Hurricane Katrina was a tropical storm that drastically affected New Orleans and many other cities.

The Kindness of Strangers
Monica mourns her mother, who was killed by the storm. She remembers the mass destruction on August 29, 2005, and asks Camille how one storm could take away her family, her college education, and change her life so drastically.
