Sedation is the ability to cause a victim to fall into a hypnotic or sedated state.

Limits
Samson used this ability on his son Gabriel when he attempted to acquire his ability of rapid cell regeneration. After pinning Gabriel to a wall, Samson extended his hand towards Gabriel and whistled, causing Gabriel to drift off into a sedated state of semi consciousness. (Shades of Gray)
