Impenetrable skin is the ability which allows one's body to be tougher and more resistant to physical injury.

• Baron Samedi is the only person known to have this ability.

Limits

Baron Samedi has the ability of impenetrable skin,though it might be more accurate to term it invulnerability or at least nigh-invulnerability which grants him a greater resistance to physical injury than an average human.The Haitian has remarked that Samedi's skin is invulnerable to objects such as knives, fire and bullets. When flown into a car by Nathan Petrelli, Samedi pauses and then stands up unscathed. However, Samedi is apparently not immune to mental based abilities, such as mental manipulation.

Notes

• In deleted scenes shown on the Season Two DVD, Sylar obtains the ability of impenetrable skin from a character named Robert Keep. In this scene, Sylar discovered a "soft spot" inside his mouth which allowed him to claim the ability. It is unknown as to whether Samedi has a similar weakness.
