shifting. What are you referring to?
- Sylar could vanish from sight when he had only his original ability and telekinesis, as I mentioned from taking Claire's ability, but since he was in a kitchen, there no real space for him to rise with telekinesis. He just does that. When he flew in Shadowboxing, he didn't disappear like that, we saw him take off, the same way Nathan used to take off. That pretty much confirms his acquisition of flight. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:15, 11 November 2009 (EST)
- All right. I'll accept this reasoning. I won't accept that it was good writing though. :) He's only supposed to empathically take powers when he cares or feels (in the case of Elle). Just to suddenly take a power in the middle of a fight is pretty weak indeed.
- There is also a chance he took it during his forced time as Nathan. Clairsentience helped him know Nathan's memories, and since Nathan was a good person...empathy.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 17:38, 11 November 2009 (EST)
- He also took shape shifting like that, he knew how James Martin felt, about wanting to be someone else, so that's how he was able to get this ability without examining his brain. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:42, 11 November 2009 (EST)
