Aura absorption is the ability to take the lives of others and the abilities of evolved humans, as well as see the auras of others.
Characters
- Linda Tavara is the only character known to have this ability.
Limits
Linda's use of her ability leaves the bodies of her victims withered. If her victim is an evolved human, she also takes their ability. The use of this ability requires close proximity and may require physical contact. It is unknown if she constantly sees the auras of living things or if there is an "off switch".

- In a forum post, Robert Atkins said, "Linda drains the life force from those she touches when using her powers. somewhat like Rogue in X-Men, when used on normal people it kills them and give her a 'boost'...When draining someone's lifeforce that has power, she would notice when draining the power."
- According to the script for Bounty Hunter, Linda's hands (plural) were supposed to glow blue when touching Jason Welkes.
