Connor Beach First appearance It Begins In-story stats Known ability Hydrokinesis Gender       Age 17 Significant other Rosie Pratt Parent Tamir Johnson (stepfather) Connor Beach is a surfer/college student who has recently discovered his ability. Character History It Begins Connor is revising in the library, when he is interrupted by Rosie who offers to help him; he gleefully accepts. Later the pair reunite outside the science block where Rosie anxiously reveals her ability to him. Shocked at first, but Connor demonstrates his ability to flabbergasted Rosie. The pair embrace and as they converse over other evolved humans, a shadowed man unveils himself, hearing the entire conversation. Slightly Off Track Embry spots Connor and Rosie being attacked by a weird man. Rosie lifts Connor onto the roof of the school in order to keep him out of harms way. Later Connor calls up his friend in order to find a government man Heavy Metal As Ed races out to chase the intruder, he finds Connor, Rosie, Embry and Minerva enquiring about the very person. Payback Connor is walking away from Ed's with the others, when they come across two men beating up another teenager. Connor watches as Minerva steps forward and confronts them. One of the men shoots at the group, but they are saved by Minerva using her ability to create a shield out of the earth. Hunted At a café Connor talks with Rosie about the disturbing events of recent weeks when they are confronted by a serious-looking man who tells them to move inside; the pair oblige. After shooting an employee the man finds his phone going off and exploding, killing him. To Connor and Rosie's dismay, Leckie then enters, but Connor blasts him with water before he can take their abilities, allowing he and Rosie to escape. Acquaintances Connor and Rosie reside at a local park as they are located by Leckie who uses his ability to attack the pair. Roise realises someone is using the same ability as Minerva and her and Connor spot Leckie. Using Rosie's ability she lifts her and Connor back to Connor's house and safety. Rendezvous, Part 1 Connor and Rosie land at a park after escaping Leckie. They decide it is unsafe to go to Connor's house, but after seeing Leckie across the park lake, who attempts to attack them, they change their mind and leave abruptly. However upon arrival at Connor's house, they find evidence of a break-in and Tamir missing with a note giving them a location to meet. Later Connor arrives at the dumpsite with Minerva, Rosie and Embry in an attempt to retrieve the kidnapped Tamir. They arrive and Connor demands Spiro releases Tamir, however Spiro turns the tables as reveals that Tamir was just a way to get to them, to gain his revenge and orders them to be shot. Before the four can react, Spiro's entourage open fire. Rendezvous, Part 2 To the immense suprise of two parties at the dumpsite, the bullets halted in midair before Connor and his friends. However to their immense relief Ed reveals himself, as he approaches the gang Spiro's entourage begin to fire again, Ed launches the bullets back at them in a brutal reprisal. As Ed reunites with the gang, Minerva uses her ability to prevent Spiro escaping and Connor races to the other vehicle, demanding to be taken to his step-dad. Evolved Human Abilities Connor has the ability to create and manipulate water. He has demonstrated this ability a number of times and can even produce enough water to extinguish the flames engulfing the school. He showed his ability to Rosie as he burst a nearby water pipe (It Begins) and later to douse the fire that Embry unwilling generated (Slightly Off Track). Connor has yet to demonstrate the mimicing water aspect of this ability, though being a keen surfer he may have done so unknowingly.
