Hey there RGS- I used to have a bunch of screencaps after the second episode of last season for speculation/trivia, but the image host I used went offline. I still have copies offline, and the various threads at a few HEROES fansites are still up, along with a trail for [http://snurl.com/HEROES_Screens HEROES Screencaps]. If you wanted to look at least at the descriptions (though there are a few), could you figure out if any of the images could/should be hosted here?
:And [http://heroeswiki.com/index.php?title=Special:Log/newusers&offset=&limit=500&type=newusers&user= this page] shows all newly created accounts, you can see which of those new accounts are the spammers and then block them all. == Re-spam ==
Also, more recently, I made [http://boards.9thwonders.com/index.php?showtopic=59626 a thread about things people may have missed in "Lizards"] (you'll need to log in at 9thW to read it, and most of my posts include a screencap), which are mainly trivial/fun/funny things I noticed while rewatching [http://boards.9thwonders.com/index.php?showtopic=59617 Lizards]. Is there a place in an episode article where some of those might fit?

Hi Ryan,<br/>It seems the spammers start again. Sorry to wake you up. I tried to write to Admin by email. I know this is the sleeping time for you. == Refrences ==
:# Pyrex could be mentioned on [[product placement]] if you want.
:# I thought about making an article for ''US Press''. It would be considered a [[Portal:Publications|publication]].
:# The article text would make for some good trivia on the page.
:# My wife and I met in theater/film classes, and we noticed the horse's behind, too. (Subtle jokes like that are fun--kind of like when Sylar cut off the top of Charlie's head while she was cutting the lid off a big can.) I don't know if the horse's behind could go anywhere, though--it's just a fun filmmaking device.
:# I suppose the sticker could be included in the gallery on [[Costa Verde High School]].
:# I noticed the locker number too (my wife hates when I rewind TiVo to check things like that out). That would make a good piece of trivia on [[Claire Bennet]] or [[CVHS]] or both.
:# I usually try to ignore continuity errors. I know people revel in them, but (with the exception of content-based errors) they've never really done anything for me.
:# It's funny that you noticed so many things that I noticed too. My wife hates feet and couldn't stand that scene (as I think most people got a little squeamish during Claire's feet feat). She said she was particularly disturbed by the sore on her toe, and I wondered how Claire could ever get a sore? Odd thing to overlook, eh?

I wanted to cite my source for edits I made to [[Gemini Formula]] but the refrences formating is not working at all. I have no clue how to fix it. --[[User:Snow Leapord|Snow Leapord]] ([[User talk:Snow Leapord|talk]]) 06:15, 28 January 2016 (EST)
* Great stuff, though. You've got a good eye, and I'd love it if you could put something together like that for each episode. Sort of a useless and fun trivia compilation for every chapter. Thanks! -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 14:44, 3 October 2007 (EDT)
* We don't use a template for references like Wikipedia. We just put the source afterwards. So it would just be something like this. (''[[Heroes Reborn: Enigma]]'') ... Where exactly are you trying to put the source? I'll take care of it if you have a hard time with it... -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 06:24, 28 January 2016 (EST)
** That's fun that ya noticed those also. If I could get a higher-resolution screencap of the Kaito article, I could transcribe more of the randomness in it. FYI- a Talkback Studios does exist, which merged with Freemantle Media (Thames) to make [http://www.talkbackthames.tv TalkbackThames]. And I sorta told ya (if you read it) my various usernames [http://boards.9thwonders.com/index.php?act=findpost&pid=455897 here]... The random sightings were enough (imo) to make a thread about it for "Lizards", and if there are enough interesting (at least to me) things in future eps, I'll probably continue making threads for TYMM (Things You Might've Missed). Just a question - why would they use a "pyrex" glass, when, in such a quick scene, any glass would do, unless it was for product placement? Anyway, in my "blog" at TVGuide, some people have also requested that I make it a weekly thing, but it would kinda depend on what I notice, unless it's something where it's a regular deal to which everyone contributes. [[User:'ROESian|&#39;ROESian]]
** I took care of it. I didn't think it looked right to leave the reference normal font size, so I shrunk it. --[[User:Snow Leapord|Snow Leapord]] ([[User talk:Snow Leapord|talk]]) 08:07, 28 January 2016 (EST)
***I hadn't read the post that came after mine. I don't check 9th Wonders as frequently as others. All that fan fiction and role playing stuff gets in the way, if you ask me. The last time I check that thread was when I posted. And you're Hiro at Tim Sale's board, eh? Didn't know that! ... I asked Tim to show us a high-res image of the latest painting (the one Noah unfurls that shows Kaito's death), but I'm afraid my post got lost in the shuffle. You might want to ask him, too. His high-res versions are always so much better than what's shown onscreen. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 14:49, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
*** I made it the normal size for standardization. Good work on the page! :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 11:23, 28 January 2016 (EST)

== Help page summaries ==
== Differences in Gemini & Enigma ==

I noticed in Enigma when Dahlia & 2014 Cassie interact that Cassie isn't wearing the Renautas smart glasses. Also in Enigma during the last meeting between Dahlia & 2014 Cassie, Dahlia doesn't have ask Cassie to do anything about the lasers or the platform she can't jump to because it is to high.
* So I think the help pages have a tendency to be a bit tl;dr. I like how [[Help:Memorable quotes]] has the little sidebar summary and I'm thinking about doing the same with the other pages where possible. Thoughts?--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 17:25, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
** Yeah, I agree. I really like that. I don't have any specific suggestions, though. However, I particularly enjoy your offbeat examples you give (Uluru's girlfriend, crackwhore, and airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow) which are always good for a chuckle. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:09, 4 October 2007 (EDT)

Should we mention the differences at all? If so where? --[[User:Snow Leapord|Snow Leapord]] ([[User talk:Snow Leapord|talk]]) 08:06, 28 January 2016 (EST)
== Theory: Preponderance of Biblical Names ==
* I noticed those same things. We usually mention continuity errors in the Notes section of the page. :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 10:26, 28 January 2016 (EST)
** You could also mention them to developer support at http://phosphorgames.com/blog/connect/ as Phosphor might decide to fix them if they decide to release a new edition of the games.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 11:30, 28 January 2016 (EST)
**RGS should it be mentioned on both games or just one game? If only one game which? --[[User:Snow Leapord|Snow Leapord]] ([[User talk:Snow Leapord|talk]]) 12:01, 28 January 2016 (EST)
*** Both since it's an error that affects both. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 12:39, 28 January 2016 (EST)

== Re: New Season ==
The preponderance of characters with Biblical names is something I noticed early on and has been mentioned in a few places, but only once here: [[:Theory:Powers in general|powers are from a higher power]]. Would it be appropriate to create a dedicated theory article to the naming phenomenon? -- [[User:FissionChips|FissionChips]] 19:16, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
* Check out the [[faith and religion]] article. There's a bit of documentation on it there already. By the way, I like your name. hehe. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 19:24, 4 October 2007 (EDT))
** Well, there it is, then. I swear I looked first! I suppose for a theory page to be warranted for an identified similarity there would have to ''be'' a theory. (Thanks on the name. [[User:FissionChips#The_Name|Stolen]] fair and square.) -- [[User:FissionChips|FissionChips]] 20:31, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
*** Admin provided a great link. I think some theorizing beyond what is written as documentation on that page wouldn't be a bad idea. For instance, it would be inappropriate to put something like "Noah is named such because he is responsible for gathering evolved humans" on a main namespace page, but it would be great on a page like "Theory:faith and religion" or "User:FissionChips/name phenomenon". I'm curious to see what you come up with. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:15, 4 October 2007 (EDT)

Hey Ryan -- neat trick. I added template:S1 and template:S2 to the new navbar subtemplates. They allow us to see a list of season one and season two characters separately. Should make it easier to figure out who isn't in the portals yet.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 02:21, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
* Only now it's not working. Crap. It was working when I only had S1. Hmm. Lemme think.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 02:22, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
**I don't get it--what was it supposed to do? Why wasn't it working? -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 02:35, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
*** I had linked to a template from each of the subtemplates. That was supposed to make the what links here page of each fake template produce a list of characters by season. It worked perfectly with one template for season one (it only linked the season one characters), but as soon as I added the second template, everybody showed up in both lists. So I changed them to categories, which is probably better. Of course, everybody's sorted by first name in those cats, and adding sort logic defeats the purpose of making it all happen automagically in the navbar. Oh well. At least we have a [[:category:Season Two Characters|list of season two characters]] now to compare against the portals.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 03:37, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
****Oh, well....Regarding the autosort, I added <nowiki>{{DEFAULTSORT:}}</nowiki> logic to [[template:character box]] which is supposed to use the sort entered as the sort for any category on the page (unless another sort is specified for a particular category). It was working beautifully before, but it suddenly stopped working. I'm wondering, now, whether it's a bug that crept in with the upgrade. (Am I making any sense at all?) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 03:43, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
*****Hmmm. And everybody has a character box, and the key ones should have a <nowiki>{{{sortname}}}</nowiki>. Weird. Does this coincide with the upgrade? That would have to be my first guess.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 03:47, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
****** Actually, I went through and gave a sortname to everybody who needed a sortname. I'm not sure about the upgrade. Check out the [[sandbox]]--all the categories are sorting properly, event when the category comes through a template. I'm not understanding. I wonder if my code is wrong and I'm missing something, because right now, the sandbox is working, even when there is a cat through a template, ''and'' when the defaultsort logic comes through a template. Dunno, dunno. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 03:48, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
******* Oddly enough, simplifying the code a bit seems to have fixed it (so far, I haven't looked too closely). That, or it was the unclosed includeonly. One of the two.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 03:56, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
******** Thanks. And [[:Category:Season Two Characters]] seems to be working fine now, sorting by last name. Nice work. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 03:58, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
********* I can't imagine why either of the two things I changed would make a difference, though. Oh well. BTW, when did we get a category for cheerleaders? It makes sense, but it still made me laugh.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 04:01, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
********** Sometime around ''[[Betty, Part 1]]'''s release. There were so many danged cheerleaders, I thought it could use a category. Cute, eh? By the way, when you add <nowiki>{{{sortname|{{PAGENAME}}}}}</nowiki>, does that act as an <nowiki>{{#if: }}</nowiki> statement? Give me the rundown on how that syntax works. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 04:03, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
*********** Basically, any time you use a variable, you can always pipe a default value to it. That's why a lot of the templates have the variables like this: <nowiki>{{{age|}}}</nowiki>. That defaults age to blank. <nowiki>{{{age|32}}}</nowiki> would default age to 32, and <nowiki>{{{name|{{PAGENAME}}}}}</nowiki> would default name to <nowiki>{{PAGENAME}}</nowiki>. If the variable is blank or not specified, it will use the default.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 04:07, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

== Season Characters descriptions ==
* Sorry, I must have missed this message... -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 16:09, 18 February 2016 (EST)
Also: can you think of better descriptions for the [[:category:Season One Characters|characters]] by [[:category:Season Two Characters|season]] categories? They don't sound quite right to me. What I was trying to get across was that season one characters have only appeared in season one, and season two characters have appeared (but not necessarily debuted) in Season Two. My brain is down for the count, though.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 04:07, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
* Right, it took me a second to understand how the categories worked--for instance, I saw [[Nathan]] as a [[:category:Season Two Characters|season 2 character]], but not as a [[:category:Season One Characters|season one character]]. It took me a second, and a more exact name would be better. I can't think of anything that's short and succinct, though. I mean, "Characters unique to Season One" would work, I suppose, or "Characters last seen in Season One" works too, but they both sound clunky. I'm at a loss for anything better. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 04:19, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
** I labeled it "latest season" on the navbar, and that seems to work. Maybe some variant on that? "The following are '''characters whose latest appearance is in Season One'''"?--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 04:53, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
***I think the navbar wording is fine. (Great idea, by the way!) I think the lead description on the actual category page should probably use the wording you suggested above. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 04:56, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

==Extra Help in sections==
== Damen Peak ==
*This might seem like a stupid idea but I'll present it anyway. I thought maybe that each section: characters, powers, production, fan creations etc. Each section could have one or two or however many needed be in charge of updating each page. Obviously one peron updating all characters would not work. It didn't work well for the Articles of Confederation either. So maybe we could have four or five people helping out more with updating characters, maybe two people updating powers. You get what I'm saying, right? And I don't mean AT ALL, not at all any person gets a sysop rank. That is totally not what I mean. But I think this idea, if you like it could really help get rid of stubs. Then if new web surfers stumble upon this site they won't see stubs all over the main characters. If it is something like [[Nissica]], it isn't that big of a deal but Season One summaries I think should really be updated. The examples I used aren't really the exact ones I'm' proposing but something similar to that. See ya later! [[User:Jason Garrick|Jason Garrick]] 22:00, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
**Thanks for the suggestion, Jason, and no, it's not at all a stupid idea. I've actually thought the same thing. :) It's awesome that you're thinking of ways to improve the wiki, not only for yourself, but for new users and casual browsers. I really appreciate that you're also suggesting ways in which we can organize ourselves better. However, I have a few concerns with delegating certain types of articles to people which I'll share with you. We all have different styles of editing, and I'd hate to see all the fan creations, for instance, written in a particular style, and not edited by others. Also, I know that when I'm doing a bunch of character summaries, I tend to get really bored--I enjoy the fact that on any given day I might write a few summaries, create a new article about a place, add a theory about Uluru, update some portals, and top off the day by linking to a reference. I enjoy that I can edit any article I want. I also like that with a wiki, everybody has equal say in what happens. It doesn't matter if I'm a sysop, you're a long-time user, or somebody else is brand new, we all can edit and we all have an equal say in how the wiki shapes up. That said, a lot of us here tend to have "pet" articles we like to update. I'm a big fan of getting to character and actor portals. I know [[User:Ted C|Ted C]] really enjoys tweaking powers pages until they're just right. Some people take great pride in starting pages about locations, and others are really great at new character pages. But I'm afraid of "assigning" types of pages to different people, if I'm understanding what it is you're suggesting. I say, if there are a lot of [[:Category:stubs|stubs]] and they're really bugging you, feel free to knock a few out. I hope that answers your question. :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 22:18, 9 October 2007 (EDT)

Hey, so we have been terrible at keeping the website up to date! lol, but I just made the 3 parts for the Damen Peak webisodes. If you could help me out some by uploading photos and summaries, that would be great. Right now, the portal has the standard picture for all 3 of them....so that's a problem... {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 18:20, 18 February 2016 (EST)
==Character Stubs==
* Sure. That will have to wait until this weekend or later though. I don't have my computer with me that can easily edit images. :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 20:22, 18 February 2016 (EST)
*Obviously a lot of stubs on character eps are still to be tackled so am I allowed to copy and paste info from the synopsis epps in the episode page? or should I write my own summary about the characters part? For example: Noah has Lizards and Kindred stubbed. So can we copy and paste the synopsis info from the episode into his page? Lemme know. Otherwise tonight I'm probably going to watch the episodes again anyway. This is just so if more episodes are coming out and the stubs aren't being eliminated quicker I want new users and fans that might have missed an episode to quickly check out what happened. [[User:Jason Garrick|Jason Garrick]] 22:08, 13 October 2007 (EDT)
**Awesome! I don't know who wrote and directed the first and last ones (I took the names from the second and put them on all three)...With this, we don't have actors for Jim and Lilly...We need episode pictures and title pictures as well as image-nav things...Do the ability pages need updating?...Do I need to attach URLs to the videos on NBC website?....I updated the checklist. So only the things listed on DP, Part 2 that aren't checked are what we still need to do. {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 09:57, 19 February 2016 (EST)
** The episode synopses are generally too detailed for the character pages. What I generally do when I'm filling in a character page is copy the info from the synopsis, just to make sure I don't forget anything, and then trim it down so that it's more compact (and more focused on the individual character).--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 23:34, 13 October 2007 (EDT)
*** Whole thing was written and directed by the same people. No known actors for Jim or Lilly unfortunately. I've done some digging and can't figure it out. (A lot of the crew that I'm in contact with didn't even know that these web exclusives even existed...) I'll work on episode pictures this weekend. I think the ability page for [[persuasion]] has already been updated, but we could use some more images. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:40, 19 February 2016 (EST)
***Okay, thanks man! [[User:Jason Garrick|Jason Garrick]] 12:01, 14 October 2007 (EDT)
***Yeah, generally, I do the same thing. I use the episode summary as a resource to remind myself of what occurred in the episode. (I also might rewatch a certain scene, or I'll use [http://www.kilohoku.com/heroes.html the transcripts] or [http://www.heroes-pictures.com/index.php?cat=22 screencaps] to help jog my memory.) There's no hard and fast rule, but I personally don't think that a character summary ever needs to be more than two paragraphs long--three if the character is a main focus (like any of the Bennets in ''[[Company Man]]''). -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 20:38, 14 October 2007 (EDT)

== Haitian and Mohinder ==
== Vengeance ==

Hey, just wondering about the Issues portal. Who were the Vengeances centered around? We have it as "El Vengador" who technically isn't a person....Is there someone else that we can put on that? {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 16:41, 26 February 2016 (EST)
*.. I thought the Haitian erased his memory, so Mohinder ended up with Bob and not knowing how he got there? :S --{{User:Lost Soul/sig}} 13:26, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
* I think keeping it as El Vengador is fine, since it was about both Oscar and his grandfather, as well as the idea of being El Vengador. It reminds me of the Evs Dropper comics in that way, in that Evs wasn't a single person either. But to answer your question, the comics are all told from Oscar's perspective. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 18:32, 26 February 2016 (EST)
** There's actually no evidence of it happening, aside from the special effects. However, when Mohinder's talking to Bennet on the phone, he seems to recall the plan put in place.--[[User:Baldbobbo|Bob]] 13:33, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
** Read ''[[The Crossroads]]''. There's pretty strong evidence to suggest that Mohinder "not knowing how he got there" with Bob is part of the whole setup to get the Haitian to Costa Verde. Sure it's possible Mohinder was mindwiped, but there's simply nothing that concretely says it (and I'm tending to believe that he ''wasn't''). -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 13:42, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
***Okay. I don't read the Graphic Novels - maybe I should - so didn't know that. So you're saying maybe Mohinder willingly pretended that he didn't know how he got there with Bob? But how would that get the Haitian to Costa Verde? Maybe I'm being thick here, and if so, I'm sorry... --{{User:Lost Soul/sig}} 13:45, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
****It's explained in ''[[The Crossroads]]''.--[[User:Baldbobbo|Bob]] 13:58, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
***Before the novel came out I figured his memory had been wiped based on the camera effect. If it hadn't then it was a peculiar choice of camera effect which seeming was done to convey a Mohinder's perspective of going from talking to The Haitian to suddenly talking with Bob. After the novel came out I remember questioning that original assertion. I'll have to read it again to see whether it's clear that Mohinder still remembered the encounter. If he didn't get his mind erased then it may have been a misunderstanding somewhere because the intended effect in the episode would be somewhat inconsistent with the graphic novel. Though I wouldn't want to try arguing whether an ambiguous camera effect in an episode trumps a graphic novel in terms of canonicity. :) ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 14:04, 15 October 2007 (EDT))
**** They talk about the camera effect in the [[episode commentary]] quite a bit. I found it odd at the time that they chose to focus on how it was used to show the passage of time (with the sun going down and coming up) and not about the Haitian's mindwipe, which I also assumed was what was going on. But then ''Crossroads'' came out and it became clear that, at the very least, Mohinder didn't get his mind wiped immediately (since he has a conversation with the Haitian not seen in the episode) and likely not at all (there's certainly no mention of him doing it or preparing to do it and, well, a conversation he's about to wipe out seems kind of pointless). That, in turn, made me think back to the commentary, which now made sense. The visual effect ''is'' merely to show the passage of time, but it's intended to trick you into thinking he's been mindwiped. Then, when they reveal at the end that he's in league with the Haitian, you're supposed to gather that he hasn't been from the fact that he remembers enough about what happened to at least know that there was a plan, that the Haitian is on his way to Bennet, and that Bob fell for it. That's my take, at least.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 14:11, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
*****I agree. I think the peculiar camerawork was intended to trick the audience in a way that mirrors Mohinder's trick on Bob. In the end, for the purposes of our site, it's too ambiguous to say one way or another that his memory was erased. It's best to use likewise ambiguous language, like "Bob believed the Haitian erased Mohinder's memory" or "The Haitian was cured and his power was restored" or "Mohinder seemd to have no recollection of the conversation." -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 14:18, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

== I play Cindy the Cheerleader on Heroes Zeroes ==

Hey, so there is a lot still to do here for Heroes Reborn and I was wondering if you, me, and maybe some others would like to devote the next couple of weeks to getting it all up to speed. So I'm suggesting this week we really go hard on getting the episode pages done. Summaries, Plots, MQs, etc. You think we can encourage others to help us?
Hey Ryan,

MQ on 501, Synopsis on 506, MQ on 507, Synopsis and MQ on 508, Summary Synopsis and MQ on 509, Synopsis and MQ on 510, Story Dev and Synopsis on 511, Synopsis and Title Card on 512, Synopsis and Title Card on 513. As well, images from the episodes in the Synopsis' on all episodes.
I play Cindy the Cheerleader on Heroes Zeroes. I took my fist outta my mouth long enough to write this. Matt @ NBC said u might want to interview me. Luv to hear from u--Diana. PS- my myspace is myspace.com/hogwartsdetention. Heroes and Harry Potter fans alike, love u all!!
* Sounds interesting. Ryan, you up for it? :) ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 14:06, 15 October 2007 (EDT))
**Very interesting, "Cindy the Cheerleader"! I'm assuming you've checked out our article about ''[[Zeroes]]''. I'd love to talk to you about the video and some other aspects of the production of the spoof. (One of my favorites, by the way.) What's the best way to contact you? I'll contact you on MySpace later tonight after work (from home, where I can access MySpace). Otherwise, you can drop me an email at ryangibsonstewart@heroeswiki.com -- that's probably the best way to get ahold of me. I look forward to speaking with you! :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 14:11, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
***Hehe. Hey Diana. This is XanderGreenRanger28, the guy on youtube that asked you about the interview. So glad that you can do it! Uh Ryan, do you want to do the interview or do you want me. Cause Matt said he'll contact the other two leads to see if they want to do the interview also. So I'll wait for your consent. Wooo, tonights heroes![[User:Jason Garrick|Jason Garrick]] 17:17, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
****Hey, Jason. I emailed Diana and I'm going to send her some questions a little later this week. I'm not sure it'll be a "full" interview, but certainly she'll have a lot of good information for us about ''[[Zeroes]]''. If you'd like to do an interview, that's cool. I added a little section [[Talk:Zeroes#Interview questions|at this link]] for people to submit any questions they might have. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 17:37, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
***** If Jason's planning on doing a full interview then we could save the questions for him to ask instead. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 17:52, 15 October 2007 (EDT))
****** Sounds right to me. Wanna take the lead, Jason? -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 17:55, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
******* Yes sure! Um. I'll wait a week to see if the cast members are interested also and by that time I'm sure other people will have submitted questions. If they don't get back I'll just send the questions in a few days to Diana and post it on the Zeroes page. Also, if other production members of it DO want to answer questions, should we make another page for it?[[User:Jason Garrick|Jason Garrick]] 18:12, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
******** If you get responses from a couple of cast members and people involved in production, I'd personally say one article ("Interview:Zeroes") would be sufficient. I think it's better to have one strong article chock full of information than a couple of weaker articles--especially for such a minor part of the ''[[Heroes]]''verse. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 18:18, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
*********Yeah, so if I have 2 or 3 people I'd say one page would be fine. If only Diana wants to do it, I'll add it on another section of the Zeroes page. [[User:Jason Garrick|Jason Garrick]] 18:33, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
********** Good plan. Let me know if you need any help. I'll email Diana later. If you want me to cc you on the email, send me your email address--mine is ryangibsonstewart@hotmail.com . -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 19:24, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
***********Okay, I'd appreciate that. thanks. The email I'm registered with is really complicated (has to do with a Lego item) so you can email me at jaymcconnell28@yahoo.com [[User:Jason Garrick|Jason Garrick]] 20:52, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

{{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 15:47, 29 February 2016 (EST)
== Schoolteacher. ==
* Totally agree. Sounds like a plan. I am pretty busy intermittently in the next few weeks with work and other commitments. But I help out wherever I can when I get a chance. I know you have a hard time doing pictures, so if there are any images you need, just drop a note on my page I'd be glad to get them for you when I get a chance. FYI, title cards for 512 and 513 don't exist. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 17:38, 29 February 2016 (EST)

== Season Summary ==
Just wondering why on each page to mention her so far has it written like that, rather than "School Teacher." Also, who says she's a teacher and not an aide? ;) Kidding. --[[User:Riddler|Riddler]] 23:27, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
*That's just how she's credited, I believe...Actually, I've seen it both ways. Either is acceptable. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:28, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
**Just seemed odd to me, but I don't always check the credits. Sorry to bug.--[[User:Riddler|Riddler]] 23:30, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
***No bug at all. It's good to be questioned. Plus, we should probably have a redirect, anyway. I want to avoid calling her "Monty and Simon's teacher" though, because we really don't know if she is. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:45, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

Hey, I realize this is kind of forward looking, but I was updating the Season History templates in case we get another installment and need to do a Reborn portion. I am having difficulties with three things:
== Rogue Graphic Novel ==
1) When I type "Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn" it does not take me to the button that says "New season summary page"
* Seen it yet? I'm at a loss as to what to do with it. See [[Derek]] and [[Talk:Derek]].--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 05:22, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
2) If I were to put it on the original page as <nowiki>{{season summary|season=Reborn}}</nowiki>, then the link appears as <nowiki>[[Noah Bennet/Season Reborn|Noah Bennet: Season Reborn History]]</nowiki>
**I'm checking it out right now while eating breakfast. I don't have much time this morning. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 05:23, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
3) On the top of the Season archive footer template, it will normally link to the previous season history if their is one and I can't seem to work it with the Reborn part
*** Breakfast? *Looks at clock*. Oops, I did it again.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 05:24, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
**** Nice going, Britney. :) I'll respond on [[Talk:Derek]]. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 05:32, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
Can you help me with these couple things? Thanks, {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 15:50, 10 March 2016 (EST)
* The "new season summary page" is set up to appear when the title "/Season" appears in the subpagename. I can make a workaround for the few individual pages. I don't think we need to do any major structural changes since this really only affects Noah and maybe a handful of other characters. If there's another iteration of ''Heroes'', then we can cross that bridge later. :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:44, 10 March 2016 (EST)
** Actually, I think the biggest issue is that there was a misspelling on the archive page. It said "Rebron" instead of Reborn" so I don't think it was pulling the info correctly... Also, on Noah's main page, I didn't use the template, I just wrote the info, which works... -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 00:13, 11 March 2016 (EST)
*** Oh, okay. I wasn't meaning that we do it now. It was mainly just to smooth the bridges later incase we needed to. It shows the category at the bottom of Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn ''Category:Season Reborn Histories''. I have tried to work around it, but I don't quite understand the if exist or page name templates and how I can utilize that to work. {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 07:48, 11 March 2016 (EST)
**** The "if exist" command just means that if the page exists on the wiki, do whatever it says to do. So something like <tt><nowiki>{{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }}</nowiki></tt> means that if there is a page called "Peter Petrelli" on the wiki, link it. If not, don't link it. That command would show up as {{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }}. Something like <tt><nowiki>{{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }}</nowiki></tt> would show up as just {{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }}. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:05, 11 March 2016 (EST)
**** I fixed the category issue. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:23, 11 March 2016 (EST)
*** Is there a way for me to edit the MediaWiki:Newarticletext page to have the New Season Summary page button appear if it says ''Heroes Reborn''? {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 08:22, 11 March 2016 (EST)
**** No, only admins can edit MediaWiki pages. I'll take care of it. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:06, 11 March 2016 (EST)

== G4 ==

Hey,
Very cool news. So ''Heroes'' is going to be airing on G4 beginning November 3rd. ([http://www.nbcumv.com/distribution/release_detail.nbc/nbcuniversaltelevisiondistribution-20071011000000-nbcuniversaldomest.html ''See the press release''].) There will also be a half hour interactive post show immediately following each episode. Well, G4 contacted me about being on the show as a host to "talk about Heroes plot points, rumors, speculation, and general knowledge". The interviews would be hosted by Kevin Pereira, Blair Butler, and a different cast member each week, apparently. They will also have a live audience each week: "We would love to have members from your site attend to see the show as well as the cast and crew of Heroes." How cool is that! -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 00:01, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
* Coincidentally, I was on G4 once back when it was TechTV. I will not mention in what capacity as it's fairly embarrassing.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 00:07, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
**I caught a few viewings of TechTV, but wasn't very familiar with it. I've seen G4 quite a few times, and I think ''Heroes'' will really do well for the station. Plus, how cool is it that they are going to basically have open interviews with cast and crew members! I'm excited to see how this develops. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 00:10, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
*** Should be fun!--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 00:13, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
**Ah, aha. Found it. Embarrassing indeed. :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 00:21, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
**I've found plenty of info on it, but no video clips. I used to watch TechTV from time to time I wonder if I saw the episode and just dont remember it. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 00:24, 18 October 2007 (EDT))
***Oh, I definitely need to see a video, Hardvice. C'mon, spill it! :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 00:29, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
**** oh very well. Youtube.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 02:00, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
* I just now read your original posting, Ryan. That's so awesome. I'd totally go out there. Do you think you'll go? ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 01:41, 18 October 2007 (EDT))
** It's very cool. My part will be by webcam, so I won't be doing any traveling. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 07:03, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my [[User:Iheartheroes|userpage]], I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. Hopefully if we all work together and can narrow down where we can help, we can finish this soon.
== Travelling to G4? ==
* So where exactly will G4 be filming? Los Angeles? Vancouver? Both? Elsewhere? Did they mention complementary flights or at least free tickets? Come on... spill the details. ;)--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 01:31, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
** When I was on TechTV, they just mailed me a webcam.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 01:41, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
*** Webcam only? Them saying they are going to be have a "live audience" each week and their desire for "having members of [our] site attend" seem to suggest otherwise. Hrm.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 01:47, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
**** Well, they do often have live audiences. But it's usually just locals and people that travel on their own dime.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 01:48, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
***** I'll so be there sporting my Heroes Wiki t-shirt. Hey, Ryan, they want a co-host? :) ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 01:50, 18 October 2007 (EDT))
****** Makes sense that would usually just have locals, and them being cheap (but we can dream, can't we? LOL). However, they should totally pay Ryan's travel expenses and give him a monetary stipend as incentives if they want him to co-host.<br>PS: I wonder what the odds are that G4 would do a ''Heroes'' show in Miami (10 to 1?). I've probably better odds at meeting Jason Badower in the Miami Convention Center one day...--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 01:59, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
******* I don't think it's about them being "cheap", it's just more fitting with the style they are trying to achieve, I imagine. When G4 contacted me, they told me they were approaching people who were active on ''Heroes'' fansites. I don't know exactly how they got my name, I imagine it was from an interview or something. I know they also asked Rob from [http://www.theheroeschronicles.com/ The Heroes Chronicles]. I'd imagine people like Craig from [http://herosite.net/ HeroSite] were also asked. The idea is that it's very fan-driven. I would not turn down a stipend, of course (hey, I live off a teacher's salary, afterall), but I really like that the feel is much more about fans being granted a chance to talk with cast and crew. They offered to send me a webcam, which is very nice. The post show is also going to be a weekly thing, so it would be silly for them to fly me out each week. I'm very happy to do it from my home. As for the live audience, yes, there will be one each week. If someone is able to fly out, I'm pretty sure they'd be able to be in the studio audience--I'll find out specifics soon. Admin, I'll ask if they're still looking for other hosts--it'd be great to have you on board! -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 07:13, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
******** Well, it's "cable" so supposedly G4 should have more money to spend on their programs (thus the free webcams). As for being "cheap", I just meant that they are on a budget so it makes sense they have to have some limits. As for the live audience, it would be great to know the specifics, at least as to where it will be filmed if anyone wanted to attend. As for hosts/co-hosts, if you are going to be doing it for the rest of the season, I can see them possibly wanting to fly you out for at least one of the shows (maybe the finale?). As for doing it each week for their hosts, that would not be unprecedented. For football, the networks fly their hosts to many places around the country in order to cover the games. I know "Heroes" isn't as big as the NFL, but I'm just giving an example. Anyways, it's very cool that they asked you to host, Ryan, and you definately deserve the stipend if they offered it to you. I'm guessing you already plan on saying yes? :)--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 10:42, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
********* I had the initial contact from G4 offering a hosting position to me. I left a message asking details (some of the same things you addressed above) and I'm sure I'll hear back sometime today or this evening. So long as the time commitments aren't outrageous (which I can't see it being more than an hour or so a week), then of course I'll say yes. It'll be a good opportunity to chat with some cast and crew members, maybe get some nagging questions answered, get a bit of a more in-depth look into insights on the show, and it'll be good promotion for Heroes Wiki hopefully. This is a very smart move by G4. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 11:20, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
********** No extra co-hosts are needed, but rest assured I asked. :) Filming is in Southern California. If somebody wants to be there, let me know, and I can get you into the studio no problem. I can't say too much more than what's listed in the [http://www.g4tv.com/heroes/splash.aspx press release] on G4's website, but I can say it'd be worth the trip if you can afford it. Also, if traveling is not an option, then there are other options available through [http://www.stickam.com/profile/heroesong4 Stickam]. My contact at G4 says, "G4 viewers can take part in a live and interactive post-show after each episode where fans will be able to use web cams and instant messaging to join in a live discussion, voice their opinions and provide theories on how future episodes will play out." I'm really curious to see how this affects the ''Heroes'' fan community. By the way, see [[Heroes Wiki talk:Community Portal#G4 Post Show|here]] for more detailed information. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:55, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

Hey, do you by chance have Godsend, Part 4? I noticed today that there wasn't a page for it yet, so I made one but I do not have a copy of it, so I cannot put any actual information on it. {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 18:45, 11 July 2016 (EDT)
== need my own sandbox ==
* Yes, I have it. I was actually coming here to update the site in preparation for Part 5 which comes out tomorrow. :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 10:04, 12 July 2016 (EDT)

**Awesome! I am seeing that part 5 comes out on July 20 {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 11:41, 13 July 2016 (EDT) https://www.comixology.com/Heroes-Godsend-5/digital-comic/376810
Yesterday, I created a page in the [[Heroes Wiki:Sandbox]], and made a personal subpage out of it using the move tool. I probably bunged up the sandbox in the process, though, and I dont want to do that again when I need to do something like that again. I don't know how else to create a personal subpage. so can I get a sandbox of my own to use for that purpose and a link to said creation in my main userpage, please? thanks!--[[User:SacValleyDweller|SacValleyDweller]] 19:26, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
*** Yep, they moved the date... -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:42, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
* Okay, I created a sandbox for you. The link is [[User:SacValleyDweller/Sandbox]]. Don't worry about bunging up the site sandbox, I took care of it for you. I moved it back so it would preserve the history (there's things I've done in there way back when that I like to go back and check every once in awhile). I then recreated the dubious canon page you made--the link is [[User:SacValleyDweller/Non or Dubious Canon‎]]. By the way, in the future, if you ever want to create a subpage for yourself, it's pretty simple. Just type in the name you want for the page (User:SacValleyDweller/Example, for instance) into the search bar, hit "go", then click the red link. Or, you can create a red link on your userpage, click the red link, then start editing away. If you ever need help, don't hesitate to ask. :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 19:36, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
**thank you very much, Ryan--[[User:SacValleyDweller|SacValleyDweller]] 22:49, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

== Optimized release order ==

I took a stab with my new subpage creating skills at optimizing your release order subpage for at-a-glance use: [[User:SacValleyDweller/Release Order Optimized]]. What do you think?--[[User:SacValleyDweller|SacValleyDweller]] 23:39, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
* Yeah, that's cool. My main purpose for the page is so I know which graphic novels come between which episodes. This particularly comes in handy when I'm trying to do long character histories and am trying to squeeze GN summaries in between episode summaries. The format is very plain on my page because it's purely a reference for me and nothing else. I like your page a lot. If you want to really spiff it up, you might think about a big table or adding images--that'd ''really'' optimize the page! -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:43, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
**I dont have the time, the know-how, or the need to do so for what Im using it for, but if you want to do that, by all means feel free :). Heck, this would be handy for everyone that uses this site, and the site in general for that matter. --[[User:SacValleyDweller|SacValleyDweller]] 00:10, 19 October 2007 (EDT)

== Content I'd like to add==

* So what kind of info is accepted/acceptable wanted here? For instance, last season, I made an [http://boards.9thwonders.com/index.php?showtopic=54598 Episode Reference Guide] of a lot of the "official" content available at nbc grouped together by episode/week of release. It's in various forms at a few forums, and I liked [http://snurl.com/HEROES_ERG this version at HEROES-TV] which gave me some more freedom to make it more "lean" (except for the various edit timestamps). I haven't updated it much, and it seems people aren't interested in it, but I first made it for my own reference, 'cuz I wanted to organize the info that way. I'll be updating it sometime soon, for the content over the summer and this year. I've also attempted to keep a record of [http://boards.9thwonders.com/index.php?showtopic=3245 HEROES swf ads] and [http://snurl.com/HEROES_Promos HEROES Promos], which include various multimedia promotions for HEROES. Do you all list the [http://snurl.com/HEROES_GNEE Graphic Novel Easter Eggs] (I added a question about that in the discussion for your Order of Release subpage)? Ever since I found out they were available, I made a point to list 'em, again just because I wanted them all in one place. And with HEROES Evolutions media, which includes videos or swf files, I like knowing the original url and also making mirrors of the content, like the Corinthian demo vid (which was reverted to the official link), which I feel helps readers know what the content looks like that is being described (as it is in a wiki). Also, if ya notice, the second version of the swf Suresh map has been removed from nbc, so, in the pertinent section, I added a link which is still active so readers can still access the original content, instead of just seeing a static screenshot. Last, is there a place where people can refer to to find some new HEROES Scoop? I'm sure people bookmark sites after a while, but if a person were at a new computer, having the links all in one spot is sometimes appreciated. I have made a few threads in various forums with links for the HEROES Scoop, and [http://snurl.com/HEROES_Scooop this is the rather unorganized version at 9thW]. If any of this content can be added to the wiki, I'll help add it, if you wish. Thanks! [[User:'ROESian|&#39;ROESian]]
** The graphic novel easter eggs are all linked to from the individual graphic novel articles. It's in the infobox at the top. The episode info from NBC, barring any copyright concerns, should be on the Spoiler page for an episode I believe. I don't know if we're preserving that content after each episode airs, but that's where it's usually presented first. Concerning the Corinthian video we should link to the official source for now, but should they ever remove it then it'd be acceptable to link to an alternate source at that time. As for "Heroes scoop", what are you thinking? Links to particular Heroes news sites, or links to Heroes related articles? We have the information that's on [[Template:News]], but I always feel that could be kept more up to date than it is currently. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 04:05, 20 October 2007 (EDT))
*** Thank you for the reply. What about the other content you did not address? Is it worth adding, if it hasn't already been done? I really haven't looked at the whole site to get a feel for how things are organized here too; some things are not where I intuitively expect them to be, or things I think are related aren't connected/mentioned, or I don't know where to look for or search for some things. And knowing there are over almost 2,000 articles just sounds like a mess. I guess that could be from knowing that not all of the submitted stuff isn't like some 3d modeling programs to which I'm accustomed, where new additions become parametrically linked, if that makes sense. You can't make a change without anything relying on that information also uniformly updating in some modeling programs, so everything's on the same page. Are there too many variables in the information provided to keep all the information uniform? For instance, do the episode pages automatically link to their relevant episode spoiler page? Or can the images from the episode galleries at nbc, once they are available, be linked to the relevant episode pages here? I think there should be a connection, since they are referring to the same episode. I do want to help; I just would like to get a feel for how what I do can make a difference. I usually do not refer to wikipedia info, but instead go to sites which are either official or dedicated to sharing the information I'm looking for, just 'cuz I don't know who's sharing the information in wikis, or what their agenda may be. But I at least know that people here are concentrating on providing HEROES info, so I'm less apt to be wary of the content here. I just want to know that if I make a contribution, it actually is useful. The dynamic nature of information that's shown just seems different to me. I might look for information and think it says something helpful, and then later, only by looking at the history of the page will I still see the content. So, I guess I'm still asking questions about content to add and also sharing my concerns about what I think about wikis, all at once, just 'cuz I think the whole accounting of every action is different, so the fewer the actions in the list, the better... [[User:'ROESian|&#39;ROESian]]
**Great stuff as always, 'ROES. A few random replies. I didn't see your reply on my [[User:Ryangibsonstewart/Order of Release|order of release page]]--it becomes increasingly difficult for me to check every edit to the wiki, and I don't have any of my subpages added to my [[special:watchlist|watchlist]]. A bit of history on that page: it's just a reference I made for myself, mostly for when we were adding the GN histories to the body of the character pages, simply so I could know which episodes to squeeze the GNs between. I haven't even been keeping it up recently--others have been graciously doing that for me. As for a list of Easter Eggs, I don't personally see the value in it being all on one page, but then again, I usually just check the EE while reading the graphic novel, and never refer to it again. Occasionally I'll use a behind the scenes image, and the lineart pages were quite nice, but I still never refer to them again. If you wanted to make a user subpage that listed them all, feel free--in fact, it might be pretty easy to do using some of the Winter codes....As for new ''Heroes'' scoop, we are seriously lacking in regularly updating our [[template:news|news]] page. Granted, a lot of times when there's a bit of news, we just add an article for it if it's noteworthy enough (see ''[[Heroes: The Mobile Game]]'', the [[Graphic Novel Collection]], ''[[Saving Charlie]]'', etc.). And we have, I feel, a terrific list of [[season two spoilers]]. But for general news, we could use some help....As for our [[:category:archived spoilers|archived spoilers]], I think we only have pages for episodes after ''[[Homecoming]]''. No, we don't link to the spoiler pages from the episode page after the episode airs, but [[:Category:Archived spoilers|this link]] is a good place to find them all. I'm not a big fan of archiving spoilers after the episode airs because, well, they're no longer spoilers. I also am not a big fan of the NBC descriptions because they're sometimes inaccurate, and they're often just pretty lame. So I don't put a lot of value in those archived spoiler pages, but yet they exist on the site in case anybody wants to peruse them. I suppose a link on the episode page wouldn't hurt, I just personally don't see the benefit, especially when our episode pages are already pretty good resources of what actually aired. <p>All that said, what I'm gleaning for your original post is that you have terrific resources, a good eye for details, and lots of information to share (which I know mostly from reading your posts at 9th Wonders). I'm also hearing that you're not quite sure how to best wield that information and translate it to help Heroes Wiki. It's a tough call, and I don't think I have an easy answer for you. Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and experiment as much as you want. (Don't worry about "ruining" anything--any changes can be undone or modified.) But look around and get a feel for stuff. If you see something really lacking, either take it to a talk page, or go ahead and tweak it to how you think it should be. Let me know if you need any more help or have any questions--discussion is always good and is the backbone of the wiki. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 10:16, 20 October 2007 (EDT)
*** So would you be interested in seeing a page with the HEROES swf ads or HEROES promos? And [http://heroeswiki.com/index.php?title=Template:News&diff=prev&oldid=49802 the news of the HEROES Mobile Game] was my first shot at listing news, iirc. (Aside) I actually have played the game, but I must've missed where to look while playing Niki's rounds, 'cuz I never saw where the Primatech founders are listed anywhere. Maybe I didn't look along a wall or something? Anyway, thanks for the reply, and I'll do some more browsing to get a feel for the site. [[User:'ROESian|&#39;ROESian]]
****Lucky you that you got to play the game. Seems like fun...I personally don't care much about the swf ads, but that's just me. Don't let my personal preferences sway you one way or another. You're smart to bring your ideas to the community to get ideas and general concensus on what is needed. I'd do the same thing for the swf ads. Another option is to make a page for whatever it is your thinking, but to do it in the User namespace (something like "User:'ROESian/SWF ads" or "User:'ROESian/List of graphic novel Easter Eggs"). Then, if it's a page that the general population of the wiki finds important to add to the main space, it can simply be moved. Does that make sense? -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 14:17, 22 October 2007 (EDT)
***** Yep, making subpages sounds like a good idea (still, whether the stuff I add is in a subpage or wherever it is, I'm not quite sure when I'll get the opportunity to organize it and make it sorta presentable).<p>About the official NBC stuff I've attempted to compile - I do it as a way to archive what's been given from the official source, whether or not it's applicable anymore, but more just because it has been provided. For instance, I have a few copies of the promo lenticular HEROES NCM/Regal Cinemas card for the free iTunes download of the series premiere. And I have the recording of the Nathan Petrelli campaign phone call available if people ever wanted to hear it again. Things like that have no real functional value, but, like online content that has been provided, I still have them. Sorta like an unofficial deal like what [http://snurl.com/HEROES_Archive archive.org] has (although I have the original heroes.nbc.com site as a fully-functional local copy, and their offerings are more automated, I think), I'm just preserving official HEROES stuff "for posterity", just in case people wanna see what they missed. Another example? [http://snurl.com/HEROES_Cellwps These are the HEROES cellphone wallpapers, all in one spot] (at least from last season; I haven't checked to see what's new). Any place here for those? [[User:'ROESian|&#39;ROESian]]
* Besides the previous questions in my last reply, I was wondering if people were interested in having episode recaps separated into the (usually) 6 "acts" (as headers). To find where a scene is for screencaps from [http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/video/episodes.shtml HEROES Rewind] (for my own use, since 640x360 isn't the size for stuff here), I'll look at the recaps that people write to get an idea of where to look for a certain scene. However, since a person can jump to a certain "chapter" (as labeled at the Rewind) to get to a scene quickly, and, since after one has passed (to the right) a separation between the chapters another commercial plays, if recaps were organized by chapter, it could help a person more easily pinpoint where in the episode something happens with less "delays". So, will headers, like "Act 1", etc., be added to recaps? ETA that I just noticed that the recap for Flight or Fight doesn't tell what happens in the order it airs. I was attempting to get a screencap of the piano music, and, going by the recap, the scene would happen after Maury leaves his apartment, which isn't the case. I guess the recaps aren't thought of as "play-by-play commentary"?[[User:'ROESian|&#39;ROESian]]
**The episode summaries generally do go in the order things happened. If something is wrong with one of the summaries, feel free to change it. As for breaking the summaries up by "act", I personally would think it'd be a good idea if only to break up the page a bit--those summaries get really long and a few headers here and there might make things a lot easier. However, that's a ton of edits and it makes the TOC much longer on those pages. I'm also not sure if it's necessary. Another option is to add a <nowiki><span id="Act 1">and</span><div style="display:none;"></nowiki> to each section. It kind of defeats the purpose, so I don't endorse it, but I'm just trying to think of other options. However, that's not a decision I would feel comfortable making. I would take it to the [[Heroes Wiki talk:Community Portal|community]] and see how others feel about such a major change. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 16:10, 25 October 2007 (EDT)

Thx for the nice comment on my talk page. So, I've got a question: do you know why with the User Box setup it seems I can only list your favorite color? *These are great--keep 'em coming! -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:14, 30 October 2007 (EDT)
** I'm done the easy ones. Went through the episode trivia and some of the items from past incarnations of the DYK template. **** Ok, that's great. I was worried it might not be in good taste, but if he likes to point it out then all the better! I know if I drew as well as he did and were colorblind I'd bring it up all the time, too. :) ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 21:23, 30 October 2007 (EDT))
** I think it'd be funny to toss in James Kyson Lee's comment about what super power he'd want Ando to have, but I can't think of a good way to work it in. Extra points for working in the line "In an interview with Heroes Wiki, James Kyson Lee..." heh. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 21:35, 30 October 2007 (EDT))

**** Heck, in that case let's just start all the questions: "Heroes Wiki asks: Did you know..." hehe. That's good news, though, I think we can toss in some trivia from different interviews and say "In an interview with HeroesWiki.com..." Or I wonder if they'd be willing to put something generic at the end like "For more information, check out HeroesWiki.com", or even "Source: heroeswiki.com", but that may be a stretch (but so great if they would). ***I think when they said it, they were mostly talking about when I'm appearing on air. **** Oh, I gotcha. I thought this "plug your site all you want" was specific to the trivia. So, yeah, they probably already have the format all planned out and it probably doesn't include the source site, but if they want to include it that'd be great. No big deal either way, I'm just very pleased we can help out. In fact if they're going to do the trivia weekly then we may be able to give them weekly trivia updates for their Saturday airing of Heroes. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 22:14, 30 October 2007 (EDT))
*****Good idea, I'll mention it. Incidentally, what I wrote was, "You told me to plug Heroes Wiki all I wanted. There's a few references to it below, but if they're deemed no good, I'm not offended, of course. On the other hand, if you wanted to put something like "For more information, check out HeroesWiki.com", or "Source: HeroesWiki.com", that'd be great. But if you're totally laughing at me right now, then just ignore these last few lines. :)" By the way, I sent 43 pieces of trivia. Not bad, eh? -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 22:18, 30 October 2007 (EDT)
****** Terrific, nicely done... and 43 should give them a good selection to work with. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 23:18, 30 October 2007 (EDT))
******* I suppose if I had simply left one off, then we'd have [http://www.google.com/search?q=the+answer+to+life%2C+the+universe%2C+and+everything&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a the answer to life, the universe, and everything]. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:21, 30 October 2007 (EDT)
******** Ryan, I didn't even have to click your link... why? Because I thought the exact same thing when you told me it was 43. :) So if you're feeling geeky right now don't worry, you're in good company. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 01:30, 31 October 2007 (EDT))
********* Oh, I'm ''always'' feeling geeky. Or nerdy. Or dorky....I just like that Google actually uses that a math equation. Kudos to Google. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 01:34, 31 October 2007 (EDT)

=== 11/10/2007 Trivia ===
* To create the look of the Hollywood sign in ''[[The Kindness of Strangers]]'', the Art Dept. created an 8-foot partial "O" and surrounded it by blue screen. Stargate Digital, the Heroes visual effects company, then shifted the footage into a Hollywood sign plate that they created.
* Most of the foreign locations are either shot in blue screen (ie. Russia) or on mock-up sets built on the Los Angeles lot (ie. Irish pub, Montreal, Honduras, Haiti).
* In trying to find the right glasses for Mr. Bennet, ''Heroes'' producers had Jack Coleman try on over 30 pairs.
* The original pilot, released with the ''Heroes'' Season One DVD, was to be called ''In His Own Image''.
* In a press conference, Tim Kring said that the character of Hiro did not exist in the original script for the pilot. Kring, looking at the other characters who reluctantly discovered their powers, decided he needed a character who enjoyed his abilities and embraced them enthusiastically.
* The BBC has modified the content of ''Heroes'' for their viewers. For example, they removed the scene with Claire and her mother at the dinner table, where Claire says, "I walked through fire and didn't get burned" from the BBC2 showing. Also, they have introduced a new character, Bridget Bailey, an attorney who can perceive the history of an object, in their version of the online experience.
* ''Heroes'' has been broadcast on over 30 different networks and many countries around the globe.

Spam

Hi Ryan, please do something, there's a lot of spammers and I can't block them on the wiki. Thank you --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 16:42, 6 January 2016 (EST)

You still missed quite "a few".

This page shows all new pages created, including the spam, so you just need to keep deleting them until you see there aren't any except regular non-spam pages. Sandubadear (talk) 20:39, 6 January 2016 (EST)

And this page shows all newly created accounts, you can see which of those new accounts are the spammers and then block them all. Sandubadear (talk) 20:43, 6 January 2016 (EST)
Yep, I know. I had to go run an errand. I see the list, though. Thanks! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:02, 6 January 2016 (EST)
773 deletions later ... what a waste of an evening. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 23:45, 6 January 2016 (EST)
Yeah, I was here when they started and I couldn't do anything to prevent it. They were to fast (5 creations per minute). --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 00:07, 7 January 2016 (EST)
Ugh. Thanks for messaging me. That's the only reason I saw it! -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 00:09, 7 January 2016 (EST)
Here we go again, they restart!!!! --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 01:06, 7 January 2016 (EST)

Re-spam

Hi Ryan,
It seems the spammers start again. Sorry to wake you up. I tried to write to Admin by email. I know this is the sleeping time for you. Admin should install the Nuke extension to faster the deletion of spammers' pages. Thanks --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 01:24, 7 January 2016 (EST)

I couldn't do anything, they use your sleeping time to spam up! :-( --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 06:45, 7 January 2016 (EST)
I took care of it and temporarily disabled new user creation since we're in a slow period between episodes anyway. (Admin (talk) 06:48, 7 January 2016 (EST))
There may also be some residual by some of the spam accounts that were already created and not yet blocked, but if the account spams they'll be blocked. (Admin (talk) 06:57, 7 January 2016 (EST))
Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 08:06, 7 January 2016 (EST)
Ryan, there is one survivor. I cannot shoot him as I don't have admin rights on the English wiki. Thank you. --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 15:17, 7 January 2016 (EST)
Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 16:06, 7 January 2016 (EST)

Refrences

I wanted to cite my source for edits I made to Gemini Formula but the refrences formating is not working at all. I have no clue how to fix it. --Snow Leapord (talk) 06:15, 28 January 2016 (EST)

  • We don't use a template for references like Wikipedia. We just put the source afterwards. So it would just be something like this. (Heroes Reborn: Enigma) ... Where exactly are you trying to put the source? I'll take care of it if you have a hard time with it... -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 06:24, 28 January 2016 (EST)
    • I took care of it. I didn't think it looked right to leave the reference normal font size, so I shrunk it. --Snow Leapord (talk) 08:07, 28 January 2016 (EST)

Differences in Gemini & Enigma

I noticed in Enigma when Dahlia & 2014 Cassie interact that Cassie isn't wearing the Renautas smart glasses. Also in Enigma during the last meeting between Dahlia & 2014 Cassie, Dahlia doesn't have ask Cassie to do anything about the lasers or the platform she can't jump to because it is to high.

Should we mention the differences at all? If so where? --Snow Leapord (talk) 08:06, 28 January 2016 (EST)

  • I noticed those same things. We usually mention continuity errors in the Notes section of the page. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 10:26, 28 January 2016 (EST)

Re: New Season

The article you linked in Template:News at http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/heroes-reborn-season-one-ratings-38153/ just shows the ratings now and not that the current season will not be renewed. Am I missing something? Did the article change?--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:10, 1 February 2016 (EST)

Damen Peak

Hey, so we have been terrible at keeping the website up to date! lol, but I just made the 3 parts for the Damen Peak webisodes. If you could help me out some by uploading photos and summaries, that would be great. Right now, the portal has the standard picture for all 3 of them....so that's a problem... ~~IHHTalk 18:20, 18 February 2016 (EST)

  • Sure. That will have to wait until this weekend or later though. I don't have my computer with me that can easily edit images. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 20:22, 18 February 2016 (EST)
    • Awesome! ~~IHHTalk 09:57, 19 February 2016 (EST)
      • Whole thing was written and directed by the same people. No known actors for Jim or Lilly unfortunately. I've done some digging and can't figure it out. (A lot of the crew that I'm in contact with didn't even know that these web exclusives even existed...) I'll work on episode pictures this weekend. I think the ability page for persuasion has already been updated, but we could use some more images. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:40, 19 February 2016 (EST)

Vengeance

Hey, just wondering about the Issues portal. Who were the Vengeances centered around? We have it as "El Vengador" who technically isn't a person....Is there someone else that we can put on that? ~~IHHTalk 16:41, 26 February 2016 (EST)

  • I think keeping it as El Vengador is fine, since it was about both Oscar and his grandfather, as well as the idea of being El Vengador. It reminds me of the Evs Dropper comics in that way, in that Evs wasn't a single person either. But to answer your question, the comics are all told from Oscar's perspective. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 18:32, 26 February 2016 (EST)

Episode Pages

Hey, so there is a lot still to do here for Heroes Reborn and I was wondering if you, me, and maybe some others would like to devote the next couple of weeks to getting it all up to speed. So I'm suggesting this week we really go hard on getting the episode pages done. Summaries, Plots, MQs, etc. You think we can encourage others to help us?

MQ on 501, Synopsis on 506, MQ on 507, Synopsis and MQ on 508, Summary Synopsis and MQ on 509, Synopsis and MQ on 510, Story Dev and Synopsis on 511, Synopsis and Title Card on 512, Synopsis and Title Card on 513. As well, images from the episodes in the Synopsis' on all episodes.

~~IHHTalk 15:47, 29 February 2016 (EST)

  • Totally agree. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 17:38, 29 February 2016 (EST)

Season Summary

Hey, I realize this is kind of forward looking, but I was updating the Season History templates in case we get another installment and need to do a Reborn portion. I am having difficulties with three things: 1) When I type "Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn" it does not take me to the button that says "New season summary page" 2) If I were to put it on the original page as {{season summary|season=Reborn}}, then the link appears as [[Noah Bennet/Season Reborn|Noah Bennet: Season Reborn History]] 3) On the top of the Season archive footer template, it will normally link to the previous season history if their is one and I can't seem to work it with the Reborn part Can you help me with these couple things? Thanks, ~~IHHTalk 15:50, 10 March 2016 (EST)

  • The "new season summary page" is set up to appear when the title "/Season" appears in the subpagename. I can make a workaround for the few individual pages. I don't think we need to do any major structural changes since this really only affects Noah and maybe a handful of other characters. If there's another iteration of Heroes, then we can cross that bridge later. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 23:44, 10 March 2016 (EST)
    • Actually, I think the biggest issue is that there was a misspelling on the archive page. It said "Rebron" instead of Reborn" so I don't think it was pulling the info correctly... Also, on Noah's main page, I didn't use the template, I just wrote the info, which works... -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 00:13, 11 March 2016 (EST)
      • Oh, okay. I wasn't meaning that we do it now. It was mainly just to smooth the bridges later incase we needed to. It shows the category at the bottom of Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn Category:Season Reborn Histories. I have tried to work around it, but I don't quite understand the if exist or page name templates and how I can utilize that to work. ~~IHHTalk 07:48, 11 March 2016 (EST)
        • The "if exist" command just means that if the page exists on the wiki, do whatever it says to do. So something like {{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }} means that if there is a page called "Peter Petrelli" on the wiki, link it. If not, don't link it. That command would show up as Peter Petrelli. Something like {{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }} would show up as just Foo. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:05, 11 March 2016 (EST)
        • I fixed the category issue. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:23, 11 March 2016 (EST)
      • Is there a way for me to edit the MediaWiki:Newarticletext page to have the New Season Summary page button appear if it says Heroes Reborn? ~~IHHTalk 08:22, 11 March 2016 (EST)

Making this Wiki Pretty Again

Hey,

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my userpage, I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. Hopefully if we all work together and can narrow down where we can help, we can finish this soon.

Schedule:

After this, we have graphic novels, webisodes, ebooks, and ability pages to finish up. But this way, a lot of it can get done. If you can't help one week or something, that's okay! This is just to inspire you and others to team together to get this done, there aren't a lot of pages under each episode, so maybe we could bust it out in a week, but maybe not! What do you say, you in? ~~IHHTalk 14:05, 15 March 2016 (EDT)

  • It's a great idea, and I love the amount of thought you put into this. I'll do my best to stay on schedule, but I can't promise anything. Spring is my super busy time of the year, getting ready for summer camp, wrapping up schoolwork, and getting my kids to all their sports activities. I'll try to stay with it, but I can't dedicate time now like I used to ... :( -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 00:49, 16 March 2016 (EDT)
    • Sounds great! Will you do me a favor and fill in Coach Lewis' ability section? I have never really been good at these because I don't really know what to put. This would get this page all caught up. Thanks ~~IHHTalk 15:41, 21 March 2016 (EDT)

Godsend, Part 4

Hey, do you by chance have Godsend, Part 4? I noticed today that there wasn't a page for it yet, so I made one but I do not have a copy of it, so I cannot put any actual information on it. ~~IHHTalk 18:45, 11 July 2016 (EDT)
