On several occasions, evolved humans have demonstrated the ability of using multiple abilities simultaneously. A list of examples follows.
Season One Gallery
-
Peter Petrelli, whilst training with Claude, uses telekinesis while the two are both using their ability of invisibility.
(Unexpected) -
Future Sylar, appearing as Nathan, creates an illusion while telekinetically cutting through Claire's skull.
(Five Years Gone) -
Sylar freezes water to make snow while also using telekinesis on his mother's snow globes.
(The Hard Part)
Season Two Gallery
-
Peter regenerates...
Season Three Gallery
-
Future Peter uses a trio of abilities simultaneously: telekinesis, regeneration, and illusion.
(Resistance) -
Sylar uses telekinesis with his right hand to hover the bullet in front of Arthur while using telekinesis with his left hand to disarm Peter.
(Our Father) -
Sylar uses telekinesis and lie detection on Angela to determine that she knows who his real parents are.
(Dual)
Notes
- At one time, writers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite said that Peter only has access to one power at a time. However, Peter has clearly demonstrated his proficiency at using multiple powers simultaneously on more than one occasion. Indeed, he was able to do so on one of his first attempts at using an ability independently.
