Powers

The following are abilities that have been demonstrated in the Heroes world.

Alchemy

Alchemy is the ability to transform the chemical composition of materials.

Examples:

Clairvoyance

Clairvoyance is the ability to mentally discern another person or item not in the user's presence.

Examples:

• Rocky Rojas attempts to locate someone using clairvoyance. See here.

Duplication

Duplication is the ability to create an exact copy of oneself.

Examples:

• Riddler tests his new duplication abilities and copies himself. See here.
• Rocky Rojas replicates himself. See here.

Empathic mimicry

Empathic mimicry is the ability to duplicate the superhuman ability of another person.

Examples:

• Yoeri sees someone take off, so he mimics the ability. See here.

Enhanced memory

Enhanced memory is the ability to remember...everything.

Examples:

Enhanced speed

Enhanced speed is the ability to move at speeds that are seemingly impossible.

Examples:

• Peter runs around a room. See here.

Flight

Flight is the ability to propel oneself through the air.

Examples:

• Somebody uses this ability, and Yoeri copies it. See here.

Freezing

Freezing is the ability to remove heat from matter, reducing its temperature and causing it to freeze.

Examples:

Illusion

Illusion is the ability to manipulate how other people perceive reality.

Examples:

• Riddler creates an illusion to make himself appear as a dog. See here.
• Peter creates an illusion to change his clothes. See here.
• Peter creates an illusion to make himself appear as a woman. See here.
• Rocky Rojas creates and fades an illusion of himself and a coffee mug. See here.

Induced radioactivity

Induced radioactivity is the ability to emit radiation and/or induce radioactive properties into objects and people.

Examples:

• Yoeri, after some events in his science class, practices his newfound ability at home. See here.

Invisibility

Invisibility is the ability to walk in plain view of other people without being seen.

Examples:

• Riddler vanishes in his bedroom. See here.

Lightning

Lightning is the ability to create and direct electrical arcs.

Examples:

• Riddler makes a quick electrical arc. See here.
• Riddler lights up his room. See here.
• Somebody sent by The Company is charged and ready to go. See here and here.
• Rocky Rojas makes an electrical arc between his hands and then blasts one towards the camera. See here.

Luminescence

Luminescence is the ability to emit and control light from one's own body.

Examples:

• Peter makes a poorly lit room very bright. See here.

• Rocky Rojas shines brightly. See here.

Phasing

Phasing is the ability to move through solid matter.

Examples:

• A Netherlands boy, Yoeri, discovers he can walk through walls. See here.

Plague emission

Plague emission brings death to those in close proximity when the holder is upset.

Examples:

• Bob gets upset, activating the ability. See the gallery.

Precognition

Precognition is the ability to accurately foresee future events.

Examples:

• Riddler sketches himself sketching the future. See the gallery.
• Riddler sketches a new message alert on Myspace. See the gallery.
• Rocky Rojas sees an angelic future. See here.

Pyrokinesis

Pyrokinesis is the ability to create and control fire.

Examples:

• Riddler's hand acts as a lighter. See here.

• Level's brother holds fire in his hands. See the gallery.

Rapid cell regeneration

Rapid cell regeneration is the ability to heal rapidly from wounds and injuries.

Examples:

Space-time manipulation

Space-time manipulation is the ability to alter the space-time continuum.

Examples:

• Riddler's sister teleports from her room to a backyard pond. See here.
• Riddler stops time as he throws an apple. See here.
• Peter stops time around his friend. See here.
• Peter teleports to his couch. See here.
• Peter travels through time to give himself a message. See here.

Telekinesis

Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with the mind.

Examples:

Fan powers

The following are abilities created by Heroes fans, but have not been demonstrated in the Heroes world as of yet.

Genetic Manipulation

Genetic Manipulation is the ability to manipulate a person's genes, allowing one to activate certain traits and deactivate others.

Examples:

• Peter activates and deactivates his photokinesis. See here.

Narcokinesis

Narcokinesis is the ability to manipulate a person's sleep patterns, making them fall asleep or be unable to sleep at all.

Examples:

• Peter puts his friend to sleep. See here.

Pain Induction

Pain Induction is the ability to stimulate feelings of pain in another person's brain without any physical contact.

Examples:

• Peter makes his friend's brain hurt, then his own. See here.

Rapid Gyration

Rapid Gyration is the ability to spin at extremely high speeds.

Examples:

• Peter spins extremely fast in one spot. See here.

Sciakinesis

Sciakinesis is the ability to control darkness and blend into shadows.

Examples:

• Peter darkens a room and then blends in. See here.

Tomatosis

Tomatosis is the ability to grow tomatoes out of nothing. This power would be useful when you're hungry.
