Character History

Kindred
Niki promises that she will take Micah to see his dad anytime he wants. Micah, crying, runs over to his father's grave. Later, in New Orleans, Micah is apprehensive about meeting his new family. Niki promises Micah that she will always be there for him. Niki and Micah approach a home and meet Nana.
The Kindness of Strangers
Now living with the Dawsons, Micah is rudely awakened by his cousin, Damon, who splashes water on his face. At breakfast, Monica and Damon argue about a pay-per-view wrestling match he wants to watch. After Monica leaves, Micah tells Damon that he thinks he knows how to get pay-per-view.
That night, Micah uses technopathy to gain access to pay-per-view, so Damon can watch the wrestling. Monica enters, and begins to get angry, but Damon tells her that Micah is a genius and rigged the cable. Micah apologizes, and Monica reminds him that his mother asked her to look after him.
Powers
Micah has the ability to manipulate electronic and/or mechanical items. He can manipulate technology whether broken or working. Though his ability to build new technology is unknown, he did say he had created a new motherboard for his computer that he received from his grandfather, Hal Sanders.
Equipment
- 9th Wonders!--collection of comic books by Isaac Mendez that Micah enjoys reading
- Laptop computer--given to Micah by his grandfather, Hal Sanders
- Money--stolen by Micah from an ATM and given to his father
Notes
- In the unaired pilot, Micah is seen talking on the phone with the ticket sales office of a train station about a trip taking "a couple of hours". It is unclear where he is planning to go or why (he did offer to buy the tickets when he arrived at the station) because he is interrupted by Tina and is forced to hang up. Later, Micah has run off, along with $300 from Tina's purse. (In His Own Image)
- Micah is currently one of the youngest characters known to have demonstrated a superhuman power, along with Sanjog Iyer and Molly Walker.
- Noah Gray-Cabey is 11 years old, which is probably close to Micah's age. Hal Sanders, who hadn't met Micah before, said the laptop was "amortized over ten birthdays". (Six Months Ago)
- In a possible future timeline, Micah was killed during the explosion in New York City. (Five Years Gone)
Trivia
- Micah has a cousin who overeats and is very fat. (Landslide)
