Jim Martin is a writer for Heroes. He began working for Heroes midway through the first season as the assistant to Tim Kring, the executive producer and creator of Heroes. For episodes fourteen through twenty-three of Season One of Heroes, Jim was the assistant to Allan Arkush, executive producer and director. Jim has also written many of the Heroes graphic novels. He co-wrote the webisode Going Postal with Yule Caise, and co-wrote the webisodes The Recruit and Nowhere Man with Timm Keppler. Jim also co-wrote the Slow Burn webisodes with Zach Craley, Oliver Grigsby, Foz McDermott, and Harrison Wilcox. Additionally, a photo of Jim was used to portray Chris Coolidge.
