Danger

Sylar is often used for the purpose of creating danger.

There is often an overlying sense of danger in Heroes, that motivates the characters for the point of the story, or for other reasons.

Examples:

  • Niki's house is visited by two thugs, forcing her to leave.
  • Mohinder finds out his father has been murdered, which he believes is a result of his research.
  • Matt wakes up after being kidnapped.
  • Nathan is told by Mohinder that his life is in danger.
  • After cheating at Poker, Hiro and Ando are beaten up by some thugs.
  • Niki is attacked by a thug after refusing to have sex with Nathan, but the tables are reversed when her alter - ego appears.
  • Claire gets revenge on Brody by driving his car at high speeds into a wall.
