Summary
Adam looks on in complete disbelief as he realizes Evan doesn't heal like he does, but can create copies of himself. Adam kills seemingly endless Evan "clones" through the changing seasons, searching far and long for the "source" of the replicates. Eventually, he is cornered at the edge of a cliff where the Evan copies mock Adam's futile pursuit, claiming they are the people and he is simply alone. They push him off the edge and he plummets into a river below, where he realizes they were right-- he can't do it alone, and he will need disciples to follow him.
