As far as I know, Seven still own the rights to the show, but will probably air Volume Four, and, by that stage, possibly Five, in the ratings off-season in December-January. If you weren't aware, Heroes hasn't exactly set the ratings on fire in Australia. Before I went and made up another ability, I wanted to get your thoughts on the subject. I was thinking about making "Ability mimicry" and having the description be: The ability to temporarily exhibit the ability of another evolved human after physical contact. It seems that he was no longer able to use the strength he picked up from Mohinder after he touched Tracy and acquired her ability of Freezing. Let me know what you think.

* I think you're absolutely right, he wasn't able to use Mohinder's strength. It was almost as if he was only able to hold on to one ability at a time. Interesting, too, that Nathan asked him what he was able to do these days, and Peter replied, "What was the last thing you saw me do?" I think that's the essence of his ability now. I don't think that's really been confirmed yet, though, so I'm not sure I would add a new ability page yet. ** I figured at first that he had the same ability he had before and that they just added an effect to it. However the fact that they added an effect, coupled with his touching Mohinder (and Tracy) first, plus his comment to Nathan... and finally PLUS their realization that Peter becomes too powerful too easily probably convinced them to alter his ability slightly now that he got it back. I noticed in Enigma when Dahlia & 2014 Cassie interact that Cassie isn't wearing the Renautas smart glasses. Also in Enigma during the last meeting between Dahlia & 2014 Cassie, Dahlia doesn't have ask Cassie to do anything about the lasers or the platform she can't jump to because it is to high.

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my [[User:Iheartheroes|userpage]], I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. However, the reason I changed them was because of [[Portal:Matt-Related Graphic Novel Characters|here]], where the same sort of situation occurs, using "fan" instead of "Party guest". I had thought that terms that differentiate conflicting characters (Male/Female, Black-haired/Redhead, (I)/(II)), etc. were to be left out of sortnames, that's why I had changed them. So, in this case, "Male" and "Female" stays? In that case should we change [[Portal:Matt-Related Graphic Novel Characters]] too?

However, if you user the <code>sortname</code> variable in the [[template:character box|character box]], it sorts the article under that name in every category. So, that means [[female party guest (I)]] would be sorted under "P" in [[:Category:Characters]], [[:Category:Humans]], [[:Category:Female Characters]], and every other category on which that character is listed. The only explicit changes that really should be made is to sort a person by their last name instead of their first names in the categories. I can't think of too many other sortname changes that would need to be made. Does that make sense, or am I speaking gibberish? (I have a habit of that.) I have no problem saying that theories should pass a measure of appropriateness. That's hard to judge, so maybe we should just sort of leave it at that. * I don't think so. Maury created the illusion of Linderman. For all intents and purposes, his character appeared in each of those episodes, even if he was conjured by somebody else. We do list him on the [[list of character appearances by episode]]. I'm kind of new here and trying to learn, at the same time I'm trying to perfect the wiki as much as I can.

I have a question. In the [[Graphic Novel:It Takes a Village, Part 2]], the Haitian has two friends and both of them '''speak'''. So they are two characters who appear in the novel. Why not to mention them? I thought it would be proper to mention all the characters appearing both in the episodes and in the graphic novels.

By the way, check out [[User:SacValleyDweller/Release and Arc Order]]. I'm trying to gather all of the heroes media in temporal order.

I come to you with a proposition, Ryan. Let's rewind a few years ago. Lost is about to air its season three finale. A fan comes into Lostpedia and posts a synopsis for the episode in the spoiler section. Spoilers get completely eradicated from Lostpedia. Back to the here and now, the theories on Heroes Wiki get stupider by the minute. Every time someone dies on the show, there's a "____ isn't dead" theory. Things like waffles, Mr. Muggles, Barbara, Harry Fletcher, etc. are unacceptable and must be put to an end...now. I don't even recall seeing a solid or plausible theory on this site. My proposition: to put an end to this dumb-founded dipshittery we see every day on the theory pages, the theories have to go. They're just a [[catalyst]] for silliness and sometimes vandalism, things that are not to be tolerated on this wiki any longer. Think about it.--[[User:Citizen|Citizen]] 20:47, 1 March 2009 (EST)

And I'm saying that as a fairly intelligent man in my 30s. Then I think of all the younger people (and I mean teenagers and such) who might miss that warning, or might not understand, or might forget, or whatever, and boom you have people being banned left and right ([http://lostpedia.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=block&user=&page=&year=&month=-1 more than 20 this week!]). That's very much ''not'' the kind of community we're trying to build here.<p>Now I know very well how stupid some (okay, ''most'') of the theories are here and how people try to sneak spoilers in on nonspoiler pages. Part of the payment for building a community is that we expect everybody to be on different learning curves, and we spend a lot of time giving individualized instruction to spare those who might actually be trying their best. Maybe [[User:Admin|Admin]] has reasons of his own, but mine go right back to my teaching. There's no way I'll ever be able to teach one lesson to my class and expect every single person there to "get" it. I have to try a multitude of ways and try to reach a multitude of individuals, and it takes a buttload of effort on my part. But that's the way it's done. Teachers who try to "teach to the middle" or who expect everyone to fall in line perfectly have the lowest success rates.<p>So enough mumbo jumbo about teaching. Here at the wiki, we have a lot of stupidity that creeps into pages that don't get patrolled as often as others--namely the theory pages. (Spoiler pages, too, but mostly the theory sections of those pages.) It's rare that you'll see me visit those pages. In fact, I visited one today, and I think there was only one theory there, and it wasn't a bad one. But it was riddled with grammar mistakes, so I started editing. I could have gone on much longer and taken my editing to other theory pages, but I just couldn't bring myself to do that. Ugh. I generally stay away from those pages.<p>Yes, all pages at Heroes Wiki are supposed to be professional in nature. But some have gone so far to the other side that trying to bring them back to a level of professionalism seems like an insurmountable task. I know. My suggestion is either 1, stay away from those pages, or 2, work with one individual at a time to bring up the level of professionalism.<p>Now all that jazz having been said, there are a bunch of yahoos and idiots who will still be jerks and put stupid stuff on some pages. I've seen about a million theories about the [[drug dealer]] and [[Harry Fletcher]]. I don't have the energy--or desire--to go through the history and find out who did it, and then to give the person a proper warning. So it continues. (If anybody knows who the db is, please give them a kind but firm warning--and if they give you trouble, let me know.) <p>I know this is a superlong rant, but my point is to kind of give you the place where I'm coming from. I don't think getting rid of the theory pages altogether is a good idea, as it's a hook for a lot of people (myself included) to join the site. And just because there are a few jerks who hog the pages with inane theories doesn't mean we should cut off our nose to spite our face, so to speak. The theory pages themselves aren't innately stupid. It's the content that can be, and so it's the content that needs to be removed or modified. This should probably be discussed at the [[Heroes Wiki talk:community portal|community portal]], but maybe we need stricter guidelines for the theory pages (see [[Help:Theories]]). They are both great resources for information about the Heroes-verse and it would make it easier to know when the new ones are up. ** Yeah, I don't think adding those links on the main page is a bad idea. They're both wonderful resources, and I think publicizing them a bit more is a good idea. I'm not in favor of removing the DYK section. If it hasn't been updated in awhile, the remedy is not to remove it, but to update it. Refrences

  • We don't use a template for references like Wikipedia. We just put the source afterwards. So it would just be something like this. (Heroes Reborn: Enigma) ... Differences in Gemini & Enigma

I noticed in Enigma when Dahlia & 2014 Cassie interact that Cassie isn't wearing the Renautas smart glasses. Also in Enigma during the last meeting between Dahlia & 2014 Cassie, Dahlia doesn't have ask Cassie to do anything about the lasers or the platform she can't jump to because it is to high.

Re: New Season

Damen Peak

Hey, so we have been terrible at keeping the website up to date! lol, but I just made the 3 parts for the Damen Peak webisodes. If you could help me out some by uploading photos and summaries, that would be great. I don't know who wrote and directed the first and last ones (I took the names from the second and put them on all three)...With this, we don't have actors for Jim and Lilly...We need episode pictures and title pictures as well as image-nav things...Do the ability pages need updating?...Do I need to attach URLs to the videos on NBC website?....I updated the checklist.       • Whole thing was written and directed by the same people. No known actors for Jim or Lilly unfortunately. I've done some digging and can't figure it out. (A lot of the crew that I'm in contact with didn't even know that these web exclusives even existed...) I'll work on episode pictures this weekend. Vengeance

  • I think keeping it as El Vengador is fine, since it was about both Oscar and his grandfather, as well as the idea of being El Vengador. It reminds me of the Evs Dropper comics in that way, in that Evs wasn't a single person either. Episode Pages

Hey, so there is a lot still to do here for Heroes Reborn and I was wondering if you, me, and maybe some others would like to devote the next couple of weeks to getting it all up to speed. So I'm suggesting this week we really go hard on getting the episode pages done. Summaries, Plots, MQs, etc. You think we can encourage others to help us?

MQ on 501, Synopsis on 506, MQ on 507, Synopsis and MQ on 508, Summary Synopsis and MQ on 509, Synopsis and MQ on 510, Story Dev and Synopsis on 511, Synopsis and Title Card on 512, Synopsis and Title Card on 513. As well, images from the episodes in the Synopsis' on all episodes.

  • Totally agree. Sounds like a plan. I am pretty busy intermittently in the next few weeks with work and other commitments. But I help out wherever I can when I get a chance. Season Summary

Hey, I realize this is kind of forward looking, but I was updating the Season History templates in case we get another installment and need to do a Reborn portion. I am having difficulties with three things: 1) When I type "Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn" it does not take me to the button that says "New season summary page" 2) If I were to put it on the original page as {{season summary|season=Reborn}}, then the link appears as [[Noah Bennet/Season Reborn|Noah Bennet: Season Reborn History]] 3) On the top of the Season archive footer template, it will normally link to the previous season history if their is one and I can't seem to work it with the Reborn part Can you help me with these couple things?   • The "new season summary page" is set up to appear when the title "/Season" appears in the subpagename. I can make a workaround for the few individual pages. I don't think we need to do any major structural changes since this really only affects Noah and maybe a handful of other characters.     • Actually, I think the biggest issue is that there was a misspelling on the archive page. It said "Rebron" instead of Reborn" so I don't think it was pulling the info correctly...       • Oh, okay. I wasn't meaning that we do it now. It was mainly just to smooth the bridges later incase we needed to. It shows the category at the bottom of Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn Category:Season Reborn Histories.         • The "if exist" command just means that if the page exists on the wiki, do whatever it says to do. So something like {{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }} means that if there is a page called "Peter Petrelli" on the wiki, link it. If not, don't link it. That command would show up as Peter Petrelli. Something like {{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }} would show up as just Foo. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:05, 11 March 2016 (EST)

Making this Wiki Pretty Again

Hey,

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my userpage, I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. Hopefully if we all work together and can narrow down where we can help, we can finish this soon.

After this, we have graphic novels, webisodes, ebooks, and ability pages to finish up. But this way, a lot of it can get done. If you can't help one week or something, that's okay! This is just to inspire you and others to team together to get this done, there aren't a lot of pages under each episode, so maybe we could bust it out in a week, but maybe not!
