Nocturnality is the ability to enter a resting state during the day and actively function at night.

Nocturnality is the ability to rest during daylight hours and become active at night. This ability is held by many different species of animals and by nighttime custodians and security guards. In order for many people with this ability to adapt to diurnal society, stimulants such as coffee are frequently consumed. Many have to suppress their ability to function in everyday society.

Nilesh Virmani holds this ability and comes into class tired and out of place with the rest of society. He uses coffee and other stimulants to keep himself from using his ability.
