Thanks for the tip Ryan :), I upload the images for update the profiles, characters like Sabine needed a new one (I was getting tired of the flat, pale image which was at her profile). I'm way more active in the spanish heroeswiki than in this, you know, translate all the information takes a lot of time. See ya !!!.

P.S: Sorry for the broken english, but I'm from Venezuela (an spanish-speaking country :P).

Future Peter Pyrokinesis?

I searched Future Peter's page, the Pyrokinesis page, and the "Five Years Gone" page in search of confirmation that FP absorbed pyrokinesis from Meredith, but found nothing. Should a note be added to Future Peter's page about the interview? Without citing the source somewhere, stating that he absorbed it from Meredith just seems like speculation, sitting there in the entry as it does.--Paronine 17:13, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

• Well, nobody here is a pro, and we all have to start somewhere. I strongly encourage you to edit the page yourself, but also don't be offended if somebody makes some changes. A few things you can do to make the page even better: move it to simply Tracy Strauss. Add a "Character History" section, along with subsections for the two episodes she has been in so far. Add a Notes section perhaps. Add more to the infobox, like the fact that her home is in Maryland (it's the state on her license plate). After that, whatever else you feel like adding is fine. It's a collaborative effort, though, so I guarantee somebody will be around to make some changes. • A variety of sources...but the most recent ones are from a DVD I burned while watching the episode. My computer has been getting rather slow lately, so it takes a lot longer to get the screenshots. Episode 2 title

You left the comment "an image can't just be cropped to get rid of watermarks--the point of it being 650x365 is to keep the aspect ratio." on the image I uploaded. I'm not sure exactly what you mean. I pulled the screenshot directly out of NBC.com's website and I didn't crop out any watermarks. I didn't crop the image at all. Proposed Ammendment to Template

I am not sure where to leave this comment, but you seem to be the one with the power. I think that with the convoluted timelines, and the fact that we are on our second future Peters and Hiros, it is important that we add a time line field to our character templates. It could be identified as either Main, Explosion, Outbreak, Exposed, and Villains. I am not sure if this is already in place or if this is new, but either way I feel like you are the one who would be the best at adding or shooting down.

• Well, I'm definitely not the one who wants to hold that kind of power! As an administrator, I can delete article and files if necessary, and I can block somebody for things like vandalism, but I don't believe in overstepping my bounds beyond that. The wiki is a community, and as members of the community, you and I should have exactly the same amount of say in how the wiki takes shape. Regarding the timeline stuff, I agree something has to be done. I'm not exactly sure the best way to organize it--and in a show with as many twists and turns and intricate plotlines involving multiple characters in multiple futures, I don't know if there ever really is a good way to keep it all straight. But this is definitely something to bring up with the community. I haven't had too many chances to follow the recent changes, but I know there is a conversation going on at this link, and I'm sure there are others. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 22:07, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

• Yeah, I've asked him before, and he gets so busy he doesn't always answer back, though I know he's well-meaning. Let's see--I've asked him about Matt Neuenberg, Brian, Walter, Kelly Shoemaker, and the unknown Company founders. I've also asked him if he had any information on David Pitcher and Mark Ford. Awhile ago he told me that he would do some digging, but I hate bugging him, so I haven't followed up. I think it's okay to send another email at this point. • Both this and this are from promotional images. The first is a more traditional character profile shot. The other is a very stylized, airbrushed photo which is very cool, but probably not the best image for a character infobox. • Well, it's bound to happen, and there's nothing wrong with that. Plus, sometimes having images right away is more important than having images of high quality. But I use high definition images, and that's pretty much the only way to make sure the quality is up to par. For sizes, most images should be standard size, which is 200x250 for character and cast/crew portraits, and 450x350 for almost everything else. One thing a lot of people do (and I honestly don't know if you fall into this category or not) is stretch their images or distort the pictures so they fit better into the dimensions above. Bad idea. In most cases, it's better to have an image that's the "wrong" size than to have it stretched and distorted. Finally, one thing most people can do is to change the color levels of the images they upload. That means playing around with the brightness, contrast, and tint until it looks good. Beyond that, it's having HD, and there's not much you can do if you don't have it! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 15:31, 25 September 2008 (EDT)

    • Oh, please, don't take anything I said to mean that you should stop uploading images--when an episode airs, people often want pictures right away to help them write articles and remember the episode. Sometimes it's better to have images uploaded quickly rather than wait for the quality HD images. Just don't be offended if your image gets reuploaded! :) But do whatever you feel comfortable doing. • Well, I have mixed feelings, to be honest. I don't see a compelling argument one way or the other. I like "premonition" because it addresses the fact that the dreams don't exactly tell the future; However, anybody can have a "premonition" and it's not very descriptive of the power. I like "precognitive dreaming" because it really does describe the power, but it calls the name precognition into question, since the two powers really are different. I personally like the name "premonitory dreaming". Apparently Tim Kring said it? I'd like to read the quote. • Hi there. There's a couple things you can do to make improvements to the website. Try starting with the checklists on the episode talk pages (Episode talk:The Second Coming or Episode talk:The Butterfly Effect, for example) and graphic novel talk pages (like Graphic Novel talk:Dreams Until Death). We have a ton of stubs that need to be expanded, and there are a whole lot of red links that need to have articles created, especially for some new characters and actors. That should be enough to last you a pretty long time, but if you're still looking for something else to do, feel feel free to just go to any random page and edit it until it looks terrific! Hi i'm sorry about that but Sylar requires the ability on a special episode which is technically called Season 3 Episode 0.

• I know this isn't my page but I'll reply anyway. ACDC, the Premiere Event wasn't an episode, and all clips shown on it (aside from past clips) are basically spoilers. Nothing shown on the Premiere is considered to have happened yet (not canon). We just have to wait until the next episode(s) until it actually does happen. Ok kk thanks. I just wanted to say that i saw a promo released from the episode on Monday and a covered body was taken out from Sylar's level 5 room. Before Angela comes with Noah Sylar washes his hands so after that episode would it be possible to post the ability?
