Trivia question
So I figured I may as well put up the checklist, although it's pretty early. Anyways, I had a question on the trivia for this episode; (and I may be wrong, so correct me if I am) but should we mention the fact that this is the first episode that directly and blatanly refers to a character (Sylar).--Anthony Gooch 20:05, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Not sure if it is. I do know this is the first episode where Sylar and Nathan share a scene with each other for the first time. Aka interacting with one another. Also it seems that Ando is the first character to have a super hero name if you don't count Micah/Rebel. --OutbackZack 22:08, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Or Gabriel/Sylar, Monica/St.Joan, Claire/Comes-back-to-life Barbie (j/k on that last one, but that would be an AWESOME superhero name). --Crazyaspie 23:02, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- But I think Ando is the only one to take up a "super hero" name. Micha just suggested (if I'm correct) to Monica.--OutbackZack 03:45, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Or Gabriel/Sylar, Monica/St.Joan, Claire/Comes-back-to-life Barbie (j/k on that last one, but that would be an AWESOME superhero name). --Crazyaspie 23:02, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
well actually there is an episode called hiros that could count as hiro`s name in the episode title
- Ah, good point! Scratch this.--Anthony Gooch 22:25, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- How about this being the first time Sylar can shapeshift clothes... wtf was up with that? --Action Figure 22:39, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Maybe it involves both DNA and matter. --BoomerDay 22:43, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- maybe he's just getting better at using the ability... --Peter
- So absorbing DNA allows him to shapeshift his clothing.... no, it was a matter of convenience for the episode. The writers even said in a recent BTE that Sylar CANNOT ss clothing and they made sure of that limitation at the writer's table... --Action Figure 22:54, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Exactly. They took creative liberties here. Though it would have been crazier if he COULDN'T shift clothes, and that he kept changing between his mother's clothes and his own... that would make it even more Norman Bates-ish. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:56, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Which is exactly what I told my friend they were going for, and I would have liked to see. Sylar traipsing around in his mom's sweater... :) --Action Figure 22:57, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- They have told half truths (or changed their minds) in BTE's before. Besides, it makes it easy. Indeed, it would be troublesome for Sylar to have to change clothes EVERY SINGLE TIME he shifted. Especially to Micah or his mom. --Crazyaspie 23:00, 20 April 2009 (EDT)

Another "superhero name" (the best one): baby touch-and-go
It should definately be noted the comparison of Sylar's creepy mom-confessions with the movie Psycho --Crazyaspie 23:30, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- That's exactly what i was thinking!
Sylar + Super Speed?
How is sylar moving so fast? Super speed? --Peter
- Doubt it --BoomerDay 21:32, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- We're speculating that somewhere (off camera) he picked up some sort of teleportation...majorly b/c of the scene where he escapes Danko's car so quickly and was suddenly on the rooftop--Anthony Gooch 22:04, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- in this episode as well, however, he went from a ground floor to wherever Micah was in moments. Personally, I think something is up... --Peter
- A question to be solved in much later episode or in a graphic novel...the writers attempt to taunt us.--Anthony Gooch 22:09, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- For the latter, he could just scale the building with telekinesis. He's done it before. --Action Figure 22:39, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Escaping Danko's car (without opening or closing the door) and TK jumping to a building all within a spilt second, I doubt it...I think the writers are trying to lead us to something: Danko's car scene, appearing behind Micah, getting in Tom's apartment.--Anthony Gooch 22:55, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- That would be the obvious answer, he could just used telekinesis against the ground and that would push him upward. Or he could be like Batman like Action Figure said.--Madheroesfan 07:13, 21 April 2009 (EDT)

- I blame the Danko scene on poor editing. But Sylar has always had the Batman-Disappears-When-You-Aren't-Looking non-ability. --Action Figure 22:58, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- I apologize in advance cause this will sound harsh and rude: what's the matter with you people??? BTE already confirmed Sylar doesn't have a teleportation ability, why do you insist on speculating on that??? Geez! Sorry, had to vent. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:17, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- In my book, it isn't rude if it's correct. ;) --Action Figure 15:23, 21 April 2009 (EDT)

Wierd...
...Nice episode, but how did Sylar survive the the knife? And what's wrong with Hiro? I guess we'll find out next week! --BoomerDay 22:39, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Maybe baby Parkman's ability has a statue of limitations....like an experation date. Hiro was rubbing his head through out the episode, and could Sylar rcr be evolving, or maybe Danko missed that "miniscule" part of the back of the head Sylar talked about.--Anthony Gooch 22:48, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- I thought it was because Ando's hand was on Hiro's shoulder when he tried to use his ability.--Riddler 00:54, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
I'd guess it has something to do with the shapeshifting changing him like with the extra tooth and his eye staying blue. Bacon warrior 05:14, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
I figured Sylar must have moved his brain somewhere else with shapeshifting. Is that too weird? Uh, and I agree with Riddler - Hiro probably has more difficulty stopping time when he has to stop it for two people (possibly Ando's power "fixes" this). Oh, and the word "weird" is spelled a weird way. :P --Cosmic AC 06:20, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- I meant Ando's supercharging.--Riddler 14:25, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
New ability
The guy that Sylar met (who thought he was Rebel - Tim Miller?) had a new ability. Wikipedia calls it Disintegration. I think that's an okay name.. --Peter
- Describes it perfectly fine, I think... though for future reference, we shouldn't always go to Wikipedia for power names. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:50, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Wikipedia called him Tim...I thought his name was Tom?--Anthony Gooch 22:51, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
We already have disintegration touch, then again. --Crazylicious 23:09, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- So I'm thinking we shouldn't overlap abilities!--Anthony Gooch 23:14, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Well one requires touch while the other doesn't... I don't see why we shouldn't have similarly named abilities if it's justified (precognition/precognitive dreaming, for example). Disintegration is fine by me. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 23:32, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
The ability seemed to hit the resonant frequency of the object until it became unstable and fell apart. Maybe the ability should be called mechanical or harmonic resonance. Just a thought. - Aquifex
- Lol...Precog. and Precog dreaming are examples of disasters...I think they are still arguing on those pages about name changes...haha, But I still see your point. I'll be fine with whatever everone else settling on.--Anthony Gooch 23:52, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- LOL. I find it funny noone's suggested "Shattering" yet. After the whole ordeal with Trevor's ability, we actually have a power that has a shattering effect actually made for it, and it's not even thought of.--Riddler 00:53, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
I personally think it was something like frequency manipulation, or sound manipulation, where the user causes a vibration in the object at the sound frequency where it shatters. Much like sound breaking glass. Dean 02:04, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Well then Sylar didnt think thats what the ability was, because he can already do that. --Action Figure 03:20, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Just a note that Sylar gained Trevor's ability back when he first started killing people but lost that power due to the Shanti Virus at the end of Season 1.--Halfxwitted 16:02, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
Samson?
I'm pretty sure that in one of the recent BTEs, they said Samson would be returning again in this volume... and that it would be in this episode. But obviously, we didn't see him... mistake or what? -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:51, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- He's on the IMDB cast list. He probably had a scene that was cut. :( --Crazyaspie 22:57, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- I hope he at least appears in the finale. His whole plotline was a major letdown... -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:58, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- IMDB is user submitted info. They probably just read that, too and made the entry. --Action Figure 22:59, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- I hope he at least appears in the finale. His whole plotline was a major letdown... -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:58, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
I Am Sylar
It could be fun to put in the trivia how many times "I Am Sylar" was said. Besides the opening title and the blood writing on the wall, how many times was it mentioned? --Crazyaspie 02:53, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
lead image
I think that instead of the two Nathans we have now, we should use the image of I AM SYLAR written on the wall in tom's blood. It seems to fit the episode's theme a bit more.--Piemanmoo 05:10, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Agreed. Or when he cut it into his hand.
- Do you like the one i put up? or do you want it with the focus on the wall, or Sylar cutting into his hand?--Madheroesfan 07:10, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Isn't it redundant and a bit overkill to have both the leadimage and the titleimage focusing on the same phrase? With the two Nathan's it gives a little different perspective into Sylar's identity struggle.--HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 04/21/2009 08:46 (EST)
- I like the image that's up there now...though the watermark needs to be removed and the picture can stand to be lightened. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:49, 21 April 2009 (EDT)

Summary
It's all about Sylar. Could somebody fix it?
--- The whole story arc was about Sylar. Not that I had anything to do with the summary. --Cosmic AC 06:24, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Fixed. --Radicell 06:36, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
Has Sylar gone mad?
Why did he keep shifting into his mother, himself, his mother and himself again and again just to "talk to his mother"? --JLYK 19:32, 21 April 2009 (EST)
- Missing his adoptive mom? Or maybe posing as so many different people really drives him crazy? Wouldn't anyone go insane? -- Altes 10:26, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
What if...
Sylar kills the president. X_X The irony. --JLYK 20:37, 21 April 2009 (EST)
- No, even Heroes won't go that far. -- Altes 10:25, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- What is the irony and why wouldn't they go that far? --Action Figure 11:55, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
Mohinder Captured Again
Can I get a count on how many times Mohinder has been apprehended? It's getting sad, lol. GabrielPetrelli 10:39, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Once in first episode, they take him when they interogate Noah, Danko tricks him into the room with all the heroes subdued, and this episode I think. So Four. Poor Mo. And other characterrs have held him captive. --345tom 15:57, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
New actors and characters
I'm including Amy Sloan from Nowhere Man, FYI. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:46, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- This is Agent Harper and not the agent number VI. I think someone has to change the photo name so that the wrong photo may not appear here. --Janrodrigo 11:19, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Thanks, Janrodrigo. I had forgotten that we changed #6 to Harper. The image name doesn't matter so much...so long as it's not the wrong image. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:08, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
Synopsis
I finished the order with synopsis but I wrote as invisible because they are just plots. I'm too tired and kind of busy so didn't have time nor the energy to make full sentences, write all the details and put all the appropriate internal links. I tried to not miss any point and especially to put them in correct order. I hope it helps. --Janrodrigo 12:05, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
Hiro, Ando, Sylar & Claire...
I think Ando should supercharge Hiro!
Sylar + Claire = Noah ?
the episode was great! I loved the final scene! --Themd 13:00, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- Yeah, i've been waiting for Ando to charge Hiro for a while, it seems the obvious thing to do. And UGH! the thought you claire + sylar = Noah, I find is just disturbing. I dunno why, it just seems revolting. But yeah, the final scene was great, as well as the whole episode, another great one I think. --Darkphase 14:07, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
