Technopathy

Micah Sanders exercises his powers to use a broken telephone with a single touch.
Held by: Micah Sanders
Ability to: manipulate electronics
Examples of technopathy

Technopathy is the ability to control and manipulate electronics with the mind.

Characters

Micah Sanders is the only character known to have this ability.

Limits

Micah's power of technopathy seems to work through physical contact with electronics. He has been able to access the technology of broken items as well as working items.

Examples

  • Micah Sanders fixes the logic board of his laptop, possibly using his powers. (Genesis)
  • At a motel, Micah exercises his powers to use a broken telephone with a single touch. (Nothing to Hide)
  • Knowing his father and he are low on money, Micah uses his powers to steal money from an ATM. (The Fix)
  • Micah communicates with a computer at school to find out who propagated a malign file. (Bully)
  • Micah touches an electric billboard to scare away a bully. (Bully)
  • Micah leaves a locked room by touching the security keypad. (The Hard Part)

Notes

  • Micah solders a circuit-board. He appears to have an innate understanding of the physical wiring and mechanics of electronics. (Genesis)
  • Micah receives a $2,000 laptop from his grandfather. Within minutes, Micah dissembles the laptop, appearing to know exactly how the machine works. (Six Months Ago)
  • In an interview, Bryan Fuller said that Micah's powers allow him to communicate with electronics "like R2D2".
