Gemini: Heroes Reborn is a first-person action-adventure video game based in the Heroes universe. Along with the game Heroes Reborn: Enigma, Gemini serves as a prequel to Heroes Reborn, taking place in both 2008 and 2014. Together, the two games tell interlocking, yet independent tales.
The game was designed by Phosphor and is headed by Tim Kring's Imperative Entertainment. In contrast to the mobile platform game Enigma, this core game became available on Xbox One, Steam, and PC on January 19, 2016. The PlayStation 4 version was released a week later, on January 26.
Characters
- Cassandra Hays, the player character, is a 20-year-old woman with the power of telekinesis and "localized time travel" which allows her to "shift her current environment backward through time in order to manipulate the environment" and defeat her enemies. - Dahlia Hays, Cassie's older sister, whom Cassie visits in the Quarry
- Trevor Mason, the antagonist of the game and founder of the The Quarry

Notes
- Tim Kring said that two of the writers for Heroes Reborn actually wrote the script for the game itself.
- Game designer Brad Santos said that the game BioShock was one of his inspirations for Gemini. "Although our game is less combat-oriented ... there is that kind of survival, tense, constant struggle for survival as you're moving through and using a combination superpowers and first-person navigation."
- In the webisode Dark Matters, Part 5, one of the files that Quentin Frady sees on the Renautas root directory is titled "Project Gemini".
- Alex Woodward gives Cassie a pair of smart glasses field tested by random Renautas employees. Alex says they have all the features of a next gen smart phone — they can text, surf the internet, take photos and video, even keep track of the user's vitals. The glasses also uplink to the cloud and searches photo and video data from social media accounts, and uses facial recognition to determine who the user is looking at. If the person speaks, it utilizes voice to text conversation. The glasses can also lock onto a person and predict where they would be, even when they're out of sight. The glasses also have GPS and can find a person's location using nav waypoint. Cassie and Alex also use the glasses to communicate with each other and send files back and forth.
- Differences between Gemini & Enigma:
- In Gemini, Cassandra wears Renautas smart glasses she borrows from Alex, but in Enigma when Dhalia enounters her, Cassandra is not wearing any glasses at all.
- In Gemini during Cassandra's last encounter with Dahlia in 2008, Dahlia asks Cassandra to deal with some lasers for her and to lower a platform she can't reach, but in Enigma, neither of those things happen.
