Premonition is the ability to see the future through dreams.
Characters
- Angela Petrelli possesses this ability.
- Her son Peter has absorbed this ability from her.
Limits
Very little is known about this ability. The only known examples of Angela using this ability is a dream she had while riding in a taxi. However, Peter has unknowingly accessed this ability several times.
There appears to be slight differences between the dream and the actual events. Whether this is due to inexperience or is a natural consequence of the power is unknown.
Examples
- Peter has a dream of himself flying. (Genesis)
- Peter dreamed of his brother's car accident from 200 miles away. (Six Months Ago)
- At the Odessa Sheriff's Department, Peter dreams that Nathan visits him, only to turn into Sylar (Fallout). Later that day, after his release from the custody, he passes out and has a vision of the explosion. (Fallout, Godsend)
- Angela sees a future where several characters are killed. (The Butterfly Effect)
Notes
- It is unclear whether Peter's dream in How to Stop an Exploding Man is a result of this ability.
