Summary
- Nathan's plans are justified to the President.
- Sylar and Luke Campbell continue their trip towards Sylar's father.
- Claire receives a mysterious tip from "Rebel", urging her to save Alex from Noah.
- Hiro and Ando travel to India to fulfill one of Matt's paintings.
Story Development
Synopsis
Noah and his family are in the Bennet House where Noah discusses his new job as a "consultant" whilst Claire receives miscellaneous text messages from "Rebel". Claire abruptly leaves and Noah follows her. She argues with him and states that she can't act like nothing has happened and Noah states that she has to play along or else he can't protect her from them. He then tells Claire she has been enrolled into the Costa Verde Community. She receives another text message, telling her to protect "Alex" at Sam's Comics, from Rebel.
Danko is in a room discussing the measures to capture the evolved humans with a wall of photographs with pictures of them. Nathan comes in and states that the evolved humans are scared and thus even harder to capture, he requests double funding from The President with great distaste towards them.
Luke and Sylar are in the car heading west to find Samson Gray when Sylar stops the car and asks Luke where his father is. He states that his father lives in Minnesota in a Cabin. Sylar states that he's lying and Luke laughs. And then says he has an ex-wife and they had a kid who was born with a bone-disease. Sylar grabs him by the throat and states that he takes information by cutting off someone's head and tearing out their brains and Luke states that he is a serial killer, but Sylar says he isn't and wipes his forehead, and asks why he shouldn't just kill Luke now? And he states that he'll never find his father other-wise. As they drive off a camera watches on with Homeland Security loading his tracker profile and calling up locations.
Claire finds Alex Wolsley in Sam's Comics who states that she is trying to protect him from someone and he mocks her saying that Victor put her up to this for revenge. Claire cuts open her hand with a package tool and Alex stares in awe. The door opens and Claire looks to find Noah. She and Alex make a hasty retreat behind the shop before Alex walks into plain slght, Noah suggests he talk about some parking tickets outside when Claire rings up her father as a diversion, Alex smashes him over the head with a rack of comics and they retreat.
Noah tries to find them and orders a team, whilst they escape in Alex's car.
Meanwhile Hiro and Ando are in New Delhi, India, with Hiro stating that their destiny is to stop the wedding, whilst Hiro leaves, Ando looks at the picture and spots a familiar woman. He follows her and she states her name is Anabura. Ando tells her to call off the wedding and she said that she was waiting for a message from God and Ando decides to show her his power and even Ando is in awe. Hiro comes in and asks what he is doing and Anabura says that the wedding is off. Meanwhile in the office of Homeland Security Danko and Nathan meet Abby Collins and she states that she is there to keep track of everything, Nathan suggests a tour, and states funding was requested for the reinforcement of Building 26 and she states that because it's "Magic". And she states that time travelling and mind reading are fictitious. Nathan asks for her to state who she works for and she says she's his new boss.
Luke is having a laugh in a car whilst Sylar comments that if he continues to be his friend he'll kill him. Luke reveals that he likes birds, because his father liked them and wondered if that was genetic. Sylar is reminiscent of a few bad memories and Luke tells Sylar that his father sold him for money and Sylar states what sort of a father is that and why did Luke tell him out of everyone.
Meanwhile Abby finds Tracy Strauss in a heat-generated room being shackled to a chair and she states that she is not an enemy and storms out revealing that she is filing rights against Nathan.
Claire tells Alex he is on a list and it's because he has a power, he asks her what power he has and he says he could breath underwater and he's glad he met someone else who has a power because he felt like a freak. Claire states not to use the phone, credit cards and she spots a figure in a car and they run behind a bush for cover whilst a team of unknown members check their car.
Anabura and Ando are sitting at Anabura's house, she tells them her husband is a powerful man and Hiro is angered that he stole the chance to get his powers, Ando said he just found a way to save her and that he is just jealous of being his sidekick. Ando follows her husband who walked in and he knocks him over the head with a pan and carries him off.
Sylar and Luke are eating in a restaurant when Luke uses his powers on a cup causing it to erupt. Sylar tells him to stop and Luke says it was just a joke, and Sylar says he shouldn't use his powers for fun, only if there is an objective, and don't have emotions, and have motivation for what you want. Sylar reveals his motivation was for acquiring abilities and all he wants, now, is to find his father. And Sylar states he will find out from his father what has happened.
Luke gives Sylar an address and as Sylar states there's nothing to keep him from killing him now, two members of a team approach casually walking into the diner, Sylar and Luke are surrounded and Luke tries to fake it out by stating that he wants to see his mother. Luke grabs his arm and Sylar uses telekinesis to disarm the members, break a window and escape in a car, Luke states that the incident was awesome but Sylar drives off without Luke. Luke is captured and Sylar looks into a window menacingly.
Anabura states that she must marry him or else Ando will die. During the wedding Hiro stops it and knocks her fiancee down with a weapon and he calls the wedding off. Hiro then states that this is the moment in the painting and states YATAA. Claire and Noah are discussing what she was doing today, and Noah says if he can't control her then she will be in danger, and Claire states she can't be controlled.
Abby states the operation is shut down and Nathan explains why it shouldn't be. Tracy starts to escape and they go to check it out. She has a hostage but before he can escape she freezes him, and then shatters him against the wall.
Abby looks in shock whilst Tracy is disarmed and captured, she then tells Nathan he will have all the funding he needs.
Claire and Sandra are in the kitchen and asks her if she and her father have any fun at all, and Claire says he was busy, capturing innocent people and that he isn't a consultant but working with people to capture people with abilities, Sandra states The Company but she says no, something much worse. And Sandra states that that is horrible. But Claire says it is worse because they're taking anyone with an ability. Noah walks in the house and asks what is going on. Sandra says she knows what he has been doing and Noah says she has no idea, and says she has no idea how difficult it is for him. And that if he is not helping them, Claire is a target.
Tracy is shackled to the room again and Nathan states she won't escape ever again, Tracy defends herself saying that it was all a ploy to get Abbey to see her ability
Danko's team is preparing to move out when the lorry is being attacked by something unknown until it is showed that it was Sylar who removes the drug sunt from Luke and escapes with him.
In India, Ando tells Hiro was right but Hiro states he is wrong, and now he can be a hero without his powers. Anabura states that their names were similar, because a fax from Rebel came in, stating that they should "Save Matt Parkman" as being a message from Destiny.
Claire and Noah are talking and Noah states he is moving out to become a better person, father and husband, and to not tell lies. They both reconcile and it turns out Alex is taking refuge in Claire's home.
Luke thanks Sylar for rescuing him and he says he didn't come back for him but he came back for the address. Luke says he could of left him but Sylar turns on music and Luke laughs.
Nathan and Danko are discussing the evolved humans that Danko has captured, and Nathan says an innocent man had to die. Danko says he was doing it to protect the agency.
Noah is in a pub drinking beer and looking for an apartment and his vision is blurred as if he were drugged, he slowly passes out and is captured by Matt Parkman, Peter Petrelli and Mohinder Suresh.
