This page is undergoing some major revisions by User:Janrodrigo. These will be smoothed out by User:SacValleyDweller
Smoothings that SVD thinks he needs to perform for better readability:
  • Increase visibility of primary media (Eps, GNs, Webisodes, iStory).
    • Bold the notation, add Ep for episodes
  • Long dashes ("--") between Numbers/release date, and item listed

This page outlines the order in which the media that presents the Heroes fictional universe has been released, sorted by story arc, if one is discernible or provided, or other arbitrary designations.

The media included here are listed and numbered as follows:

  • Episodes -- A season number followed by the two digit episode number.
  • Graphic Novels (GN's) -- The letters "GN" followed by their issue number.
  • Webisodes (Web)-- The word "Web" followed by a volume number, their number within the volume, and then their number out of the total webisodes produced.
  • Heroes Evolutions -- The letters "HE" followed by the following codes depending on what was released:
    • SNW -- In-character Social Networking Websites (MySpace, Habbo)
    • M -- text messages or e-mails sent to players of HE
    • S -- Web Sites or blogs, which may contain messages and infos including;
      • F -- Folders (HEF = Heroes Evolutions Folder)
      • A -- Audio files (HEA = Heroes Evolutions Audio file)
      • V -- Videos, including documentaries (HEV = Heroes Evolutions Video)
    • G -- Interactive Games
    • Books set in the Heroes universe -- The letter "B" folowed by the title of the book
    • I -- In-character Interviews
    • iStory Chapters —- The word "iStory," followed by the particular iStory volume, followed by the number of the released chapter(s).
    • IP Interactive Promotions
    • App -- Applications

A release date will accompany each entry. Any in-universe information about the media will be listed under each entry in italics. The letter "W" is added next to the web sites, meaning they are WAP sites. Whatever is aired or published for the first time, its name will be both bold and italic.

Notes

Colored media

  • On Season Three, Week 10 of CBR's Behind the Eclipse, Heroes writers Aron Coleite and Joe Pokaski confirmed that NBC used "scabs," or Non-WGA writers, to produce content during the 2008 Writers Strike without the consent or oversight of the Heroes creative staff, who were prohibited from exercising any control during the strike. This calls into question the canoncy of GN's published during this period. Suspect GNs are highlighted in the colors pink and red.
    • The canoncy of the GNs in pink is in limbo in my opinion. Their content has yet to be recognized by other media or confirmed canon/not canon by the Heroes creative staff to my satisfaction.
    • GN's in red have been confirmed not canon to my satisfaction by Coleite and Pokaski by their following statement in the afore mentioned issue of Behind the Eclipse:
...So things like the Sanjog arc or “Ben Franklin as a Hero,” that so had nothing to do with us
