Jessica has lost their trail in the woods, but she soon hears Micah's cries for help. Pretending to be Niki, she makes her way to the cabin and finds Micah on a rock outside. The hunter is now the prey, as D.L. surprises her, leaps out of the cabin, and hits Jessica with a shovel. Jessica loses [[Jessica's gun|her handgun]], and as D.L. reaches for it, she kicks him across the clearing with her super strength. Micah tries to intervene, but Jessica throws him aside too. Seeing her son injured, [[Niki Sanders|Niki]] takes control, stops the fight, and apologizes to D.L. and Micah.
