Impenetrable skin is the ability which allows one's body to be tougher and more resistant to physical injury.

Characters

• Baron Samedi is the only person known to have this ability.

Limits

Baron Samedi has the ability of impenetrable skin, which grants him a greater resistance to physical injury than an average human. The Haitian has remarked that Samedi's skin is invulnerable to objects such as knives, fire and bullets. When flown into a car by Nathan Petrelli, Samedi pauses and then stands up unscathed. However, Samedi is apparently not immune to mental based abilities, such as mental manipulation.

Notes

* In deleted scenes shown on the Season Two DVD, Sylar obtains the ability of impenetrable skin from a character named Robert Keep. In this scene, Sylar telekinetically extracted Keep's brain through his mouth and nasal passage (although it is questionable that a person's brain could be removed this way and remain in one piece). It is unknown as to whether Samedi would be so susceptible.
