Lie detection is the ability to detect if other people are telling lies.

Limits
This ability allows the user to sense when someone speaks a lie. Limits are unknown at this time, but evidently the user feels a tingling sensation when told a lie.
Selected Examples
- In Our Father, Sue Landers used this ability to determine that Sylar was not at her office to deliver something. She also senses that when he says he won't hurt her, he's lying.
- In the same episode, Sylar, after killing Landers, used this ability on an office worker in the elevator, as well as on Arthur Petrelli.
