Damien is a geneticist, who is searching for specials.
Character History
As Ed is searching for special abilities over the Internet, he comes across a site ran by Damien and goes to meet him.
Ed arrives and Damien is astounded to discover that he has an ability and displays his creation to Ed who is fascinated but when Damien tells him it could take months to work, he becomes violently impatient. Damien tries to explain about the complications, but Ed threatens him. However to Damien's immense relief he reconsiders and leaves.
Lying asleep in his flat, Damien is woken up by his machine emitting a loud whurring noise, he excitedly runs over to it hoping it has found an evolved human. Later at the park, he introduces himself to a man who seemed to move the ground.
Damien approaches by Leckie at the park and questions him about having an ability. Leckie is initally suspicous but Damien reveals his machine and how he can locate 'specials'. Damien demonstrates this by finding Rosie and Connor across the lake, whom Leckie proceeds to attack. Damien soon catches up with Leckie, oblivious of the encounter and Leckie tells him they have work to do.
Damien and Leckie travel to a warehouse, where they discover voices. Leckie realises that the men inside are reaching for their guns.
