Enhanced memory
Charlie helps out with a crossword puzzle
Held by:	Charlie Andrews
Ability to:	Recall facts in memory with great accuracy
Examples of enhanced memory

Eidetic memory is the ability to recall images, sounds, or objects in memory with great accuracy, and in seemingly unlimited volume. It also seems to include the ability to gain a complete understanding of the subject matter.

Characters

Charlie Andrews was the only known character to display this ability.

Sylar presumably killed Charlie and tried to obtain her power of eidetic memory, but her brain was not removed (see Mr. Bennet's picture). He has not yet demonstrated her power.

Limits

Charlie was able to remember everything she read since she first manifested this power. She was also able to comprehend and use the knowledge gained almost immediately.

The limits of what a character with this power may remember are not yet known.

Examples

• Charlie Andrews immediately knows the obscure answer (Kanyakumari) to a crossword puzzle on which Sheriff Davidson was working. (Seven Minutes to Midnight)
• Charlie learns to speak some basic Japanese, having only started reading her phrase book one week ago. (Seven Minutes to Midnight)
• Charlie learns both spoken and written Japanese in a matter of days after Hiro travels back into the past and gives her a Japanese phrase book. (Six Months Ago)
