Acidic blood
Held by: Mary Krause
Ability to: Have one's blood be acidic

Mary's ability is the ability to have blood with acidic properties.

Characters

  • Mary Krause is the only character known to have this ability.

Limits

Right after Rachel removed Mary's restraints and a tube administering a gas/drug through Mary's nasal cavity in Building 26, Mary woke up and began to stand. She was then shot by two guards and fell backwards. The gunshot spattered Mary's blood on the sheets and flesh of another prisoner, and it burned through that prisoner's sheets and flesh. The spattered blood burned like a strong acid or base, but it is not known whether or not the blood's pH level deviated from normal, or whether something else was responsible for the burning nature of the blood. It is also unknown as to whether Mary's blood normally had acidic properties, or whether prolonged exposure to the gas/drug administered to fugitives at Building 26 altered the chemical properties of her blood.

Examples

  • When Mary is shot, her blood splatters across a bed and instantly burns through the sheets and flesh of the occupant. (Exodus, Chapter 10 of The Agent)
