Hana recalls her time training in Alaska with Mr. Bennet and her ability went haywire because of increased magnetic activity and an aurora. She receives in overload of digital information in the aurora.

Brave New World

Malina creates and controls an aurora borealis in the Arctic Circle. Inside the aurora's swirling colors, there appears to be an eclipse. Malina turns to somebody and says, "It's happening faster than we thought. I don't think I can control it much longer."

The Needs of the Many

Malina revives a flock of butterflies in the Arctic. They fly off into an aurora.

Later, several different people see an aurora, much further south than usual. These people include Carlos Gutierrez in Los Angeles, Tommy Clark and Dr. Lopez in Indiana, Noah Bennet and Quentin Frady in Colorado, and Miko Otomo over the Pacific Ocean.
