GN screencap
Looks like they're gonna stretch out Linda's next novel. That's okay, this was a rather cool novel. The Haitian is back with HRG, Sanjog Iyer too, plus a new ability, and a new mystery that looks like could have a part 2. Can anyone grab the photo of Sanjog inside Piper's eyeglasses? I think that would make a good screencap for the novel.--MiamiVolts (talk) 05:25, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
At first I thought MiamiVolts was pranking us
For a while, I had thought about designing a fake graphic novel page to be put up on april fool's day, since it would fall on a tuesday. I had some ideas floating around, like "Cold Blood" that talked about how Sylar stole the Freezing power from JAes Walker. And then when people clicked on the links to read it, they would be treated to Rick Astley. So of course, when I got here I saw through the recent changes that Miami had added "elasticity" to the GN powers page and I thought "oh wow, that's even better! I can't wait to see how people react to this fake GN of his!"
But I found out it was all real. Dangit.
It was still a great Graphic Novel, anyways.--Piemanmoo 05:28, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Heh, you think maybe NBC is going to pull this novel and replace it with Linda's? They've done two novels before. Anyways, Happy April Fool's day.--MiamiVolts (talk) 05:31, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- We should start doing April Fool's in the future. "Volume Three airs today!" And then create a fake episode for it, with crossovers and plot twists and everything. Even pictures. --DocM 09:27, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of April Fools pranks so I really wouldn't go for it. (Admin 09:45, 1 April 2008 (EDT))
- Totally agree. I hate to be a spoilsport, but I would consider April Fool's jokes to be one step below vandalism. I know, I'm just an old fart. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:01, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- When I read this I though Ooo, bendyness. :) -Lөvөl 12:02, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- It's confession time: I actually wrote a script for NBC during the writer's strike which featured a character with the power of elasticity. The script wasn't needed because about the time that I submitted it, the strike ended and the writers came back. But it's nice to know that my power choice wasn't too far off the mark! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:37, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Assuming you weren't pulling our leg (pun intended, heh ;)), that'd be pretty cool.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:41, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- No, no leg pulling (see my post above). Joe Tolerico was in charge of all the graphic novels and asked me to submit one. He's focusing on just Evolutions now, and really doesn't have much to do with the GNs. There's still a chance I might write one in the fall, but that's very much up in the air. In the meantime, NBC has plenty of guest writers to cycle through before they hire on new guys. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:44, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- You mean write a second one? I'm assuming NBC will save the script you submitted, used or unused.--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:05, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Probably not. I mean, they have it in their possession, but it's just a sample script. Sure, it could be used at any time (I wrote it so it wouldn't need to fit into the chronology of the show or the other graphic novels). But I'm sure that if they want me to write a script, they'll give me a subject, or a specific storyline to focus on. We'll see, we'll see. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:09, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- I'd love the opportunity to write a graphic novel. --DocM 21:30, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Yes, me too. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:56, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- It is indeed a great opportunity Ryan got. FWIW, there are several online sites that allow people to publish fan-fiction such as fanfiction.net. Of course, getting your novel drawn and colored by a professional artist is a different story--it's a bit harder to accomplish and much more cherished. On a similar note, anyone hear any word on when Create Your Hero will continue?--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:48, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Voting is finished, I think. No results have been announced. I get an update email from Joe once every week or two. The last one was two weeks ago, so he's probably due for another, assuming he's not swamped with work. That's the most I know. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:01, 1 April 2008 (EDT)

The Other Debbie
Might Piper's sister be Debbie Marshall? Hmm. They at least look similar...--MiamiVolts (talk) 05:45, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Thats exactly what I thought when I read it too but that makes no sense whatsoever - not that that's ever been a problem for the Powers That Be --Yamawhata? 16:43, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Actually, I'm thinking it makes perfect sense if Debbie was brainwashed by the Haitian.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:19, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
Questions for Micah

Is that really everything?
I'm asking myself one question about the GNs for several weeks now: Is that everything we're going to get to see about our heroes until September? This novels about characters that only appear once and then disappear into nowhere, where they obviously originated, are really starting to annoy me. I'm always excited when I hit heroeswiki every tuesday, if there's gonna be an exciting or unraveling novel, but no... cheesy novels about Ben Franklin or this "Hey, I'm in your dreams to help you, but actually I can do a shit to do so"-boy. Man, I want some characters I can relate to. I have to admit, that I enjoyed the story about Noah getting his glasses, but 80% of the novels that have appeared since the season 2 finale just sucked like a**. I mean wouldn't you also like to see what happens meanwhile with our heroes? Or at least what happened to the maincast sometime between season 1 and 2, that was cut out or dropped from the script, because the episode would've been too long? --BloodyFox, 17:52, 1 April 2008 (CEST)
- You're right. Even if these one-shot comics are okay for filler, last year had so much more. We had multi-part backstories on Candice, the Haitian, Claude, Hana, and Linderman, and even one-shot backstories for Eden. Honestly, I hope they start doing more than this. But yeah, backstories and explanations on characters/things like Angela and Arthur, Peter's scar, the Haitian's real name, or hell, even more adventures with Adam. I appreciate that they're at least giving us something each Tuesday (they could just leave us with Evsdropr and go about their way), but it's been five months since Powerless. Pleeeeeeease give us something more. --NellaBishop 12:07, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Four months, actually.--Paronine 13:21, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Four Months Later... after Powerless, and we get this. --DocM 13:22, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Indeed... and Debbie Marshall's character first aired in Four Months Later.... Interesting coincidence.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:41, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- And to think, Six Months Ago, we saw Sylar return in Season Two. I wonder what we'll be doing when Five Years Go by. Hopefully, we Don't Look Back at-... Okay, I'm done. And yeah, I'm bad with counting months sooo sorry. >_> --NellaBishop 20:05, 1 April 2008 (EDT)

- Oh, boys, you have really crossed The Line... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:21, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Heh. You've made One Giant Leap and are now heading for Collision with the Date Line. So you better Run now, cause you're running Out of Time! :)--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:38, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Are we going to stay up until Seven Minutes to Midnight doing this, or are we going to find some Distractions? --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 20:43, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- This is the hard part. We have to fallout to end this run. --DocM 21:33, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
- Meh, a decent sized Landslide should be The Fix to this problem. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 22:42, 1 April 2008 (EDT)

Dream Study
On activatingevolution.org there is a submission by a Piper J, it has some similarities but there in a lot that is different. Oddly the GN is very similar to the dream I submitted, I will see if I have a copy. -Lөvөl 12:02, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
