Adam kills seemingly endless Evan "clones" through the changing seasons, searching far and long for the "source" of the replicates. Eventually, he is cornered at the edge of a cliff where the Evan copies mock Adam's futile pursuit, claiming they are the people and he is simply alone. They push him off the edge and he plummets into a river below, where he realizes they were right--he can't do it alone, and he will need disciples to follow him. |

Summary
