Omnilingualism is the ability to understand and utilize verbal or non-verbal communication without any prior knowledge of the language.
Characters
- Traveler is the only known character with this ability.
Limits
Traveler is observed to speak English, Swedish, Hindi, and Dzongkha, the language of the Kingdom of Bhutan. He is also able to effortlessly blend in with the natives of Bhutan, moving easily among them, due to his understanding of non-verbal communication. Traveler is also able to speak animal languages, as seen when he speaks to a yak.
Memorable Quotes
"As I pushed deeper into the country, I started asking about a man named Drucker. Fortunately, I speak Dzongkha. My ability to communicate and speak virtually any language, spoken or otherwise, is surely a plus."
Notes
- At one point, Traveler mentions that a group of yaks "didn't have much information, but did provide me cover." Whether Traveler is joking or hinting that he is able to communicate with the yaks (as his description of his ability implies) remains unknown.
