Taking in consideration there is a category for evolved humans with synthetic abilities, should we consider making a category for evolved humans who had their abilities removed? ** At first, I was thinking just about the ones who had their powers removed by Arthur, but now that you mention it, I'm in doubt. The Haitian, the ability negation pills and the Shanti virus all suppress abilities, but they don't effectively remove them, the Haitian was able to use his power after being cured, but I think that there are special cases, most notable Sylar, who after being cured still retained his original ability, but lost all but one of his acquired abilities. The category would work for all characters who were powerless for a while, even so even if Peter or Maya got their powers back they'd still fit the category, but then we'd need an "abilities restored" category too. Peter, Maya, Sylar and Adam are the only ones who fit the category right now, maybe we should wait until there are more characters? Hey, so there is a lot still to do here for Heroes Reborn and I was wondering if you, me, and maybe some others would like to devote the next couple of weeks to getting it all up to speed. So I'm suggesting this week we really go hard on getting the episode pages done. Summaries, Plots, MQs, etc. You think we can encourage others to help us?

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my [[User:Iheartheroes|userpage]], I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. Hopefully if we all work together and can narrow down where we can help, we can finish this soon.

The only person I know of who is listed as having two abilities (other than through some form of absorption) is [[Brendan Lewis]]--and even then, I'm not convinced that his [[regeneration]] wasn't an aspect of his [[plant manipulation]]...but that's another story. No, I don't think Knox has two abilities--he has the ability of [[enhanced strength]] which he gets by feeding off the ambient emotions of others. The strongest cases for somebody with more than one ability is Hiro (who can stop time, teleport, and travel through time) and the Haitian (who can block the abilities of others and can erase memories). But it's been shown a few times that even these guys have only one power--Hiro said he can manipulate space and time (which is the umbrella for everything he does) and we've called the Haitian's ability "mental manipulation" as a catchall for everything he does. I think it's too early to tell much about Santiago's power, but you can bet dollars to donuts that he's only got one ability. I wanted to create a page for the [[explosion future]] Ando (even though it would have very little on it), and I was trying to use [[:Image:9th wonders andowned.jpg|this]] image, but even using the [http://heroeswiki.com/Help:Images#Image_Formatting_and_Captions thumbnailing piping or pixel specifications (200x250px)], I couldn't get it to look right in [[Future Characters|the portal]] (the bottom half seems to be all white). I was wondering if there is another way to get it as a portal image, or if I'd need to edit it and reupload it. Beyond that, I was wondering if you had any suggestions as an alternative to creating his page. I mainly wanted to do it for two reasons:

I noticed you placed it after in a recent edit (so assume that's correct), but it seems to go before in a lot of places throughout the site. Do I just edit the page and put the redirect command in? * Check [[help:cites]]. There are no set-in-stone rules, but there are some guidelines. Really, it depends how it's used. If the cite can be used for the entire paragraph, then it makes sense to put it outside the paragraph. If it can be used for only a part of a sentence, it should go at the end of the part it refers to. If it is a reference for an entire sentence within a paragraph (and there is another sentence that follows that does not need the reference), then it goes inside the sentence. Here are some examples:
*# Peter fights Sylar at Homecoming. Then he falls off the roof and Claire thanks him. {{epp|109}}

I made this little "BrowseAll" template yesterday, {{User:HiroDynoSlayer/Template:BrowseAll}} (which is what got me into messing with collapsible tables), because I wanted a one-stop-shop kinda point of quick-reference to be able easily jump to any episode or GN and either its main-page, or its image-page...without having to drill through other pages, and menus, etc...and also that would list the numerical value of each epi/gn because sometimes folks refer to them that way, and I can't always remember what number is what, and have to go digging to find it.

I made this as a template, with as small a footprint as possible, and am now using it on my userpage; but was wondering if there would be a place on the main board this would be useful for with other members. * Ryan told me the names of the real-life girls he used as models for the three cheerleaders. They are friends of his. He also asked that those names be kept quiet to sort of protect his friends' identities. I think I published them at one point and then deleted them at his request, but I can't remember now. Because he asked to keep them private and because they're the names of real people (not the names of the girls in the comic), it's probably best that we don't use them at all. I am really sad that www.kilohoku.com has died. (The site that hosted Heroes Transcripts). I think I put together all of the 1st season episodes into one html file for you a couple years ago....I have saved off, all of Season 1 and 2 transcripts. (In their kilohoku format)....I am thinking about starting a project to gut and clean them down, and working through all of them, and reducing them down just to the actual on-screen spoken text; to have as a reference. All they would contain would be the Episode title, and the dialogue...that way, I am not infringing upon kilohoku (if they even still exist), but just re-representing the transcripts as they are from the episodes themselves. I would eventually like to have them drilled down cleanly enough to start building up a wiki-page for each epi transcript; that can be linked from the epi-page. If all of this goes well; I would like to endeavor to transcribe the GNs. Yes, I have already done Monsters....I am off to a blazing start there. What do you think of the idea of inclusion of transcripts on the wiki? (If not for whatever reason), what would you think of an off-wiki website that I happen to stumble upon that has all of the transcripts; and then linking to it? Just kinda thinking outloud on this...I use to use the transcripts alot; and if this is a project that can be accepted at the wiki; I would like to get underway with it as time is available. For Season 3, I will have to manually transcribe all of those by hand; and want to get that done before too many new epis come out. Differences in Gemini & Enigma

I noticed in Enigma when Dahlia & 2014 Cassie interact that Cassie isn't wearing the Renautas smart glasses. Also in Enigma during the last meeting between Dahlia & 2014 Cassie, Dahlia doesn't have ask Cassie to do anything about the lasers or the platform she can't jump to because it is to high.

  • I think keeping it as El Vengador is fine, since it was about both Oscar and his grandfather, as well as the idea of being El Vengador. It reminds me of the Evs Dropper comics in that way, in that Evs wasn't a single person either. Season Summary

Hey, I realize this is kind of forward looking, but I was updating the Season History templates in case we get another installment and need to do a Reborn portion. I am having difficulties with three things: 1) When I type "Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn" it does not take me to the button that says "New season summary page" 2) If I were to put it on the original page as {{season summary|season=Reborn}}, then the link appears as [[Noah Bennet/Season Reborn|Noah Bennet: Season Reborn History]] 3) On the top of the Season archive footer template, it will normally link to the previous season history if their is one and I can't seem to work it with the Reborn part Can you help me with these couple things?   • The "new season summary page" is set up to appear when the title "/Season" appears in the subpagename. I can make a workaround for the few individual pages. I don't think we need to do any major structural changes since this really only affects Noah and maybe a handful of other characters.     • Actually, I think the biggest issue is that there was a misspelling on the archive page. It said "Rebron" instead of Reborn" so I don't think it was pulling the info correctly...       • Oh, okay. I wasn't meaning that we do it now. It was mainly just to smooth the bridges later incase we needed to. It shows the category at the bottom of Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn Category:Season Reborn Histories.         • The "if exist" command just means that if the page exists on the wiki, do whatever it says to do. So something like {{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }} means that if there is a page called "Peter Petrelli" on the wiki, link it. If not, don't link it. That command would show up as Peter Petrelli. Something like {{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }} would show up as just Foo. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:05, 11 March 2016 (EST)

Making this Wiki Pretty Again

Hey,

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my userpage, I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. Hopefully if we all work together and can narrow down where we can help, we can finish this soon.

After this, we have graphic novels, webisodes, ebooks, and ability pages to finish up. But this way, a lot of it can get done. If you can't help one week or something, that's okay! This is just to inspire you and others to team together to get this done, there aren't a lot of pages under each episode, so maybe we could bust it out in a week, but maybe not! Spring is my super busy time of the year, getting ready for summer camp, wrapping up schoolwork, and getting my kids to all their sports activities.
