The priest confirms this, and tells Carlos that after June 13th, Oscar set up an underground railroad for evolved humans to escape to Canada. In return for this information, the priest asks Carlos if he can send two evos through Oscar's passage, located underneath Oscar's garage. Notes
- In The Lion's Den, Carlos says that Father Mauricio is from St. Francis. The name on the front of the church shown in Odessa is "St. Mary's Church". It is assumed that "St. Mary's" is the name of the real-life church that was used as a stand-in for exterior shots. Additionally, the eBook A Matter of Trust repeatedly refers to this church as "All Saints Church".
