I've done it in the past by using my wife's blog, which records all the IP addresses that visit the blog. I don't think we need to do any major structural changes since this really only affects Noah and maybe a handful of other characters. What's the protocol for capitalizing the futures (eg - Explosion Future vs. Explosion future vs explosion future)? From looking at some of the edits, it seems that they are not capitalized except when headers or at the beginning of sentences, but they are proper nouns so should be capitalized based on that. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other, but I'd like to start cleaning them up when I run across them (I've been going with the lowercase version, but am not sure this is correct, looking at a few of the pages), to keep it consistent throughout the site. * They're not proper nouns, they're descriptions of the future that we've assigned for the purposes of naming articles and organizing which future is which. We should avoid using the fan-created names in articles whenever possible: "In a [[explosion future|possible future]], Peter has a scar" is much better than "In the explosion future, Peter has a scar." As well, if we ever do have to use the name we've assigned (like on disambig pages or when we have to distinguish between two futures), we should use scare quotes. Matt is a douchebag in the "[[explosion future]]", but not in the "[[exposed future]]". You need to add a collapsible table around the links you want collapsed. You also need to add a heading (which is denoted by an exclamation point, and it's mandatory for collapsed tables) and all the formatting (the blue background etc.) to the collapsed table. I also add a <code>width=100%</code> so that the collapsible part will reach all the way across the navbar when it's collapsed. ** What hooked me on this wiki, believe it or not, was the [[Theory:Red]] page. Ridiculous, eh? (I think I still have some unsigned, unformatted, unbulleted comments on that talk page.) A lot of people like making the wiki sort of their own personal RPG. Cool, whatever floats your boat. I hate having to sift through those edits (and the theory edits, and the spoiler edits--which I don't like to see, but which I'm certainly not avoiding like the plague). I hate it even more when a person adds tons of red links and inappropriate categories to [http://heroeswiki.com/index.php?title=User:Epi_Sanchez/Sonic_the_Hedgehog&oldid=246717 their user page], then people have to go get the mop bucket and clean it all up. But I guess that's the nature of the work, right? And [[User:Admin|Admin]] makes a great point--there are tons of people here who start by doing the user subpage thing, or the theory thing, or whatever. Even some who have had to be warned for what I can only imagine is editing while drunk. But most of those people either fade away, are blocked, or turn themselves around and become fantastic editors. It sucks to wade through that garbage, but we're all on different learning curves, and we're all at different levels. I wouldn't turn somebody away just because they don't make quality edits. Vandalism is one thing, priorities on subpages is another thing. With regards to your question on your [[Costa Verde High School|recent edit]], I'm not sure where to look for official policy on listing visitors as deceased. I was under the impression that, on lists like that, we updated people's statuses. I'm not sure why visitors vs employees would matter. We have listed it in the visitros sections [[Primatech Research|here]], [[Primatech Paper Co.|here]], [[Level 5|here]], and [[Kirby Plaza building|here]] (though I was probably responsible for a bunch of that over the last few weeks), and is not listed [[Upstate New York farm|here]], [[Kirby Plaza|here]], or on most of the location pages (eg - places in NY) (though I assume that is because nobody noticed it or hadn't gotten around to it yet). Since there doesn't appear to be any official policy on this yet, I guess it is up to you guys (administrators) to decide what is proper. My two cents would be that there seems to be no reason not to include it, as it is more accurate information and doesn't hurt, but if you decide it is not protocol, I will change the pages accordingly. On all of the charcter articles, the summaries are split into seasons, so there are articles like [[Nathan Petrelli/Season One]] etc. I think that Volumes Three and Four should be archived like this separately, and Seasons One and Two changed to Volume One and Volume Two. Each volume tells a distinctly different storyline for the character and the people that make Heroes have decided that their storylines are separated as such. Differences in Gemini & Enigma

I noticed in Enigma when Dahlia & 2014 Cassie interact that Cassie isn't wearing the Renautas smart glasses. Also in Enigma during the last meeting between Dahlia & 2014 Cassie, Dahlia doesn't have ask Cassie to do anything about the lasers or the platform she can't jump to because it is to high.

  • I think keeping it as El Vengador is fine, since it was about both Oscar and his grandfather, as well as the idea of being El Vengador. It reminds me of the Evs Dropper comics in that way, in that Evs wasn't a single person either. Hey, so there is a lot still to do here for Heroes Reborn and I was wondering if you, me, and maybe some others would like to devote the next couple of weeks to getting it all up to speed. So I'm suggesting this week we really go hard on getting the episode pages done. Summaries, Plots, MQs, etc. You think we can encourage others to help us?

MQ on 501, Synopsis on 506, MQ on 507, Synopsis and MQ on 508, Summary Synopsis and MQ on 509, Synopsis and MQ on 510, Story Dev and Synopsis on 511, Synopsis and Title Card on 512, Synopsis and Title Card on 513. As well, images from the episodes in the Synopsis' on all episodes.

Season Summary

Hey, I realize this is kind of forward looking, but I was updating the Season History templates in case we get another installment and need to do a Reborn portion. I am having difficulties with three things: 1) When I type "Noah Bennet/Heroes Reborn" it does not take me to the button that says "New season summary page" 2) If I were to put it on the original page as {{season summary|season=Reborn}}, then the link appears as [[Noah Bennet/Season Reborn|Noah Bennet: Season Reborn History]] 3) On the top of the Season archive footer template, it will normally link to the previous season history if their is one and I can't seem to work it with the Reborn part Can you help me with these couple things?   • The "new season summary page" is set up to appear when the title "/Season" appears in the subpagename. I can make a workaround for the few individual pages. I don't think we need to do any major structural changes since this really only affects Noah and maybe a handful of other characters.         • The "if exist" command just means that if the page exists on the wiki, do whatever it says to do. So something like {{#ifexist: Peter Petrelli | [[Peter Petrelli]] | Peter Petrelli }} means that if there is a page called "Peter Petrelli" on the wiki, link it. If not, don't link it. That command would show up as Peter Petrelli. Something like {{#ifexist: Foo | [[Foo]] | Foo }} would show up as just Foo. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 21:05, 11 March 2016 (EST)

Making this Wiki Pretty Again

Hey,

So with Heroes Reborn ending, we have a lot of stubs out there and frankly most of the new articles are incomplete (including episode pages). Therefore, I am hoping to inspire you and others to do this challenge with me. On my userpage, I have gone to all of the stubbed pages and separated them out by episode. Therefore, we can rewatch an episode and pay extra attention to these things that have stubs. So, my challenge is to follow this schedule to get everything listed under each category done. Hopefully if we all work together and can narrow down where we can help, we can finish this soon.

Schedule:

After this, we have graphic novels, webisodes, ebooks, and ability pages to finish up. But this way, a lot of it can get done. If you can't help one week or something, that's okay! This is just to inspire you and others to team together to get this done, there aren't a lot of pages under each episode, so maybe we could bust it out in a week, but maybe not! Spring is my super busy time of the year, getting ready for summer camp, wrapping up schoolwork, and getting my kids to all their sports activities.
