June 13th, Part Two
In 2014, Carlos relieves his medal for being an American hero from General Curren. Curren reviews the details of the situation of which he is being awarded. Carlos responds to General Curren's questions in front of a committee. Curren says that the next events are not recorded and that Farah Nazan says that he saved the troops. Carlos agrees with Farah.
Later, Carlos feels bad about this because he knows that he was not the one who should receive the medal. He believes Farah should receive it because she was the one who committed the act of bravery. However, they lied because she is an evo. Farah says that she held up her end of the deal and he needs to uphold his end. She is not discovered as an evo and he was not court marshaled.
