Notes

Fan Theories

  • The location of Peter's scar will most likely be revealed in this episode.
  • String Theory is a possible explanation unifying general relativity and quantum mechanics in physics. This episode might have a similar theory as to how the formula works. It could also refer to the possibility of alternate futures instead of a destined future.
  • Hiro will contact his future self while in the future, which would be allowed with interpretations of String Theory.
  • Hiro connects pictures in his room with string. How these pictures connect together are a map of the space/time continuum and a list of the things Future Hiro needs to fix.
  • Claire hooks up with some guy named Andy. Andy is played by Kellan Lutz, who is seen kissing a brunette Claire in a sneak preview.
  • The title doesn't refer to the actual theory, but rather, the string timeline seen in Isaac's apartment at the end of .07%.
  • Peter meets D.L. because he phases through a wall in the preview.
  • Molly Walker's character gets a mention in one of the sneak peek trailers, as one of the Heroes that Future Hiro needs Mr. Bennet to get hold of.
