Sabine then apologizes to Connie, saying she didn't know, and that she needs time to think. But an alarm then goes off in the [[Evs Dropper's cabin|cabin]], meaning that the cabin's perimeter has been breached. Connie and Sabine then also get inside a hummer and begin heading down a back exit road into the woods, leading a big convoy of hummers containing the rest of the 101 Julien clones. |

Then, on Thompson, Jr.'s order, many squad members storm the cabin, but no one is inside. Thompson, Jr. reports fresh tire tracks leading into the woods, and Gael orders him to take out Logan and the clones while Bianca and their team secure the package. |

Connie and team approach a bridge and she orders the clones out of their vehicles, and to take positions as planned. A group of the clones then blocks the road, halting the pursuit of the Company. Thompson, Jr., Donna, and the other Company agents then exit their white vans to confront them. The clones on the road use explosive weaponry to take out three Company vans on the road, and Donna and Thompson, Jr. head off the road into the woods to find Connie. |

After some searching, Donna is able to lead Thompson, Jr. towards Connie and the Julien clones. Thompson, Jr. [[the Company's guns|shoots]] one of the clones, but Connie and the other clones get the jump on them and they end up all pointing guns at each other. Then, in a surprise double-cross, Donna smacks Thompson, Jr. in the face with her gun, and he falls to the ground on his knees. He asks Donna if she's gone insane, and she replies that he has no idea. |

| After Sabine and Root Julien escaped from The Facility with help from Evs Dropper, the two were taken to a cabin deep in the woods where Sabine was introduced to an army of Julien Clones. She was also introduced to Evs Dropper... and was shocked to learn Evs is actually two people -- Connie Logan and Duplicate Julien! Not willing to be a pawn in their plan to take down The Company, Sabine tried to escape, only to be stopped in her tracks by the revelation that the Root Julien is Connie's husband! |

- Jason Badower included a number of "shout outs" in this graphic novel. He reprised his Sheindie Classics books from Root and Branch, Part 3 (a nod to Sarmy member Sheindie) with a book that Connie Logan reads called ROESian (referring to the 9thwonders.com user HERO, who is also called 'ROESian). As well, a Company agent at Evs Dropper's cabin is named Wise; this is the screen name sometimes used by 9thwonders.com poster bhero2all.
