A little (too) early maybe. Martijnvs 16:14, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
- They're released every Tuesday around 2am Central. So yeah, they are. Thanks though.--Bob (talk) 16:15, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
- I'm on Europe-time, so I kinda got lost in the timezones. The comic wasn't up when I edited the page, it was a bit of a guess. Martijnvs 04:16, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
Reviews
It's getting exciting now... nice to learn more about Connie. Interesting that Gael knew both Connie and Julien at least 20 years ago ago... The artwork was phenomenal this time. I especially liked the full-page explosion on page 10.--MiamiVolts (talk) 04:45, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- A well-compelled story (with twice as many pages as usual, one would expect it), and neat to have Agents Perez and Donahue showing up. I was hoping to have seen the Kill Squad by now though... :/
- Badower's art remains skilled (and with the regards to buildings, vehicles and items, even good.) But his characters (specially when they move) still have me wishing he'd take some proper comic artist lessons.
- And - a great cliffhanger! :) Pierre 05:08, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- Don't like the Kill Squad. Not for what they do but because I think they're a poor choice for characters. Did Donahue die when the vans exploded? Can we assume the rest of the newbies were there? Therequiembellishere 17:45, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
Easter Eggs?
ROESian? Seems strange it would be written that way. People in the backgroud of the cafe, Two clones, Penny, Possibly Agent 1, Possibly HRG. A agent has WISE written on the back of him, another ..NTE. What do peple think?--Skywalkerrbf 11:18, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- We are all ROESians! It's a shoutout for HERO of 9thwonders, see Badower's Blog... --Juba 12:15, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- ohh man... i have to say WOW! >> the best GN i've read so far. Jason you are an incredible artist! --cookie 13:23, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
Who hit Thompson, Jr.?
Ryan removed this from the summary I wrote, but I think it's clear that Donna hit Thompson, Jr. with the gun. Look at the color of the guns. Donna's is silver, the same color as the one that hits Thompson, Jr; Connie's gun is dark black in that scene. And if you don't want to trust the color, you can zoom in on the gun that hits him and notice that it's labeled "Infinity". The text is slightly blurred, but it is legible. Connie's gun is labeled US Military (we got a good view of it in Part 1).--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:07, 12 September 2008 (EDT)
- Agreed. Also considering T-Jr. asked "Are you insane?" and Donna was the one who answered, it makes it more solid, methinks.--Riddler 00:16, 12 September 2008 (EDT)
- I agree as well, it makes no sense for Donna to be aiming a gun at Thompson Jr's head after "Connie" smacked him. Even if Julien was being insulted, having Donna pointing the gun at Thompson Jr. randomly simply after "Connie" smacks Thompson Jr. makes no sense. Donna was the one that smacked Thompson Jr. Had Connie smacked Julien she would've been the one pointing the gun at Thompson Jr. --Dman dustin 07:37, 13 September 2008 (EDT)
- Donna pointing her gun at Thompson makes as much sense as Donna hitting Thompson, especially if that's the moment she chooses to show her allegiance to Connie. Both guns have been colored silver-gray (see p3, panel 1), and I don't see anything that says "Infinity" on the side--I see a blur and that's all. I'm not saying Donna didn't hit Thompson--in fact, she very well could have. I'm not sure what's wrong with saying, "Thompson, Jr. is pistol-whipped in the face and he falls to the ground on his knees. He asks, 'Are you insane?' Donna, pointing her gun at Thompson, replies, 'You have no idea.'" There's no speculation there, and there's no misinformation there. The events are all accurately depicted--Thompson in hit, and Donna betrays Thompson. With the information we have right now, I don't see the need to insert any more information than that. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:56, 13 September 2008 (EDT)

- Ryan, check out the image I just uploaded... and compare it to the standard-issue Infinity gun... the writing matches, and so does the shape of the gun. Now check out Connie's gun, which doesn't match... it has two rows of markings, no sets of ridges, and a different shape. Now, there's only two sleeveless people standing there with guns. It's not Connie's gun that hits Thompson, so it must be Donna's--process of elimination. I think it's speculative to suggest a sleeveless person we don't see came out of the blue and hit him. Of course we could leave it off without being speculative, but my thought is that who hit Thompson is important to the storyline, non-speculative and should be documented.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:57, 13 September 2008 (EDT)
- Oh yeah, okay, I see the ridges now. I hadn't noticed them before. Good eye! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:06, 13 September 2008 (EDT)
Magic necklace?
I haven't seen this discussed, so I'll mention it here. Donna's necklace disappears and reappears... When she gets dressed in Foresight, it's there through till the end of the novel... then, in Into the Wild, Part 1, Donna isn't wearing it when she talks to Thompson, Jr. In part 2, Donna is wearing the necklace again while Thompson, Jr. chases her through the woods; but when she stops by a tree, the necklace is gone. However, it appears again when Connie confronts them, and it's gone again after Donna smacks Thompson, Jr. with the gun. It's probably just an oversight, but I thought it interesting.--MiamiVolts (talk) 04:04, 12 September 2008 (EDT)
