Limits Ed's mother Ed's mother has used this ability once, to turn the TV off, whilst her son was watching it. (Heavy Metal) She has shown that she doesn't need physical contact with the machinery to affect it, by turning the TV off with a wave of her arm. Jake Leckie Jake Leckie absorbed this ability from Ed's mother, killing her in the process. (Heavy Metal). He has demonstrated this ability once, in malfuctioning the watch of Aaron Parsons; he did not require physical contact for this.
