The Power of Persuassion is the ability to force others to obey one's spoken persuassions.

Characters
Eden is the only character known to have this ability.

Limits
Eden's power of persuassion requires speech (so, it would not work if she were gagged), and presumably requires the affected individual to understand the spoken commands and be able to act on them.

Eden's persuassions do not compel instant obedience. She sometimes has to repeat commands before her victims obey (Six Months Ago), and the exact wording of the command may affect its success (Sylar appeared to resist Eden's rather complex set of commands at the end of Fallout). However, when strongly focused, the true limits of the power may extend to outright killing of the victim through pure power of persuassion (Life Before Eden).

Examples
* Eden (in a moment of anger) kills her step-mother with a verbal command. (Life Before Eden)
* Eden allegedly uses her power to lead a life of crime (including grand theft auto and arson). (Six Months Ago)
* Eden uses her power of persuassion to force Matt Parkman to go eat some donuts. (Six Months Ago)
* Eden attempts to use her power on Mr. Bennet, but is unable in the Haitian's presence. (Six Months Ago)
* At Mr. Bennet's command, Eden convinces Isaac to take drugs again. (Seven Minutes to Midnight)
* Eden uses her powers to prevent Sylar from attacking her, and then tells him to go to sleep. () (Homecoming)
* Eden attempts to use her power to make Sylar kill himself, but is unsuccessful. (Fallout)

Persuasion

Eden McCain uses her power of persuassion to force Matt Parkman to leave her.
Held by: Eden McCain
Ability to: Compel others with vocal persuassion
