Hey Ryan, long time no see :) I've been away (and I still am) since Heroes has ended. And I've successfully obsessed myself with something else, just like you proposed. I want to create my own wiki and I need to know everything about how I'm supposed to do that. Just downloaded MediaWiki... What next? AltesUTC CH 09:43, 8 September 2010 (EDT)

  • I would ask Admin--he set up this wiki. I know there's a significant cost involved with it, so you'll want to work out some plan for recouping your expenses (Google ads is what worked for us when HW first started, and then we struck a deal with NBC). You'll also want to market the wiki in appropriate chat rooms and message boards. However, the best advertising you could have for your wiki is excellent content.     • Hey, guys. Thanks. Yeah, it's just totally a busy thing. 4 kids, full time teaching, early morning religion classes, sports coaching, piano teaching, hiring for summer camp, and running my son's Cub Scout pack...lots going on, you know? On the other hand, I'm totally digging The Event. It's a really awesome, really compelling show. I should head over the the other wiki and work on it a bit...especially on the weekends. My fear is that if I do, I'll become addicted, and let the "important" things in my life fall to the wayside.
