Examples of empathic mimicry

Empathic mimicry is the ability to duplicate the powers of other evolved humans. A full list of examples of the power in action follows.

Season One Examples

• Peter explains to Nathan what happened when he got out of bed that morning. He tells him that his foot hovered for a split second before he hit the ground. (Genesis)
• Peter duplicates his brother Nathan's ability to fly after Nathan drops Peter. (Genesis)
• On a rooftop, Peter doesn't realize that he is walking on air while in Nathan's presence. (Don't Look Back)

• Peter duplicates Claire's ability to heal the fatal injuries he received in a long fall. (Homecoming)

• In a cargo container in Cork, Ireland, Peter mimics an ability to fend off some thugs. (Four Months Later...)
• Peter mimics rapid cell regeneration after receiving a beating from Tuko (Caitlin doesn't find any cuts on his face, but wipes off a large amount of blood). Peter mimics phasing to escape his bonds. He then mimics lightning, telekinesis and enhanced strength to fend off Caitlin's attackers. (Lizards)
