==Interview==
*Hey Ryan, I want to ask you something. Could I interview the creator of Zeroes and post the interview on the Zeroes page? Of course I would tell him about Heroeswiki first and let him on insite before the interviewing? What do you think?
**It sounds like a fantastic idea. Any Heroes Wiki mention would be really nice, but not required, of course. Let me know if I can help in any way. &mdash; [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 22:17, 1 May 2007 (EDT)

==Episode:EpisodeTitle==
Hey Ryan, I don't understand I've red links on the [[Special:Wantedpages]] for each episode, red links looks like this '''<nowiki>[[Episode:Gensesis]](1 link)</nowiki>''', or 2 sometimes... but when I click to check out where the damn red link is, I get the 1342334234 pages that actually link to this VALID link. So wtf ? I don't get it.. --&nbsp;[[User:FrenchFlo|'''FrenchFlo''']]&nbsp;[[User talk:FrenchFlo|<span style="font-size:8pt">(talk)</span>]]&nbsp;<span style="border: 1px solid black">[[Wikipedia:Toulouse|<span style="background-color:blue">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="background-color:white">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="background-color:red">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>]]</span> 15:52, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
*All the episode pages were recently changed so that <tt>Episode:</tt> is now a valid namespace (much like <tt>Category:</tt> or <tt>Template:</tt>). It could be that your cache needs to be flushed. Depending on your browser, you'll want to type F5 or shift-F5, or whatever you do to refresh. Try that and let me know if it fixes the problem. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you. &mdash; [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 17:15, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
*Hm, mine's showing it too. Just cleaned the cache too, still there. I click on the red link, and it shows the text of the article as if I just clicked the edit link (which, in theory, is a red link). Something wrong with the server?--[[User:Baldbobbo|Bob]] 17:17, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
**Yeah it doesn't work and I knew it won't since I didn't have thoose red links yesterday or this morning maybe. --&nbsp;[[User:FrenchFlo|'''FrenchFlo''']]&nbsp;[[User talk:FrenchFlo|<span style="font-size:8pt">(talk)</span>]]&nbsp;<span style="border: 1px solid black">[[Wikipedia:Toulouse|<span style="background-color:blue">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="background-color:white">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="background-color:red">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>]]</span> 17:18, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
* Someone swapped in the test.heroeswiki.com domain this morning for the home page and several templates. Someone with admin perms should check the server-side code for the special page to make sure it's not still in there. It's not editable or viewable by us normal folk.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 17:35, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
**Okay, I'm here now. I'm not showing any problems on [[special:wantedpages]]. I'd be glad to check the server-side code, but I'm not exactly sure how. If somebody wants to guide me through it, that'd be great. &mdash; [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 20:01, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
*** After now reading the help, I see that special pages are updated automatically by the wiki software, so now I don't think we have to mess with it (in fact, all the bad links are gone now). FWIW, ''special'' pages appear to be just protected pages. You can read more help on them [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Special_page here] and more about how to unrestrict access to edit them/add new ones [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Preventing_access here]. Essentially, it looks like you have to view/edit LocalSettings.php on the server.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 23:33, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
**** I'm not sure how you saw test.heroeswiki.com, MiamiVolts, unless perhaps you went there manually at some point or someone had a link here you clicked on? I was working on the test site today, but haven't touched the production site so there shouldn't have been any problems. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 23:36, 2 May 2007 (EDT))
***** Actually, it may be because I didnt define the new custom namespaces within the test site. Doh! Then when the test site went checking for wantedpages it couldn't find the Episode articles. Sounds like a possibility there. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 23:38, 2 May 2007 (EDT))
****** That was most likely it. The Main_Page of the normal site had all its links pointed to the test site but there were no articles. Thus, the test site's special:wantedpages article had a whole lot of bad links that somehow carried over to the normal site when changed back. It's fixed now, though.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 23:46, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
*******That makes sense. Thanks for figuring that out. &mdash; [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 00:02, 3 May 2007 (EDT)

**Check out [[MediaWiki:Newarticletext]]. All the fun stuff's in there. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 23:32, 2 May 2007 (EDT))
**Sure. That's one of my summer projects, but I'd love it if you wanted to add some now.
**#Go to [[MediaWiki:Newarticletext]].
**#Copy one of the buttons and add it where you want. Make sure you change the name that appears on the button (which is located last) and the template you want preloaded (which is after preload, of course). For instance, if you want to add a button for references, make sure the button says "reference" and the template is something like Template:Newpage_Reference.
**#That's basically it for Newarticletext. Now start the template you referenced. For instance, Template:Newpage_Reference.
**#This is the hardest part. On the template, add all the layout stuff as needed. Unfortunately you can't add too much code to the page since it will preload exactly as you type. In fact, the only thing I've been successful in adding is the <nowiki><includeonly></nowiki> tags. And really you should add these tags at the very beginning and end of the template so that any categories you have on the page aren't attributed to the template.
**That's it, really. Just a note about adding the layout for the Template:newpage_whatever: I also made simple directions ([[Template:Newpage_directions]]) which appear at the top of the new page that is being edited. They basically say that anything in all caps should be deleted. I've been following the format you've used on [[help:layout]]--CAPS are for notes to the user....Hope that helps. Let me know if you have a more specific question. &mdash; [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 00:02, 3 May 2007 (EDT)
*Could one of you change the lead description part so that it says "A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE <nowiki>'''PLACE''' "</nowiki>? I think that would be more descriptive and helpful. **I'm not quite sure what you mean. I just went through the entire history for [[Sylar (future)]] and I never saw any kind of radioactivity/pyrokinesis debate. I saw that [http://heroeswiki.com/index.php?title=Sylar_%28future%29&diff=prev&oldid=60767 somebody had put James Walker] as the originator of [[cryokinesis]] (which is preposterous) and that [http://heroeswiki.com/index.php?title=Sylar_%28future%29&diff=next&oldid=60767 somebody else removed it] (which is commendable), but I didn't see anything related to what you're talking about either in the discussion page or the main article space. * The sibilant exception only occurs when a word's penultimate syllable is also a sibilant (meaning the possessive would result in a triple sibilant), not merely when a word ends in a single sibilant. "Belonging to Trunks" is always "Trunks's"; "Belonging to Isis" can be either " Isis's " or (more frequently) " Isis' ".--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 02:35, 5 May 2007 (EDT)

***Strunk, White, and I believe so, but it's really a style issue, not a grammar issue, so some others argue either it's always apostrophe-s (I think the Chicago manual does it this way) or always just an apostrophe (I know the AP used to do it this way and it annoyed me) when the singular ends in a sibilant. There was, incidentally, a huge debate a few years back about the possessive of "Arkansas" (which ends in an alleged "silent sibilant", which I feel is oxymoronic) which culminated in a group of grammar Nazis petitioning for (and getting) a State resolution declaring it to be Arkansas's by fiat. My intent on that change was not to promote or demote anyone from the 3 class-structures listed. I agree with you that NBC is driving those three distinctions....but they are kinda inconsistent in continuing to carry some dead characters as if they are main, supporting, or reoccurring; when many of them have been doorknob dead for half the season or more. My reason for the ''deceased'' category was simply to have a place to group dead people, (and if the resurrect, fine...we can easily move them out when they become alive again)....so that the three main categories (Main, Supporting, and Reoccuring) only contain live and actually active castmembers. It just makes it look as if some of the long-dead characters are active and alive the way they are listed in the three main categories...even though NBC continues to do it this way. If this idea is really not worth considering, could we do a superscript notation on those dead people until they are no longer dead, or a color, or something descriptive? Those of us who watch the show and follow it closely have no problem knowing who is who; and what their status is; but there are alot of folks who watch the show and haven't seen all the epis, and don't even know everyone's name yet, much less the fact that they died 4 or 5 months ago. Just looking for a better way to make that distinction with the template. Is there any way to do this other than doing nothing? <small>--[[User:HiroDynoSlayer|HiroDynoSlayer]] ([[User talk:HiroDynoSlayer|talk]]) 05/9/2007 13:38 (EST)</small>
**RGS should it be mentioned on both games or just one game? If only one game which? --[[User:Snow Leapord|Snow Leapord]] ([[User talk:Snow Leapord|talk]]) 12:01, 28 January 2016 (EST)
*First, I like the idea of somehow denoting that they're dead. This should probably be done the same as we do it everywhere else: with italics. I'll take care of that now. I don't think separating them into another row on an already-bloated bar is a good idea. Besides, if we have a row called "Deceased Characters", we should probably list them all, not just a select few, and I probably don't need to tell you how messy that would look. :) As for dead people not being active, says who? Chandra has appeared plenty of times (and is still listed as a supporting character) and he's been dead since before the show began.... Personally, I really don't care what we do with the supporting and recurring characters since that's our own designation anyway, but I don't feel comfortable taking anybody (even dead-as-a-doornail characters) out of the Main Characters since that's NBC's distinction, not ours. I'm sure it'll all (necessarily) change during the summer, so we probably don't have too much to worry about. But for now, let's just denote the dead guys with italics. &mdash; [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 13:47, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

== Episode Pages ==
A week ago I changed [[Kaito]]'s power to "Unknown" and you changed it back. I didn't think that was fair at the time but because of work I couldn't spare the time to build an argument about it, which I know can.

Hey, so there is a lot still to do here for Heroes Reborn and I was wondering if you, me, and maybe some others would like to devote the next couple of weeks to getting it all up to speed. So I'm suggesting this week we really go hard on getting the episode pages done. Summaries, Plots, MQs, etc. You think we can encourage others to help us?
I don't know if it is wiki policy to maintain "None" as the Power of the characters that do not have a confirmed power, but someone classified [[Charles Deveraux]]'s power as "Unknown". That I know of, the only pointers to that are his appearances in [[Peter]]'s dreams, but then again, Peter dreams about pretty much everyone throughout the season, so I fail to see where that constitutes a legitimate argument.

MQ on 501, Synopsis on 506, MQ on 507, Synopsis and MQ on 508, Summary Synopsis and MQ on 509, Synopsis and MQ on 510, Story Dev and Synopsis on 511, Synopsis and Title Card on 512, Synopsis and Title Card on 513. As well, images from the episodes in the Synopsis' on all episodes.
Furthermore, you are breaking that policy yourself by stating that [[James Walker]] has an unknown power. Although that is a fair assumption, as [[Sylar]] did kill him ("bogeyman" reference) and he never, that we know of, took the brain of a normal human (and he says several times that he has no interest in killing normal humans - both in [[The Hard Part]] and in [[How to Stop an Exploding Man]]), it is not 100% a fact.

{{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 15:47, 29 February 2016 (EST)
I have difficulty in accepting such a blurry line of "here is None and here is Unknown", still I will add a section arguing about Kaito's power in [[Theories:People#Kaito_Nakamura]] and leave your *opinion* in his profile. And more: I'll bet you he IS evolved... and I dare you to bet me otherwise ;)--[[User:N4d4br0v1tchk4|N4d4br0v1tchk4]]
* Totally agree. Sounds like a plan. I am pretty busy intermittently in the next few weeks with work and other commitments. But I help out wherever I can when I get a chance. I know you have a hard time doing pictures, so if there are any images you need, just drop a note on my page I'd be glad to get them for you when I get a chance. FYI, title cards for 512 and 513 don't exist. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 17:38, 29 February 2016 (EST)
* "None" is the standard for characters that aren't confirmed to have a power. James Walker says "Unknown" because we know he had a power, we just don't know what it is. [[User:Heroe|<span style="color:green">Heroe!</span>]]<small>[[User talk:Heroe|<span style="color:#000000">(talk)</span>]] [[Special:Contributions/Heroe|<span style="color:#FF6600">(contribs)</span>]]</small> 20:21, 22 May 2007 (EDT)
** lol I don't see what you said that I hadn't said already... how do you KNOW he had a power? What constitutes KNOWLEDGE? ;P Anyway, Charles Deveraux is much less likely (IMHO) to be an evolved human than Kaito Nakamura and he has the right to a "Unknown". Why? Btw, as promissed, my arguments about Kaito's likeliness to be evolved are now in the [[Theories:People#Kaito_Nakamura]] page. --[[User:N4d4br0v1tchk4|N4d4br0v1tchk4]] 20:56, 22 May 2007 (EDT)
*** Update: I just refreshed Charles' page and [[User:Ice_Vision]] already changed it to "None".
**** Charles, James, and Kaito should all read "None". The field is for "Known powers", not "Powers". Saying "None" doesn't mean the individual doesn't have powers, it merely means that none are known. The reason the field is labeled that way is to avoid these kinds of discussions and stick to confirmed information. There should be no need to debate who is "more likely" to have powers--we simply only mention confirmed powers. James Walker is a confirmed evolved human, but he still has no "known powers".--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 23:37, 22 May 2007 (EDT)
**Actually, when you put "Unknown" in the field, it changes "Known powers" to just "Power". There has been a lot of confusion about confirmed evolved humans with unknown powers. Though "Known power: None" is correct, so is "Power: Unknown". Putting "None" is misleading, and there has been a lot of confusion over this issue as of late. &mdash; [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 23:56, 22 May 2007 (EDT)
*Sylar took James Walker's brain, but not Mrs. Walker's. James was an evolved human. (The existence of his daughter's power is further evidence that James had a "power gene" to pass on.) The site's policy is to put "Unknown" for those who have a power but the power is unknown. Those that have not demonstrated a power or are not confirmed to be an evolved human have "None" entered for their "Known power". I'm not sure why you're daring me to do anything, but sure, I agree with you that Kaito probably has a power, too. However, that's just an opinion--it's just a guess, no matter how educated it may be. To put anything else would be speculation. As for Charles, I'm reserving judgment right now. I don't rule over the site any more than [[User:Ice Vision|Ice Vision]], you, or anyone else does. But I'm leaving Charles's page until we're able to make some sort of decision. If you want my opinion, I kind of agree with Ice Vision that it wasn't a very clear demonstration of a power, and was an even less clear confirmation of him being evolved. That said, with the exception of Charles, I don't see any blurry lines. I'm sorry you do. &mdash; [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 21:21, 22 May 2007 (EDT)

Hey, I realize this is kind of forward looking, but I was updating the Season History templates in case we get another installment and need to do a Reborn portion. I am having difficulties with three things:
== Size ==
1) When I type "Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn" it does not take me to the button that says "New season summary page"
2) If I were to put it on the original page as <nowiki>{{season summary|season=Reborn}}</nowiki>, then the link appears as <nowiki>[[Noah Bennet/Season Reborn|Noah Bennet: Season Reborn History]]</nowiki>
3) On the top of the Season archive footer template, it will normally link to the previous season history if their is one and I can't seem to work it with the Reborn part
Can you help me with these couple things? Thanks, {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 15:50, 10 March 2016 (EST)
* The "new season summary page" is set up to appear when the title "/Season" appears in the subpagename. I can make a workaround for the few individual pages. I don't think we need to do any major structural changes since this really only affects Noah and maybe a handful of other characters. If there's another iteration of ''Heroes'', then we can cross that bridge later. :) -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:44, 10 March 2016 (EST)
** Actually, I think the biggest issue is that there was a misspelling on the archive page. It said "Rebron" instead of Reborn" so I don't think it was pulling the info correctly... Also, on Noah's main page, I didn't use the template, I just wrote the info, which works... -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 00:13, 11 March 2016 (EST)
*** Oh, okay. I wasn't meaning that we do it now. It was mainly just to smooth the bridges later incase we needed to. It shows the category at the bottom of Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn ''Category:Season Reborn Histories''. I have tried to work around it, but I don't quite understand the if exist or page name templates and how I can utilize that to work. {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 07:48, 11 March 2016 (EST)
**** The "if exist" command just means that if the page exists on the wiki, do whatever it says to do. So something like <tt><nowiki>{{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }}</nowiki></tt> means that if there is a page called "Peter Petrelli" on the wiki, link it. If not, don't link it. That command would show up as {{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }}. Something like <tt><nowiki>{{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }}</nowiki></tt> would show up as just {{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }}. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:05, 11 March 2016 (EST)
**** I fixed the category issue. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:23, 11 March 2016 (EST)
*** Is there a way for me to edit the MediaWiki:Newarticletext page to have the New Season Summary page button appear if it says ''Heroes Reborn''? {{User:Iheartheroes/sig}} 08:22, 11 March 2016 (EST)
**** No, only admins can edit MediaWiki pages. I'll take care of it. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:06, 11 March 2016 (EST)

Hey,
== Blocking ==

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my [[User:Iheartheroes|userpage]], I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. Hopefully if we all work together and can narrow down where we can help, we can finish this soon.
Thanks for blocking the vandal.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 22:35, 28 May 2007 (EDT)

Schedule:
*Week of March 20: {{epp|501}}
*Week of March 27: {{epp|502}}
*Week of April 3: {{epp|503}}
*Week of April 10: {{epp|504}}
*Week of April 17: {{epp|505}}
*Week of April 24: {{epp|506}}
*Week of May 1: {{epp|507}}

After this, we have graphic novels, webisodes, ebooks, and ability pages to finish up. But this way, a lot of it can get done. If you can't help one week or something, that's okay! Spam

Hi Ryan, please do something, there's a lot of spammers and I can't block them on the wiki. Thank you --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 16:42, 6 January 2016 (EST)

You still missed quite "a few".

This page shows all new pages created, including the spam, so you just need to keep deleting them until you see there aren't any except regular non-spam pages. Sandubadear (talk) 20:39, 6 January 2016 (EST)

And this page shows all newly created accounts, you can see which of those new accounts are the spammers and then block them all. Sandubadear (talk) 20:43, 6 January 2016 (EST)
Yep, I know. I had to go run an errand. I see the list, though. Thanks! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:02, 6 January 2016 (EST)
773 deletions later ... what a waste of an evening. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 23:45, 6 January 2016 (EST)
Yeah, I was here when they started and I couldn't do anything to prevent it. They were to fast (5 creations per minute). --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 00:07, 7 January 2016 (EST)
Ugh. Thanks for messaging me. That's the only reason I saw it! -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 00:09, 7 January 2016 (EST)
Here we go again, they restart!!!! --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 01:06, 7 January 2016 (EST)

Re-spam

Hi Ryan,
It seems the spammers start again. Sorry to wake you up. I tried to write to Admin by email. I know this is the sleeping time for you. Admin should install the Nuke extension to faster the deletion of spammers' pages. Thanks --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 01:24, 7 January 2016 (EST)

I couldn't do anything, they use your sleeping time to spam up! :-( --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 06:45, 7 January 2016 (EST)
I took care of it and temporarily disabled new user creation since we're in a slow period between episodes anyway. (Admin (talk) 06:48, 7 January 2016 (EST))
There may also be some residual by some of the spam accounts that were already created and not yet blocked, but if the account spams they'll be blocked. (Admin (talk) 06:57, 7 January 2016 (EST))
Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 08:06, 7 January 2016 (EST)
Ryan, there is one survivor. I cannot shoot him as I don't have admin rights on the English wiki. Thank you. --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 15:17, 7 January 2016 (EST)
Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 16:06, 7 January 2016 (EST)

Refrences

I wanted to cite my source for edits I made to Gemini Formula but the refrences formating is not working at all. I have no clue how to fix it. --Snow Leapord (talk) 06:15, 28 January 2016 (EST)

  • We don't use a template for references like Wikipedia. We just put the source afterwards. So it would just be something like this. (Heroes Reborn: Enigma) ... Where exactly are you trying to put the source? I'll take care of it if you have a hard time with it... -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 06:24, 28 January 2016 (EST)
    • I took care of it. I didn't think it looked right to leave the reference normal font size, so I shrunk it. --Snow Leapord (talk) 08:07, 28 January 2016 (EST)

Differences in Gemini & Enigma

I noticed in Enigma when Dahlia & 2014 Cassie interact that Cassie isn't wearing the Renautas smart glasses. Also in Enigma during the last meeting between Dahlia & 2014 Cassie, Dahlia doesn't have ask Cassie to do anything about the lasers or the platform she can't jump to because it is to high.

Should we mention the differences at all? If so where? --Snow Leapord (talk) 08:06, 28 January 2016 (EST)

  • I noticed those same things. We usually mention continuity errors in the Notes section of the page. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 10:26, 28 January 2016 (EST)

Re: New Season

The article you linked in Template:News at http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/heroes-reborn-season-one-ratings-38153/ just shows the ratings now and not that the current season will not be renewed. Am I missing something? Did the article change?--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:10, 1 February 2016 (EST)

Damen Peak

Hey, so we have been terrible at keeping the website up to date! lol, but I just made the 3 parts for the Damen Peak webisodes. If you could help me out some by uploading photos and summaries, that would be great. Right now, the portal has the standard picture for all 3 of them....so that's a problem... ~~IHHTalk 18:20, 18 February 2016 (EST)

  • Sure. That will have to wait until this weekend or later though. I don't have my computer with me that can easily edit images. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 20:22, 18 February 2016 (EST)
    • Awesome! I don't know who wrote and directed the first and last ones (I took the names from the second and put them on all three)...With this, we don't have actors for Jim and Lilly...We need episode pictures and title pictures as well as image-nav things...Do the ability pages need updating?...Do I need to attach URLs to the videos on NBC website?....I updated the checklist. So only the things listed on DP, Part 2 that aren't checked are what we still need to do. ~~IHHTalk 09:57, 19 February 2016 (EST)
      • Whole thing was written and directed by the same people. No known actors for Jim or Lilly unfortunately. I've done some digging and can't figure it out. (A lot of the crew that I'm in contact with didn't even know that these web exclusives even existed...) I'll work on episode pictures this weekend. I think the ability page for persuasion has already been updated, but we could use some more images. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:40, 19 February 2016 (EST)

Vengeance

Hey, just wondering about the Issues portal. Who were the Vengeances centered around? We have it as "El Vengador" who technically isn't a person....Is there someone else that we can put on that? ~~IHHTalk 16:41, 26 February 2016 (EST)

  • I think keeping it as El Vengador is fine, since it was about both Oscar and his grandfather, as well as the idea of being El Vengador. It reminds me of the Evs Dropper comics in that way, in that Evs wasn't a single person either. But to answer your question, the comics are all told from Oscar's perspective. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 18:32, 26 February 2016 (EST)

Episode Pages

Hey, so there is a lot still to do here for Heroes Reborn and I was wondering if you, me, and maybe some others would like to devote the next couple of weeks to getting it all up to speed. So I'm suggesting this week we really go hard on getting the episode pages done. Summaries, Plots, MQs, etc. You think we can encourage others to help us?

MQ on 501, Synopsis on 506, MQ on 507, Synopsis and MQ on 508, Summary Synopsis and MQ on 509, Synopsis and MQ on 510, Story Dev and Synopsis on 511, Synopsis and Title Card on 512, Synopsis and Title Card on 513. As well, images from the episodes in the Synopsis' on all episodes.

~~IHHTalk 15:47, 29 February 2016 (EST)

  • Totally agree. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 17:38, 29 February 2016 (EST)

Season Summary

Hey, I realize this is kind of forward looking, but I was updating the Season History templates in case we get another installment and need to do a Reborn portion. I am having difficulties with three things: 1) When I type "Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn" it does not take me to the button that says "New season summary page" 2) If I were to put it on the original page as {{season summary|season=Reborn}}, then the link appears as [[Noah Bennet/Season Reborn|Noah Bennet: Season Reborn History]] 3) On the top of the Season archive footer template, it will normally link to the previous season history if their is one and I can't seem to work it with the Reborn part Can you help me with these couple things? Thanks, ~~IHHTalk 15:50, 10 March 2016 (EST)

  • The "new season summary page" is set up to appear when the title "/Season" appears in the subpagename. I can make a workaround for the few individual pages. I don't think we need to do any major structural changes since this really only affects Noah and maybe a handful of other characters. If there's another iteration of Heroes, then we can cross that bridge later. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 23:44, 10 March 2016 (EST)
    • Actually, I think the biggest issue is that there was a misspelling on the archive page. It said "Rebron" instead of Reborn" so I don't think it was pulling the info correctly... Also, on Noah's main page, I didn't use the template, I just wrote the info, which works... -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 00:13, 11 March 2016 (EST)
      • Oh, okay. I wasn't meaning that we do it now. It was mainly just to smooth the bridges later incase we needed to. It shows the category at the bottom of Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn Category:Season Reborn Histories. I have tried to work around it, but I don't quite understand the if exist or page name templates and how I can utilize that to work. ~~IHHTalk 07:48, 11 March 2016 (EST)
        • The "if exist" command just means that if the page exists on the wiki, do whatever it says to do. So something like {{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }} means that if there is a page called "Peter Petrelli" on the wiki, link it. If not, don't link it. That command would show up as Peter Petrelli. Something like {{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }} would show up as just Foo. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:05, 11 March 2016 (EST)
        • I fixed the category issue. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:23, 11 March 2016 (EST)
      • Is there a way for me to edit the MediaWiki:Newarticletext page to have the New Season Summary page button appear if it says Heroes Reborn? ~~IHHTalk 08:22, 11 March 2016 (EST)

Making this Wiki Pretty Again

Hey,

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my userpage, I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. Hopefully if we all work together and can narrow down where we can help, we can finish this soon.

Schedule:

After this, we have graphic novels, webisodes, ebooks, and ability pages to finish up. But this way, a lot of it can get done. If you can't help one week or something, that's okay! This is just to inspire you and others to team together to get this done, there aren't a lot of pages under each episode, so maybe we could bust it out in a week, but maybe not! What do you say, you in? ~~IHHTalk 14:05, 15 March 2016 (EDT)
