Outside [[Memphis, Tennesse]], a [[Prison transport bus]] carries a convicted [[Perrin Crocker]]for murdering his wife, who is thinking about who actually murdered her, since there was no murder weapon found. Still, the blood was on his hands according to the jury. He meets [[Steve Gustavson]] who angers him about his wife's murder. A raging Perrin then [[Spike Protrusion|protrudes spikes from his body]], killing everyone on the bus (expect presumably himself) and causing it to crash, while realizing what killed his wife. The next day, [[Donald Essex]], a guard on the transport bus (who was also wondering about his own life), is in the Memphis Hospital, under observation without a scratch on him. [[Nathan Petrelli]] arrives, wanting to talk to him about his situation. |

Summary

- Under the Bridge, Part 1 is told from the perspective of two people: Perrin Crocker (whose thoughts are outlined in blue) and Donald Essex (whose thoughts are outlined in orange). This is not the first graphic novel to be told from two points of view: Turning Point showcased both Audrey's and Sylar's thoughts, while Special showcased both Claire's and West's thoughts.
