Action figures

Heroes action figures include Claire, Hiro, Mohinder, Peter, Sylar, Noah, Linderman, Niki, Claude, Matt, The Haitian, Nathan, Elle, Adam, Ando, and Maya.

About

The Heroes action figures are produced by Mezco Toyz. Each articulated figurine is approximately 7″ and comes with 3 3/4″ diorama scenes. Larger, more detailed 9″ "deluxe" figures are also scheduled for November 2008 release.

Series 1

Series 1 of the 7″ action figures were released on June 11, 2008 (excluding the limited edition variants). Characters include:

• Claire Bennet -- includes wounded head, wounded arm, and painting
  • Fire Rescue Claire Bennet -- includes alternate arm, alternate head, and painting (Toys 'R Us exclusive)
• Hiro Nakamura -- includes sword, messenger bag, and painting
  • Times Square Teleport Hiro Nakamura -- includes sword, messenger bag, alternate head, and display base (Toys 'R Us exclusive)
• Peter Petrelli -- includes alternate glowing hands, messenger bag, and painting
  • "Flying" Peter Petrelli -- includes flight stand, and painting (Diamond Previews exclusive)
• Mohinder Suresh -- includes Activating Evolution book, messenger bag, and painting
• Sylar -- includes brain, glass shooting hand, baseball cap, and painting

Limited edition Series 1 variants include:

• • Future Hiro -- includes Kensei sword, and sheath (Mezco Direct and San Diego Comic Con '08 exclusives -- limited to 3,000)
  • "Phasing" Peter Petrelli -- includes messenger bag, and painting (Wizard Entertainment exclusive -- limited to 500)
  • "Invisible" Peter Petrelli -- includes messenger bag, and painting (Wizard Entertainment exclusive -- limited to 1,000)
  • "Painting" Sylar -- includes Isaac's paint brush, painter's palette, and easel with painting (NBC exclusive -- limited to 2,500)

Miniature 3 3/4″ versions of Claire Bennet, Hiro Nakamura, Future Hiro, Peter Petrelli, Mohinder Suresh, and Sylar are currently being planned for November 2008 release.

Series 2

Series 2 of the 7″ action figures are currently being planned for early September 2008 release. The concept art of the figures suggests five characters including:

• Claude -- includes wallet, staff, and pigeon
  • "Phasing" Claude -- includes wallet, staff, and pigeon
  • "Invisible" Claude -- includes wallet, staff, and pigeon
• Noah Bennet -- includes cell phone, infrared goggles, taser, handgun, and removable glasses
• Niki Sanders -- includes mirror, handgun, and alternate Jessica head
• Mr. Linderman -- includes flower, painting, and alternate wounded head
• Matt Parkman -- includes bag of diamonds, handgun, and Molly Walker

Series 3

Series 3 of the 7″ action figures are currently being planned for late November 2008 release. The concept art of the figures suggests five characters including:

• Elle Bishop -- includes alternate electric hands
• The Haitian -- includes windchime
• Kensei Hiro -- includes mask, alternate head with helmet, Kensei sword, and sheath
• Nathan Petrelli -- includes alternate wounded head
• Peter Petrelli -- includes identity box
  • Future Peter -- includes alternate hands

Series 4

Series 4 of the 7″ action figures are currently being planned for early 2009 release. The concept art of the figures suggests five characters including:

• Gabriel Gray -- includes wall clock, magnifying glass, snow globe, and scissors
• "California" Claire Bennet -- includes teddy bear, messenger bag, and cell phone
• Adam Monroe -- includes Kensei sword, sheath, and Shanti vile
• Ando Masahashi -- includes Kensei sword, and scrolls
• Maya Herrera -- includes "Wanted" poster, backpack, and alternate crying head

Notes

• Heroes action figures were featured on the cover of the March 2008 issue (#127) of ToyFare magazine (available January 9, 2008).
• A placard behind Hiro Nakamura in the Series One figures says "June 2008." A placard behind Noah Bennet in the Series Two figures says "Sep 2008." It is assumed these are the months the figures are planned for release.
• According to the Mezco Toyz website, Series 2 will now include Claude in place of Future Peter.
• A limited edition Future Hiro figure, including the Kensei sword and sword sheath, will be available exclusively through MezcoDirect.com and Summer 2008 conventions. It is planned for release sometime around August and is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide.
• According to the July 2008 issue (#238) of Previews, Series 3 will now include a new version of Peter Petrelli (wearing the Haitian's necklace and the plaid shirt in Cork, Ireland) in place of Adam Monroe.
• Future Peter was on display behind Elle in Mezco's display case at the San Diego Comic Con, which would seem to indicate it is now planned as a Series 3 variant figure. Adam Monroe is now planned for Series 4.
